“Any intertest in five cabovers”
One of our readers must sell his CJ-6, another victim of the economy. While it doesn’t run yet, it looks much better than when he bought it. Good luck Andy (and I’m happy to see there’s some good bidding on this already)!
“Koenig Hardtop and hard doors.Koenig PTO winch. Bendix brake booster.Front tow-hitch. Heater. Lights work on high and low beam, horns work. Complete original Fhead Willys 134 engine. Solid drivers side floor board, hood, windsheild frame, drivers side fender, rear floorpan etc.. Has rust through on the passenger side which could be fixed with new floopan and rockerpanel but that is the worst of the rust. Also has some small very spot-weldable rust holes down both sides of the hardtop about an inch above the tub. Test lite gives good voltage at battery and coil. One of only 1991 made in ’61. Original sale date was 08-02-1962. Unique look so its not like every other CJ that you see …. ”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
This has a pop in the rear, but otherwise appears solid. It might make a good restoration candidate.
“1962 Willys Pickup. Original 6 cylinder engine. 35,000 original miles. Floorboards are solid, all gauges and lights work. Body is in great shape but does need some paint, primer is showing through in spots. Glass is good all the way around with two cracks on the lower right-hand corner of the driver door and two small cracks up high near the center of the windshield. Seat needs re-upholstered. Has been a great truck for me but has developed a popping noise in the rear differential. I parked it so as to not damage it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
This looks solid, but the pic is a way from the jeep.
“1958 4X4 WILLYS THIS TRUCK IS IN GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS A CHEVY V8. I HATE TO SELL IT BUT I REALLY NEED A TWO HORSE SLANT BUMPER PULL, OR SMALL STOCK TYPE TRAILER. I WANT $2,500 OBO OR WILL TRADE FOR THE ABOVE TRAILER OF EQUAL VALUE. I’AM OPEN ON THE PRICE AND WILL CONSIDER ALL OFFERS. ”
UPDATE: Still Available
Is this winch a Warn winch that is installed backwards? I havent’ seen the housing on the right before.
“Price Reduced $3600 O.B.O 1958 Willys pickup, Runs and drives good, excellent condition for the year. If you are interested in it, just give me a call anytime. (906)201-2088. Thank You!
UPDATE: Breatt reports this CJ-3B Sold. I’ll keep this post around just to give people faith that there are still great deals out there!!
It was available for $1700. It runs, it has on Overdrive, it is straight. This won’t last the weekend. It does have an L-head rather than an F-head though. Kudos to Brett for spotting this one! If I had a trailer, I would have left tonight to go get this myself. Oh, this one’s painful ….
“This Jeep runs fairly well. Original motor and drive train. It has been driven 4 or 5 times a year for the past 10 years. $1700.00 OBO.”
**SOLD**
Jim’s wife spotted this CJ-3B and sent him the link (Jim suspects she wants another car .. those sneaky women!). This looks pretty solid and stock, though it has some rust that rims the edges.
“This is a rare 1964 CJ3B”tall hood” Jeep. It came from Texas so very little rust. Has factory hard top. Starts and runs great, even stops good. $3500.00″
This might be a good find. This runs with the help of some starting fluid. It is still 24 volt. It probably doesn’t have a title.
“This a MB 24 volt system stock drive train with stock milatary wheels and lights…..this jeep ran and will still run if you jump it and a shot of starter fulid….I am not willing to get involed in starting it or messing around with it for the sake of selling it at this price….you need to be willing to look at it and take it away either for a project or parts….will trade for guns of the same value….just tell me what kind of guns rifle, shotgun or pistol it will just have the same value…..1 gun and cash whatever it is sold as is to the first person that comes to Cedar City with a trailer and picks it up.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $42,500
“This example in the rare colors of Cerulean Blue and Glacier White is probably the best completely restored example in the world. Everything has been done to the highest standards from the paint and chrome to the bright waterproof fabric upholstery and surrey top. The underhood presentation is exceptional and no detail has been ignored. Much more practical than a Moke or Jolly with legendary Jeep reliability this is a superb and entirely practical vehicle for bright summer days at the shore lake or ranch and will vie with Bentleys and Ferraris for pride of place in valet parking lots in Hollywood the Hamptons or South Beach. $42,500”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4750.
“1949-1953 6-Willys Wagons and 1- 4×4 Willys P/U, My collection of 10 Yrs, kept in barns and shop for restoration. Sell or trade, choice for $1750.00 or $4750.00 for all”
UPDATE**SOLD** Was on eBay
“Frame on restoration done approximately 3 years ago. New wiring harness, Brakes, Interior, new tires, gas tank, Runs great, Original flat head six, Transfer may need a synchronizer, jumps out of gear if not tied down, simple fix I’m told This truck is and was rust free from the begining. A plus for a truck this age.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000
(01/12/10) This CJ-2A has a few interesting features. One is the spare tire holder, which uses a strategy I’m considering for my build. Also, this jeep runs the treadwright retread tires.
“1949 CJ2A – Excellent (not perfect) condition. Has been redone from the ground up. A must see. Starts, runs, steers, brakes. Many features including a Warn overdrive, Tulsa Ramsey winch (electric), Saginaw steering, 12 volt electric system with alternator and modern lights. I have used it – it is not a garage decoration. Engine was torn down, did not need rebuilt/bored…and was filled with new parts. Transmission and Transfer case have been rebuilt. Has a dual master cylinder. Parking brake works.”
Ok, I can’t resist … something’s fishy about this FC :-). Actually, it looks in good, unrestored condition. The paint job is certainly one-of-a-kind.
“This is one great little Jeep! I bought this on Ebay almost 3 years ago and it has no doubt been my favorite out of the 30+ Jeeps that I have owned in the past several years. It has the stock drivetrain, 134ci F-head 4 cylinder, t-90 3 speed, dana spicer model 18 transfer case and dana axles. The motor runs good no knocking, ticking or smoke. Original 6 volt system. 4 wheel drive works fine: high and low and front locking hubs. It has a warn winch with a good controller that was rigged to a battery and solenoid in the bed but I have never tried to operate it and the battery has been removed. It has a heavy duty custom front bumper and the rear bumper is a custom tube air tank with a guage and air hose hook up to fill your tires, beach toys or run tools. The tailgate opens and closes fine, windows go up and down and the doors shut very tightly. There are no rattles or loose parts on this Jeep, it is solid. The floorboards look like they have been patched with metal and there is a layer of outdoor carpet for insulation and rubber flooring over that. The heater works, horn works and all guages work. The seats are black vinyl, firm and in great shape except for a small hole in the back of the passenger seat. The inside floor of the bed is flakey around the bottom edges but there is no rust through anywhere on this Jeep. The frame of course has surface rust and maybe some pitting I guess you would say but is still very solid. The rear cab corners have had new metal replaced on them but it is a very solid repair as well. This is the first year these were made and it has the narrow track axles which I think make it look even more unique….”
It’s got a funky rollbar, but otherwise looks pretty sound.
“1951 Willys CJ3A. Very good condition. No rust! The guy I purchased it from brought it from Soutern CA and had the motor rebuilt, about 1200 miles ago. I put all new suspension, springs, shackles, and shocks.Comes with a custom made bikini top and 2 sets of tires, one stock size, and one oversized. currently registered as an antique.”

“1947 Willy’s (Airport Jeep). Extremely rare designed and built for airport use. All original very good condition runs great! Not licensed or registered. Has been on the Klamath Falls airport for 50 years and in storage for the last 28 years!!!”
This looks straight and solid.
“i have 59 jeep willy it has the origional motor and tranny. it has no rust, i wanted to fix it up but i ran out of money. it needs a tune up and a little bit of break work . but besides that its cherry. it just needs a good home. im asking for 3,000 OBO or willing to trade. if interested please call me at 503 798 1168”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was listed at $5900.
The pic is small, but this looks like a nice rig.
“One of a kind; few this nice around! Original 226 Continental flathead 6 cylinder, Warn hubs, 16 inch wheels / tires, clean interior, nice paint, Koenig mechanical drive winch / bumper.”
The paint is faded, but I can’t tell if rust rims the edges or not. It’s got PTOs front and back.
“For Sale: 1958 FC 170 Willys Jeep Truck 4×4. It has a PTO in front of jeep and a nd a PTO in the truck bed. Motor runs excellent. No Title but can get a bonded title for truck. Apparently, all it needs is a radiator. That’s a good price considering the plow … and the flashing light on top! On further inspection, I see it’s been autographed, too.
“1957 Willys Jeep 4 X 4 with plow. Needs radiator. Excellent for plowing. Please call 716-257-5882″
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3495
This looks like a good little truck.
“61 4×4 willys jeep truck solid body 327 engine with a 2 barrel just the rite amount of power ready to drive or work lots of fun $3495.00”
It runs and appears solid, but based on these pics, I wouldn’t say it is in ‘great shape’.

“1946 Willys. #47677. Mechanically original. Very straight & solid body. Adjustable seats in good condition. Original L head motor. Ran when parked quite a while ago. Always stored in doors. Excellent for restoration or building a classic rock crawler. ”
Here’s an early CJ-2A.
“1945 CJ2A – Only 1800 CJ2A’s were made in 1945. Has tool indent on driver side. Has tube front cross member. Serial # 11495. Runs and drives. All lights work. Transmission has been rebuilt.
