“1947 Willys, starts and runs strong. Has extra engine available. Call to see. Dan 775-219-9788”
UPDATE: The seller has deleted this so I’m assuming it sold. Was listed at $2k.
It has sat for a couple years. Unclear why.
“I have a 1953 Willys Jeep for sale. This is a CJ-3B, all original motor and transmission. The jeep was used for years as a US Army jeep for re enacting. it has a military paint job and also has a gun mount attached to the bed of the jeep. The jeep has been sitting for about 1-1/2 years and is in need of restoration. All body parts are present and there is some rust that would have to be dealt with. The jeep has very low original miles on it and also has new tires all the way around. The Jeep has new brakes and the brake system on the jeep was rebuilt before the jeep was parked 1-1/2 years ago. I have about $500.00 in the new tires and $200 into the rebuild of the brake system. I am wanting $2000.00 or best offer for the jeep. This would be a great restoration project for someone who has the ttime, if you are looking for a original Willys CJ3B with all of the original parts here is one that can be restored. Please look at the photo’s below showing the condition of the Jeep. I have more photo’s if you want to see them just email me on craigslist and I will email them to you..”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800
(04/30/2011) This might not be a bad price, but it would be nice to really know if it runs.
“This is a 1948 willy’s jeepster! It is in great shape and ready to be restored! very clean car.was running when it was parked. has been stored in a garage with fluids drained. tires are still in good shape also and hold air with no leaks. please call to come take a look at this beautiful car! $3800 O.B.O.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8750.
The paint job appears unusual.
“1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep, Excellent condition and meticulously maintained and cared for, this CJ-2A with a ’90’s restoration has been garage kept during its life with the present owner (30 years). Bodywork condition and paint quality are superior. Since restoration, the Jeep is only used to cruise the neighborhood and farm, with an occasional trip to town. This CJ-2A is currently equipped with a “universal” one-piece replacement windshield (instead of the two piece original). The original flathead four engine had a partial rebuild and starts effortlessly and runs well. The electrical system is 6-volt. Everything functions except the fuel gauge or sending unit (scheduled to be the next project to tackle, but have not made it there yet – a paint paddle works adequately well!). The current tires are slightly oversized, but have substantial tread remaining. An original, matching rear seat is included as are a small assortment of spare parts. Ready to show or just bump around in, this Jeep offers a lot in originality and quality!”
New rope included on bumper.
“Willy’s 1951 jeep for sale $4500 firm. No trades! In good condition, but burns a little oil. Included is one brand new alternator, misc. seals and gaskets, and a full steel hard top manufactured in early 50s for this model jeep that includes doors and glass. Serious inquiries can contact Josh at 863-608-4829.”
This looks pretty good.
“1962 Jeep Willy’s 4×4, Super Hurricane Six that runs great, Factory front winch, comes with snow plow, needs interior work. Must see. Please inquire via e-mail.”
UPDATE: Was on eBay. **SOLD**
“This is an EXTREMELY RARE original Kaiser JEEP M-677 built for the Marine Corp and delivered in 1964. These are becoming harder and harder to find, especially in this good of shape. The CERLIST Diesel engine is locked up causing the vehicle to be in a non-running condition. I have been told that it could be taken apart and cleaned or replaced with a gas engine. It was running until a few years ago. This is a rare and really cool piece of U.S. Auto History. There are some rust issues and a few broken windows, but the vehicle is basically in tact and in good shape. There is a fold down wooden bench seating unit in bed and the aluminum cover is removable. These were used as transport vehicles and ambulances in the World War era. If restored, this would be an amazing 4×4 vehicle. I do not have the time or resources to do so, but there are a lot of collectors out there who would love to get a hold of this baby. Good luck, if you know what this is, it’s pretty impressive!”
This appears to be a pretty stock jeep.
“I’m selling this for an eldery woman. This was her husbands Jeep prior to him passing away. It ran before it was parked, however it will take some work to get it running again. Buyer will have to tow/trailer it away. comes with the plow. being sold as is.
Seats are ripped up some. vehicle is far from perfect cosmeticly, but mechanicaly sound.
Give me a call at 715-209-0821, mike, for any questions you might have. I’ll try to answer them as best as i can.
Reasonable offers please. No reasonable will be refused.”
This appears to be solid.
“1949 Willy’s Jeep $8000 or best offer. The JEEP is in Centreville, Maryland. Nearly a complete rebuild and in great condition. I am now working on another project and will need to get this out of my garage. The JEEP comes with a new soft convertible top [installed]and has had substantial engine rebuild and other items replaced over the past several months. Is a 6 volt system, but I have the replacement alternator to convert to 12 volts. The jeep comes with an “A” Frame tow bar hitch attached to the front bumper to make towing easier. Please email me at mwint6946 @ gmail.com or call at 443-254-2703. Only serious buyers need call. My name is Mark.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
This might be a good price even though it doesn’t run. It looks solid.
“My son and I picked this up as a project vehicle about 20 years ago. We put some time into it and had a lot of fun with it. My son has moved away and I don’t have the time to put into keeping it up, not too mention needing the space for new toys.
It has been almost 12 years since it has ran, but it it done run quite well. It has signs of being almost 70 years old, but is still a great little project for someone with the time, money and energy. It has been garaged and out of the elements since the day we we took it home.”
I suspect the pictures don’t do this CJ-5 justice.
“1960’s Jeep Willys CJ-5 in excellent condition for sale. Looks like it just rolled off the production floor. “Jeep 1949 Willys with canvas seats and top. Was restored in 1996 and has a 4 cylinder Buick in the place of the L head Jeep engine it was born with. When this was king speed limit was 45 on all Florida roads. It was made for 45 and below and is lots of fun there. Has towbar and can pull trailers easily. In low range you can idle through about anything. This is a dirt road, forest road loving vehicle and has WARN hubs. Everything works fine but needs the brakes adjusted by hand if you enjoy stopping.”
This looks like a nice wagon.
“must see to appreciate, needs some minor attention

(03/27/2011) This looks to be a good price.
“1958 Jeep FC-150
4×4 works good
original hurricane 4 cyl. runs good
original 3 speed transmission shifts good
took body off frame and sanded and painted frame in 05 when I got the truck
put new hoses and belts, radiator, fuel pump, water pump, wires, plugs, shocks, brakes
good set of tires all around
drove this truck every summer since 05, last driven in oct 10, haven’t got it out this year yet,
needs new battery, put new in in 05 but now it’s dead but can be jump off to drive,
it has the original 6 volt system
this truck was made from the factory on a cj3 frame and running gear, so even though it
is a rare truck, parts for the drive train are very easily found.
the body on this truck is pretty good shape for its year, it looks like it was repainted years ago,
rust is at a minimum for these trucks, both floor boards and rear cab corners are the worst part
this truck is as close to original as they come, i’ve driven it all over the place on road on trails
i took it to a car show 30 miles away, which took a while considering it has a top speed of 50 mph down hill
i love this truck but have to many toys and no room.
I prefer cash but will consider partial trades or trades for samurai tin top, jeep cj or wrangler with hard top 4×4 only”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
