UPDATE: **SOLD** … was priced at $1800. The story is told below:
Joe wrote, “I think it’s accurate to say that everything is there, minus the tub and tires… even the floor pan, tailgate, and wheels are there. Unfortunately, the gauges got wet while being stored by police (outside) as evidence. He says it was originally a Fire Jeep, for patrolling, but seldom used… which would explain the lack of rust on all the now-detached parts (hood, fenders, gas tank, etc.).
They caught the “tweeker”, who disassembled this jeep in an apparent drug-induced frenzy. He wasn’t even selling it… just tore it apart: pried off the floor pan; took off the body (now missing); and removed the tires from rims (tires are missing). Talk about a random act of destruction. Just SAD.
The AD:
“My beautiful 1950 CJ3A had 19000 original miles before the tweeker stole it and tore it apart. now I have the frame, engine, transmision, transfer case, axles, wheels, roll bar, hood, grill, tail gate, all in pieces. He cut the pan off with a air chisle. Didn’t damage the frame but tore the pan all to h$@#. I have it all loaded on a trailer, would like to sell as a lot but may be open to parting out. She was beautiful now she is parts and it breaks my heart to look at her.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
The pics aren’t good, but it seems to have potential.
“1958 Willy Jeep – more than 70% restored. Cash only”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
(02/21/2013) It looks like there is some bondo near the step. Or, it is the light reflecting funny.
“I have a 1946 willys allstock runs great!”
This jeep has the rear PTO. It looks good.
“One of a king Jeep Willys. Simply the best Jeep on the market! Total restoration beginning in 2003. I have records of all repairs and purchased parts. Fun to drive. Around 4000 miles on origional engine restoration. Very rare correct back seat, PTO, etc. Too many repairs to list. Vehicle sold “as is”. It is awesome! Only serious buyers. Buyers must pay by bank check and buyers are responsible for all fees for delivery. “
UPDATE: **SOLD*** Was on eBay
This appears solid and includes the hunting platform.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This former movie jeep looks like a good restoration candidate.
“1952 Willys M38 Jeep used as team vehicle in Major League 3 “Back to the Minors”
The movie production company rented this Jeep from me and painted the black “bumblebee stripes” on it in 1998 for the movie.
Click on the link below, to the movie and at 12 minutes into the movie, you will see the Jeep drive into view during the airport scene………………..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3iq9u0Bhj0
The Jeep is rust free and has been stored inside my warehouse for the past 30 years, except for the week it was used to film the movie.
This M38 is in extremely good condition and rust free. I bought thisM38 Jeep from the South Carolina Highway Department on Shop Road, in Columbia, SC. The SCHD shop used it as a “pusher” on their yard since the mid 1950’s, hence the extremely low miles under 5000. Please view posted photos!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750.
Runs, drives and plows.
“Plow yourself out in style. 1953 Willys pickup with hydraulic snowplow operated off engine. F134, 4×4, 3sp trans. Runs and drives great. Handled yesterday’s 10″ of snow on my 400′ of driveway just fine.
Body has a couple welds and dings but overall is very solid. Good candidate for restore or just use as is around the house, farm, or town.”
Here’s a Parkway Conversion Dan found.
“1958 Willys Jeep Wagon with the double rear “barn doors”. Runs and drives. Has excellent tires. One of only 536 made with the barn doors this year. Does have some rust in the body as shown in the photographs. Has a clear Montana title.”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $4300
It’s supposed to have only 7,917 miles on it. This may be worth a look.
“I have a 1955 Willy’s CJ-5 (First year of the CJ-5). Extremely rare find in this condition with only 7,917 original miles. It has been garaged almost it’s entire life. I picked this one up from the original owner and spent some time on it to get it back into driving shape. Now runs and drives, still 6-volt, everything completely stock and original. Even the original paint is in good shape! Have the original owners manual and promo poster to go with it.”
UPDATE: Sold. Was priced at $19,000.
“1952 M38 Ser.#65578 Original 24 volt, water fording, condition with added: Tow Bar, M-1 rifle rack, radio and overdrive.”
The seller notes there are no dents, yet it looks to me like there is a dent in the front driver’s corner. This lacks windshield wipers, too.
“FOR SALE ; 1958 WILLYS JEEP FC 150 PICKUP ,ORIGINAL CONDITION , 4CYL ,3 SPD,4WHEEL DRIVE,NEW BRAKES AND TIRES,VERY LITTLE RUST, NO DENTS,DRIVERS DOOR GLASS CRACKED , RUNS AND DRIVES GOOD.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3450
(08/02/2012) “VERY good body!! No cracks in windshield and back glass, and as you can see… original tailgate stenciling is still alive and well! Even has an original equipment, “kerosene flair & flag kit!!” How cool is that?!? Engine (Original) has been started but will need a rebuild. If you’re not in the mood to rebuild… A perfect engine swap is the 60 degree V-6 Chev found in S-10 pick-ups and others.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
There seems to be value here. Engine runs, cab looks good, and there are extra body parts.
“1957 Willy’s Jeep CJ5 with plow.
Engine runs great, does not leak oil, drive train in good condition, brakes need some attention.
This was stored in a barn for many years. Converted to 12V starts right up and runs great, could use a new starter drive.
F head 134 engine, lock out hubs. Body has rust but not that bad for a 57. I have new rear body panels that will go with it. No title, will sell with bill of sale.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4200
“This FC-150 has the engine and transmission out, and is ready for the re-power of your choice. Or, if desired you could easily find an original engine. The engine mounts have not been cut out. It comes with the original T-90 3 spd and T-case. It has an electric hydraulic dump bed.
This is the nicest FC-150 Body I’ve seen in the past 20 years, with all the cab corners in good shape. There is a small amount of rust through in the driver’s floor. And rust repair is needed along the front of the cab above the bumper, as you can see in the photo. The engine cover has been modified, and is ready for you to finish. A SBC was planned, but not finished, two owners ago.”
This looks real nice, but some of the decisions surprise me, such as not having the transmission plate cover installed.
“Vin # CJ2A63505. This Willy’s is in excellent condition and the under carriage looks as good as the rest of the Jeep. The restoration was done about 8 years ago by the previous owner who lived in California. The original engine has been replaced with a 1970’s 231 odd fire V6 Buick engine. Since the restoration it has only had about 200 miles put on it. This Willy’s has an all steel body not aluminum or fiberglass knock off.”
It runs and has a new winch. The body appears rusty.
“Running Willy’s. Runs great. Drives great. Stops great. 3145688649 call or text email no trades cash only 12000 lb winch and new battery”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $23,500.
(10/02/2012) Dan spotted this beautiful wagon, but it’s not cheap.
“Rare 6 Cyl “Tornado” OHC Engine, 63k miles, like new in and out, 2 owners for last 38 yrs, not interested in dealers call only”
UPDATE: Was listed at $7200. **Status Unknown**
This looks in good shape.
“early 50s flat fender M38 military jeep ….excellent body and sheet metal …road worthy drive or show …also have an M38 A1”
The engine doesn’t turn over, but unclear if it spins by hand. The seller will sell it without the engine and tranny for $2000. The body sure does look solid. This even has the metal drain strip under the hood hinge (I have one of these drain pieces if anyone is interested).
“very early cj3a. motor doesn’t turn over and is missing the breather , I will keep the crossover tube in motor picture The body very nice for a georgia car. Stored indoors for decades. a little rust here and there but all in all very straight and complete. would compare to those western cars any day
price. 2,000$ without motor and trans or 2,500$ with motor and trans. bill of sale only, no trades, price firm. respond with telephone number for appointment to see the jeep in austell ga”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
There seems to be value here.
“Pick up 53 Willies Body in good conditon, but needs paint. Needs radiator and front axle, but runs on rear axle. Tires are fair. Has not been registered or driven since 2003. Have pink slip”
