“1954 Willys 4×4 Station Wagon. All original except conversion to 12-volt, and electric fuel pump. 6 cylinder L-226 Super-Hurricane engine. T-90 transmission. Warn overdrive. Engine, transmission, and overdrive have all been rebuilt. Clean inside and out. Original oak floor strips. Some rust over rear wheel wells. Can send additional pictures. $6000 obo. It doesn’t look too bad for the price.

(04/17/2010) For a restored slat grille, this doesn’t seem like all that bad of price.

The engine turns over, but it sounds like it doesn’t run. It appears solid.

That is an unusual F-head engine hood modification. The Willys-Overland hard top looks great. I don’t think the grille looks original (the parking lights appear to be a later model). The overdrive isn’t original either, as it hadn’t been developed as of 1946.
“Offered for auction is a classic 1946 Jeep. This jeep has been family owned since new. It is so old the VIN # is 65111. It is all original except for the installation for an up graded F-Head engine in the early 1950’s. The hood scoop was added to allow for the room needed. It has “dual-matic” front hubs and a Warn 20% reduction overdrive all standard. This rare old jeep also has the original metal top and a heavy duty (tropic) radiator. The tires are new. This jeep runs perfectly. It is ready for restoration or modification. It is a great example of solid steel construction from 1946. A true American Classic. Bidders please note it is offered locally as well.”

“Beautiful 1965 Jeep Gladiator, 350 Buick eng. Automatic trans. A real pleasure to drive, certainly turns heads wherever it goes. It is a 4×4 but never goes off road! Power steering, manual hubs, truck is always garaged and rarely even driven. Needs a few finishing touches to make it perfect but is fine the way it sits! Hate to sell it but could really use the room in my shop right now. Please email with questions and I’ll try and answer them the best I can, if you would like more pictures let me know and I’ll send them off. The truck has a California title at the present time. I can have the truck shipped anywhere or will work with your shipper on my end.”

(06/19/2010) This appears in good shape. I don’t see any indication that it has a soft top (no buttons along the side). It appears the data plate is missing or just not installed.
“This is a 1948 jeep that has had a bunch of money put in it in the last few months, it has new brakes, tires, seats, paint ,starter,water pump. on and on, the engine runs great, mechanically it is sound, the body is rough, but the paint is shiney and will stay put”

“I have for sale my ’67 CJ-5. Has 71,XXX miles. Original drivetrain including 134 4 cyl ‘Hurricane’ engine, 3 speed tranny, and twin stick transfer case. I changed all the fluids last summer and have not driven it much since. Comes with a hard top and doors, but it is missing some glass. Does not come with pictured tires. The car has 56,337 miles showing on the odometer. It equipped with a removable second row of seats and a manually operated spotlight. It is a beautiful car, owned locally in Marin since 1957. “Less than 45k on vehicle. Complete new engine, clutch, starter, generator, voltage reg., hoses, V-belt, brakes, recent battery, carburetor, re-cored radiator. Repair manual, heater, wiring harness, tow bar, new wheels & tires, new shocks, speedometer & cable, Dualmatic hubs, military bumpers, gas can & bracket, spare tire bracket. Serious inquiries only.”
This looks like a good package.
“1946 Willys CJ2A in original almost rustfree condition, there is slight surface rust on the under body and one spot of rust on a hat channel at one of the mounting bolts. The inner windshield has rust around the glass area and probably could be replaced. The body itself has normal farm use dents and dings but nothing serious and would be a easy restoration, the area around the side holes are probably the worst they had a rubber cover bolted to both of them see picture, I have had it about 20 years and enjoyed it as is. Mechanically it runs great and everything works, including the originak key coil switch, has normal leaks at some of the seals. The brake lines wheel cylinders and master cylinder have all been replaced. The seats have powder coated frames and replacement cushions covered with vynil, the rear seat is a reproduction. Original seat pans springs and coverings go with the Willys. Wheels are powder coated with white vynil strpes and almost new non directional tires. I believe the Willys a has about 29,000 miles as it has on the speedometer. The wireharness could stand replacing, horn button doesn’t work but the horn does, windshied glass is a litttle scratched. The Willys comes with a complete Monroe three point hitch with a motor mounted hydraulic pump not installed.PTO with rear gear box and farm belt pulley and governor,V belt pulley for generator or welder, belt driven buss saw I believe it’s a Newgren. Front bumper weight, complete operational Linkbelt capstan winch with most original parts, rope roller assy is a reproduction and winch drive bracket is fabricated from steel and works well….”

“Complete restoration. New tires, soft top with doors, seats, floorboards, gas tank, glass, guages. The paint is just as shiny on the bottom of the jeep as the top. Everything in engine compartment replaced with new or rebuilt. Very neat and original looking under the hood. Built for parades and car shows. Runs like new. Must see in person.“
