1942 MB Alvadore, OR **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD* Was at $650
For the price it is worth a look. That’s a lot of slats on the hood.
“1942 willies jeep, rough, engine was rebuilt 20 years ago and then project stalled, has been under cover since, i have the title
would be a great summer cruiser when restored
$650 obo”
1960 CJ-5 Dallas, TX **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
This has no title, but it looks pretty good.
“1960 Willy’s Jeep for sale, it is a CJ-5 with an inline 4 Cylinder and three speed on the floor. 4-Wheel Drive works great, hub locks work. I’ve done a lot of work on the jeep but don’t have a place to drive it anymore. It needs to be out in the country. No Title, so it will make a great hunting / ranch vehicle. It’s worth more than i’m asking but have it discounted for the title situation. $2,500 pretty firm.
The jeep runs great, in the past three years i have replaced:
The battery, The fuel pump, The clutch, The brakes, The carburetor, The windshield, The wipers, Spark plugs
The only issues i run into:
You cant down shit to 1st gear. (timing issue in the gear box that only effects a down shift)”
1954 M-170 Canton, MS No Price

1963 CJ-5 Sheridan, MT **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
Vincent spotted this stock CJ-5. It has good restoration potential.
“For sale 1963 cj 5 2 owner jeep. This Jeep has a factory hardtop with the full size doors, so the windows are much bigger and also roll all the way up and down. The body is very straight, only two small rust spots on the tailgate. Just put new fuel tank and sending unit. Also put new fuel pump tuneup and carburetor rebuild. Runs and drives very well. Very rare find!! 4 cylinder 3speed transmission.”
1948 CJ-2A Wilbraham, MA **Status Unknown**
UPDATE: Was on eBay. Status Unknown
The tub isn’t original, but the restoration work looks great.
“This Jeep has recently been completed after a long restoration. The aftermarket replacement body is approx. 25 years old-brand unknown, but fits well, The fenders, hood, windshield frame, and tailgate are OE pieces. The excellent original frame was blasted and painted, the body is painted top and bottom. The entire driveline has been rebuilt professionally (engine, trans, transfer case, axles, and overdrive unit). This Jeep runs and drives as new. The steering is straight and true, the geartrain is quiet, and there are no squeeks or rattles. The only mileage put on it was for setup and testing. It has a reman warn overdrive unit with an un-used PTO attached. I encourage bidders to come see this Willys before bidding, it is an excellent original-type unmodified Jeep.
Here is a list of new and remanufactured parts that have built the Jeep.
New: Belts and hoses, voltage regulator, steering linkage, gauges, tailgate chains, all new braking system, axles and bearings, all 5 Denman 6.00-16 tires with tubes, seat foam and upholstery, Walck’s wiring harness, fuel pump, tail light and reflector, rearview mirror, wiper motor and arm, air filter assembly, brake and fuel lines, and clutch.
Remanufactured: Engine, transmission, transfer case, Warn overdrive, PTO unit, generator, starter, carburetor, and steering gearbox”
1949 CJ-3A Roy, WA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
This CJ-3A looks nicely restored.
“I’ve got a nice original 49 willys cj3a jeep to trade. Frame has been sandblasted and painted, Floors and braces properly replaced with 16 gauge steel and factory mounts.
new stuff includes:
floors
factory braces
fuel tank
fuel pump
alternator
wiring
water pump
gauges
fuel plumbing
brake plumbing
oil lines
seals
military tires (5)
seats
lots of other s**t I can’t remember
included but not pictured is a newer complete top and doors in good condition and a period correct pto winch
I assembled it with mostly stainless hardware. It’s a pretty cool old jeep, It is slow like you would expect from 1940’s technology but it is a fun ride. I want to trade it for a decent Harley big twin bike.I value it at $10,000 I would trade for a really good shovelhead or evo bike. A bobber or chopper style bike would flip my switch. might consider other cool (a rusty pickup or ford taurus etc is not cool) trades if it makes sense. whatcha got?”
1951 CJ-3A Ordway, CO **SOLD**

1960 M-422E1 Atlanta, GA **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
The seller indicates this is an experimental Mighty Mite? I don’t know enough about them.
“This auction is for a very rare M422E1, the general consensus is that only 10 were lengthened by 6” and became the basis for the M422A1. This was referenced by the August 1960 issue of Leatherneck. The article stated that “10 Mighty Mites are being prepared at the Detroit factory for specialized work. “They will have a six-inch longer wheelbase,” Capt. McPherson said, and will be able to handle specific communication gear.” This M422E1 was equipped with a MRC-83 radio (Serial number X1) as indicated by data plate. Also has very rare and fully functioning early tail-gate with built in seats. Jeep starts and runs well, see video on youtube by going to:

1942 GPW Oakland, CA $6,000
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6000.
(01/31/2013) Numbers matching according to the seller, but still plenty of work left.
“1942 Ford GPW war jeep. This is a matching numbers vehicle and therefore considered the best choice for an accurate, period restoration. Matching number Ford GPWs are almost impossible to find, due to the fact that the motor pools would change-out engines as needed and not rebuild and replace the same one.
Also, this is an excellent restoration choice due to the condition. The jeep has not been modified at all, with the exception of the addition of a roll bar, and retains all of the correct parts. Jeeps of this era have usually been modified to an extreme. After the war, bought surplus, they were used on ranches and farms, for hunting and survey work–and in recent decades, extreme off road use. Each brought its own modification.
This rare bird has a body–the tub– in rare un rotted/smashed/chopped up condition. This adds a great deal of value for the final restoration product.
It has not been run in a couple of decades, but was driven until it was parked. The engine turns over easily, without a wrench needed.
What matching numbers means: The frame # and the engine # match. There are no numbers on the bodies of this type, other than the data plate, which unfortunately is gone.
The tires are suitable for rolling around, but it will need a trailer for transport.
This GPW is the one all the serious restorers are looking for. As complete restorations go, it will be easier than most, due to the condition and completeness.
Asking 10K. The price may go down in several months, but for now that’s it, so don’t bother with offers unless you want to go on the waiting list.
Not interested in trades, I need the cash. The truck is near east Oakland, California, across the bay from San Francisco. Please reply via this ad. Can be shown during the week as well as weekends. Please be a nice person, i.e. don’t waste my time if you don’t have the cash.
See the pictures here on the link below for Photobucket.
Have a great day.

1981 Mitsubishi J-54 Hattiesburg, MS **SOLD**
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6900.
This J-54 appears in good shape.
“Up for sale is my 1981 cj3b Diesel J54 from Mitsubishi Heavy industries. Willys sold the license to Mitsubishi in 1953 for them to make a version of their much beloved Cj3b. Mitsubishi in turn, made the Jeeps from 1954 up until August of 1998. Willys on the other hand, stopped making the cj3b in 1965 for the American market. This jeep is in really good shape and it has only 36,000 original miles. The engine is the 2.8l 4dr5 inline 4 cylinder diesel and gets extremely good gas mileage…ive gotten a little over 30mpg since i bought it in 2010. It is the right hand drive like postal jeeps but it is really easy to get used to and kinda fun once you get used to it. The diesel engine is very heavy duty and was used all over the world in these jeeps and in Mitsubishi heavy forklifts. Here are some specs….full time hubs, 24 volt waterproof electrical system, D44 for rear diff and d30 for front diff, good approach and departure angles, gear to gear transfer case with a 2.3 low range and 4.77 differential gearing, no computer, no epa smog devices at all, no catalytic converter, no egr valve, no pcv valve, and no carburetor to adjust. The jeep cranks better than anything that i own and i attribute that to the 24 volt system and the power it throws to spin the starter. I really dont want to sale the jeep but other things are pressing and it is time for someone else to enjoy it.. . more info on craigslist.
