“Up for sale all original 1946 Willys CJ2A. Runs and drives super smooth. Recently work done on all oils replaced, transmission gasket changed etc. Very powerful torque, easily goes 45 mph, it could go 55 mph but didnt try it. I restored it partially after getting from a ranch sale last year it was used on the farm and around town as a work horse. Great original patina and sound. 4 WD works nice as well. I wouldnt change anything on this beauty. Electrical bulbs might need to replaced, thats all.”

Roger shared this CJ-2A with driver side indents. I suspect that top requires the vertical windshield. The bidding is currently at $3300 with 9 hours to go. The drain holes have been filled and bow holders removed, so this likely has had some bodywork. It’s listed as a 1945, but more likely a ’46.

John shared this online auction for a VEC? CJ-2A with a column shifter. It doesn’t appear to have had indents, so this may be in the 3XXXX serial number range.

This may be a VEC, but I don’t see anything to indicate it is a ’45. Most likely it is a 1946.

“Thinking about selling my 45 Willy’s. I have owned it for about 8 years or so and I just don’t drive it. It has the original drivetrain and runs very good for its age. Anyway I just don’t have a clue what these things are worth these days. Would anyone mind sharing their opinion on the range that these things are going for these days?
