I found this dually earlier this week, but now can’t remember where. So, if anyone happens to know, send me the link and I’ll make sure the website (or jeep owner or both) gets the credit due them.

“1951 willys jeep for sale OBO.”
1958 M-38A1 Wasco, Or $1800
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1800. This looks like a great deal.
This looks like a nice M-38A1 for the price.
“1958 Willys Jeep. F134 four cylinder motor. Runs great. Good tires. Perfect for hunting. Email me with questions. If you want more photos I can provide those for you. Clear title. I am selling because I would like to buy a class C motor home. If you have a motor home I would consider working out some sort of partial trade.
Price Reduced: $1800.00”
1942 GPW Enseneda BC, Mexico $6000
I’m not sure what it would take to bring this into the U.S. and it seems pretty high priced for a non-runner, but it looks complete and raw. Interestingly, it appears to have Cali black plates, so not sure what it’s doing down there. Check out the email addy … lol
“its a 1942 GPW ford stiil in good conditions, but it doesn´t run, includes a lot of extra parts, some of them are new(new folding top, fuel pump, valves, starter, and the list continues). i also found 2 bullet impacts in the rear, i belive those are from the war. if you are interested call this number (646)152 98 00 nextel ID 152*15*55067 or email oouhshit@hotmail.com”
1946 CJ-2A Brighton, CO **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600
It doesn’t run, but turns over. It looks complete, though rough.
“I am moving and this old Willys project has to go. No title — I have the paperwork for a Rebuilders Title. It belonged to a friend’s Dad — part of his major junk vehicle collection. When they settled the estate, my friend brought it to my place thinking we would work on it togethttp://www.ewillys.com/wp-admin/post-new.phpher. We have both decided to give up, so this ol’ beast has to go. The price is $600 — $500 of that goes to my friend, and $100 is mine for the parts I put into it. Please don’t expect me to haggle on the price — I’m only getting reimbursed for new parts and getting nothing for storing this thing for 3 years. It has the original 4 cylinder engine and turns over fine, I just haven’t got it to start yet. I bought some new parts (coil, cap, condenser, switch, etc.) but haven’t had the time to seriously troubleshoot the issue. There is some spark — it might just need new plugs”
1952 M-38 Wilsonville, Or $3500
This might be in pretty good shape. I can’t quite tell how good from the pics. I can tell it’s not a CJ-2A though …
“1952 Jeep CJ2A Flat Fender~Chevy 4 Cyl~Soft Top~Too Many extras to list!! Must see to truly appreciate!! $3500. OBO
Tom~971-409-4266”
1954 CJ-3B Astoria, Or $8450
The pictures are a little pixelated, but the jeep looks great.
“1954 Willy’s CJ-3B Jeep. original running gear, paint 2 yrs old, original color. No rust & has never had any rust, has also been converted to a 12 volt, GM style alt red top optima battery, pertonix electronic distributor, also features overdrive unit. NOS trico wiper motors, I have original boxes. Solex Carb. I have most receipts. Also included original parts book,“NOT a reprint” and the Owner’s manual. I have saved old original parts, Carb, Gen, Dist, & Coil. I have a soft top for the Jeep, although it is not in perfect shape, On the passenger side, there is a 3-4 inch tear near the front, this can easily be fixed, since we do not drive in the wintertime, it is not a big deal to me. Always topless. This is a super clean, solid Jeep, no issues what so ever. I have just taken it as far as I want to and I am ready now to move on to another project. Possible trade for 1966-67 Pontiac Lamons…… $8450.00 OBO. DENNIS 503-458-6014 mkadams@centurytel.net”
1942 MB Brooklyn, NY **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $28,500.
Are those square lights on the back? That sound was the price dropping …
“Restored 1942 Jeep Willys…Most of the parts are original very few were changed because its hard to find parts for this car [jeep]”
1950 Jeepster Springfield, Il **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16,750.
You know, it’s just occurred to me I’ve never ridden in a jeepster (that I remember).
“Dark Red 1950 Willys Jeepster Conv,. Totally restored and rebuilt within the last few years. Jeepster mainly used for parades. Good top and side curtains. 6 cyl, 3 speed, 12 volt. Nice, runs & drives great.”
1947 CJ-2A Amarillo, Tx $2700
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2700
(05/22/09) Looks pretty stock. I suspect those are some old classic white walls too?
“1947 Willy Jeep in great condition. Runs and drives with no problems or leaks. 3 speed high and low with 4 wheel drive. New rings, electric fuel pump, new gas tank on drivers side, newly recovered back seat, roll bar, new horn, and boots on shifters. Real nice soft top with no tears included. You can take this jeep anywhere with no worries about getting stranded or stuck. Great in the mountains, farm, ranch, or hunting lease. Am looking to get a 4 wheeler so I don,t need anymore. Email phone # if interested.”
1961 CJ-5 Arvada, CO **SOLD**
The buyer purchased this jeep a couple months ago, but has never gotten this v6 started. Note: it includes an overdrive. This might be a good deal if the engine turns over and you can talk the seller down a bit (after all, it’s non running & needs new tires) on price. Then go through this check list as these are the most likely issues:
- Is the carb getting gas? If not, the filter is likely plugged or the fuel pump is not working
- Is the distributor getting spark? Pull a plug, leaving connected to the plug wire, set it against the block, and watch for a spark (easiest at night).
- If 1 & 2 are good, check and see if the distributor is simply backwards. rotate the cap 180 degrees (or the wires — this happened to me this summer when finishing my engine build).
1948 CJ-2A Medford, OR **SOLD**
(01/21/09) The picture isn’t quite clear enough to be certain, but it appears the passenger step goes all the way to the body rather than turning inward near the end. Also, there’s no drain hole on the side. Either this is a fiberglass body or the metal body has been modified.
“48 willy’s flat fender jeep has original 4 cylinder in it 3000”
1942 MB Airmont, Ny $18,000
This looks more than complete with all the extras. Check out the image folder to see LOTS of pics.

1946 CJ-2A Huron, Oh $3500
This windshield and body kind of blur together. I can’t tell if the pic is blurry or whether something has been changed.
“This jeep is in great shape with a rebuilt motor. Jump in and go.”
1961 CJ-5 Sacramento, Ca $1800
I’m not a fan of the front bumper on this jeep, but the rest of this looks like a good price.
“1961 Willys CJ5. 4 Cylinder, Rebuilt Transmission, new clutch. Runs good, Top in great condition, Interior needs work
Body is decent but has two rough spots, $1,800 OBO Call: Bill 916-220-6119”
1949 Jeepster Monroe, Mi $8000
Here’s another nice Jeepster.
“I have for sale a 1949 Willys Jeepster in need of a good home. Has been garage kept and is rust free. I don’t have the time to give the attention this vehicle deserves. Everything on this vehicle is original, except the top and seat covers which are in good condition. It also comes with the side windows. It has: “Flat Head 4″ Three on the tree manual transmission. Optional overdrive. Previous owner was going to make into hot rod until he found out everything was original. Pulled gas tank to use as template and didn’t put back on correctly, so gas tank has loose connection after going down bumpy road and leaking on garage floor. Haven’t driven in a year, but started and ran great after buying new battery and installing new tune up kit. The only other issue with this vehicle is needing a new paint job and new tires. Serious inquiries only can contact me at (734) 558-1878. No trades. I have enough projects right now.”
1944 MB Tucson, Az $1000
UPDATE: Simon called the seller and discovered the tub is civilian.
It’s got some side rust and needs some drive train.
“WWII army jeep. No engine or title. In need of restoration.”
1943-45 Willys Harrisburg, Pa $1300 (A ’45 VEC?)
I’m thinking the rolling chassis on the right is a CJ-2A? I’m less sure of the jeep on the left is a VEC or a mix & match.
“Wanting to sell Willys Jeeps. Have three matching titles. One full body and two others with frame, engine, transmission.all match tile. Plus extra set of tires and rims. RARE Shift on colum transmision ORIGIONAL!. Please seroios inquiries only. Call 717-798-7224.”
1943? (maybe ’53) CJ-3A Tulsa, Ok $2200
This looks like a good deal to me.
“This is a 1943 Willys, It runs but has been modified in a few ways. The things that have been changed are: seats, added roll bar, steering column, tires, and motor. This is all that I am aware of. It runs out fine, but I wanted you to be aware of everything up front. Thanks for looking, you can contact me at 527-8605”
1946 VEC CJ-2A Wichita, Ks $1900
UPDATE: Price dropped to $1900 without the Hardtop or $2200 with it. The seller has included the serial number, in the previous AD — #36930. The engine is seized, but it includes an extra engine.
“I am reposting my CJ2A to see if by chance if there is anyone interested. It is a complete all orignall 46 CJ2A with a hard top. I will sell the 2A less the hard top as I have a buyer for the hard top, but will not let the hard top go until the 2A has a home. The brand on the hard top is Carson Car Craft (built in Oklahoma City). I have an extra engine as the engine in the 2A is locked up. The extra engine is not locked and is rebuildable. I also have all 5 orignal wheels that will also go with the 2A. I have a extra pair of front fenders as part of the deal. I had been asking $2500.00 for the 2A with the hard top, but at this point I would take $2200.00 for the 2A with the hard top or just the 2A less the hard top for $1900.00!! Thanks, Chris 316-655-6722”
1950 M-38 & M-38A1 Nebraska $1000
The flattie looks to be a M-38, so the year should be 1950 or later. The other I’m guessing to be a M-38a1. It’s a bizarre parking job.
“The red jeep ran when i got it 5yrs ago. The drive train worked good too. It has a title. The yellow jeep has the motor taken out of it and is in the back of it same with the front clip. The drive train is good on it though. It dosent have a title. I was gana take the two and make on nice one. And take the rest of the other one and make a trailer for it. I will bring them to denver for you for an extra 300. If you have any questions feel free to ask @ mrdobrinski@gmail.com”
1946 CJ-2A Morganton, Ga $650
I’m wondering if this is a VEC and maybe not a WWII body.
“1946 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2A, Complete Jeep but Not Running, Soft Top with Doors, WWII Body on CJ-2A Frame/Running Gear, All Original Parts/Complete Engine and Accessories, Have 2nd ’46 2A Advertised on C.L. Will take $950.00 for Both, Call Todd – 706.633.6072″

“4 cyl. 3speed overdrive, runs good, old parade car”
1942 GPW San Juan Capistrano, CA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $16000
(Sept 19, 2009) “Ford GPW, tub off restoration to motor pool specs. I’ve had this jeep for three years and have driven it very little. Date of delivery is Nov. 30, 1942. I have spent a lot of time and money on it but I’m getting too old and just don’t have that much time for it. I’m asking $18,000 OBO. I don’t know how to post pictures so if interested you can come by and see it, email me with questions, or call me and ask questions. It is in lusterless O.D. and Marine Corps markings.
