“CALIFORNIA VEHICLE ~ Everything new or rebuilt. FANTASTIC shape. Must see!”
UPDATE: Was a sealed auction. Now priced at $18,000.
“This GPW has been garage kept and is about as rust free as you’ll find. Accompanying the Jeep is an article showing where a similar jeep was presented to Admiral Nimitz by the military at Pearl Harbor so the Jeep in the article matches this one right down the year, make, model and military number on hood. There is no way to verify this so one has to assume it is a clone to commemorate this event. Starts and runs like it should. Has a few cosmetic flaws as you can see in the pics but is mechanically sound. If you would like to make offer but will be unable to attend you may send offer via email. This vehicle does not have a Georgia title so ownership will transfer via bill of sale.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $14,000.
Appears in good shape.
“Selling a real nice older restoration 1943 Willys MB jeep. It runs great and is used in parades and local car shows. I am restoring another vehicle and need the room in my shop. It has a correct original tub, WW2 engine, transmission and transfer case, correct original combat rims, and many other items. It has a clear title with it. It has been converted to 12 volts but comes with correct 6 volt generator and voltage regulator if someone wants to make it back to WW2 era specifications.”
Nice looking wagon.

“For Sale: One of a Kind 1947 Willy’s Jeep (CJ-2A)
This Jeep has been carefully rebuilt from the ground up over 3 years by my father, a retired certified ASEA mechanic. Starting from a sandblasted frame, new-off-shelf (N.O.S) parts were used whenever possible. Every piece has been carefully rebuilt and reassembled – you won’t find a cleaner, or more authentic rebuild of a 1947 Willy’s. Lots of fun to take off-road, or cruise around town with the windshield down. See below for details on each component. Thanks!

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6900.
(11/04/2015) “1958 Willys CJ-3B. Runs great. I replaced transmission with new from Kaiser Willys last year. Clutch was in really good shape so did not replace. Also installed Warn premium locker hubs and did extensive brake work and also rebuilt some of steering. Body is in nice shape with no meaningful rust (body and paint was done by a previous owner). Paint has a few minor flaws. Engine starts and runs well. Tires are excellent condition. Horn is missing, as is emergency brake cable. Cannot validate mileage.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
(10/16/2015) “1947 Restored Willys Jeep CJ2 New battery, new tires. $9500 , firm. In very good condition and handles well on the road. The jeep has been kept in the garage under cover. This jeep also has a top which is gray in color. Priced to sell. ”

Seth forwarded this militarized CJ-2A from Bring-a-Trailer’s website.
“This 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A is a body-off restored example with a 134 CI 4-cylinder engine, 3-speed transmission, and upgrades for safety and highway cruising. It is fitted with seat belts and a roll bar as well as 11” drum brakes and locking hubs in the front and a Warn Overdrive unit to lower engine RPM at speed. Notable features include an original-style canvas top with the frames and bracketry which enable multiple configurations of the top and side curtains, as well as a cool bed-extension option in the rear.”

Pros:

– Clean title.

Cons:
