(12/14/2017) This is a neat jeep. It’s a Navy ordered CJ-5. It appears to have a gov plate attached to the dash. It includes a ventilating windshield. Looks like the passenger rear side has been patched.
“1965 Naval Military Jeep is one of 600 made. Most are not running. This jeep was owned by Russell Dees Military Vehicles and I now own it. I just had Knico engines in Moultrie Ga do the rebuild on this 4cyl engine that has warranty. I had Hayman’s Garage Albany Ga put new clutch, brakes, brake lines, alternator, water pump, radiator, hoses, belts and new gas tank and ignition . The body is in good condition with only a spot of surface rust here and there. Tires are almost new . A rare opportunity to own a collectable part of military history.”

Lots of updates. It’s been over the Rubicon 26 times.
“This is a one if a kind completely built original jeep fully restored, street legal, but Rubicon ready 4×4 classic. I have over $50k invested into this jeep but must sell due to I don’t use it any more. It has been through the Rubicon 26 times and never a dent or a scratch. Hard to believe but this was my baby. Every single thing in this jeep has been completely built or custom fabricated. Too much to list in this list but please call if serious. This jeep will be the most admired on the Trail because there are only so many mint condition 47′ Willey’s Flat fenders left. This hero will only go up in Value. Serious inquireys only.”

“For Sale 1948 Willy’s CJ2a. Recent frame up restoration. Looks and drives good. Ready to hit the trails or run to the store. Converted to 12 volt other than that it is original and stock. New tires. Clean title in my name. Currently registered and insured. Asking $8000.00”

Glenn shared this nicely done truck.
“This has to be the most beautiful Willys Truck I have ever seen, I am listing it for a friend, I went to Cape Cod and picked it up from an elderly gentleman for my friend, when he bought it, so inspected it myself before paying for it. It was garage kept, and only driven occasionally on weekends, and to car shows. It has a small block Chevy, and all the original Willys drivetrain, the truck runs great, as does the 4 wheel drive. The interior is perfect, and the truck has no rust anywhere, it was all red, but we did the black in my shop. Also, a 3” suspension lift and new tires have been added, and mounted on the original Willy wheels.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
(11/26/2017) Looks in good shape.
“1957 Jeep Cj6 Willys. Completely stock. Frame off restoration completed before I owned it. The original Dauntless 134 was completely rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. It runs perfect. Everything works. It drives very nicely. Original 3-speed trans, manual drum brakes and manual steering. Paint is in nice condition. The prep on the paint could have been better and it does have bondo in places. However, it looks really clean. It has a winch on the front and a very nicely built roll cage. If you are looking for a stock CJ-6 that hasn’t been too modified and is not $15,000 this is the jeep for you. They only made 12000 of them in 1957. Super rare Jeep. These are 101″ Wheelbase. So much more room inside and ideal wheelbase for rock crawling. Also comes with a Bestop soft top and doors that has never been installed but seems to be missing a few of the tubes needed. We bought this as a project for my son and we are heading a different direction. May be open to trade for a Toyota pickup.”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $14,900.
(12/11/2017) This looks in great shape.
“1972 rare Jeep CJ6. This Jeep was a true barn find. This survivor was discovered after 31 plus years in storage. I am the 3rd owner and vehicles history is available.
The Jeep currently has 45820 original miles on the original AMC 304 V8 engine. Work I completed to make it operational: complete tune up, new radiator, new fuel tank, new belts and hoses and a good cleaning. The body and frame are solid with minor imperfections in the paint.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
(10/19/2017) Looks like it is a nice restore.

Too much work to list here. ”
Roger’s selling this good looking early CJ-6. Contact him at 805.705.5598 or roger@threecreek.com. I bet there aren’t many CJ-6s left with the rare 0-8 King Seeley Speedometer.

“1958 Willy’s CJ-3B high hood, $15,000 or best offer. Throttle bottle fuel injected 350 with gear drive, T18 4 Speed coupled to Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 44 front and rear axles, warn 30 spline axle shafts, full floating rear end, Detroit locker in the front and ARB air locker in the rear, 488 gears. 33X12.5X15 BFG mud terrain tires, 5×5.5 bolt pattern, spare tire and carrier, on board air, disc brakes all the way around, hydraulic clutch, Black Diamond XCL coil link suspension, Warn 9500 winch, new deep cycle optima, new fuel pumps.

(11/24/2017) Looks nice.
“Mid-year 1947, CJ2A for sale, mostly original components, in good condition, runs and drives well, 4WD works, stays in all gears, not fully restored but well maintained and cleaned up for sale. This Willys jeep has a lot of powder coated piece parts, to include all five wheels, bumpers/cross members, front grille, tailgate, windshield frame, driver and passenger seat frames, passenger side tool box, headlight cans and headlight rings, mirrors, windshield latches, footman loops, gas pedal, brake and clutch pedals, and various covers and plates. I’m still finishing up a few detail items such as welting and felt on the radiator shroud; have new air cleaner on order. Asking $14,500 but will consider any reasonable offer (cash offers only – am NOT interested in trades). Additional pictures are available upon request. The vehicle is legally registered and licensed in Alabama. Does not have title but Alabama (and many other states) does not require a title to register/license a vehicle this old.”

UPDATE: I’ve seen this one all over. It’s a scam.
Tim shared this one. He’s concerned the price is too good to be true. I think it is right on the edge. Proceed with caution. After a few searches, I found the same ad in Portland. I suspect this is a scam.
“Runs well, 3 speed transmission with overdrive. Recently painted, interior and convertible top in good condition. 5 new tires with tubes, the bumpers, hood trim and interior dash trim all have been re-chromed.”

UPDATE II: Clint found the source for these photos. This jeep is actually for sale in Houston, Texas, for $16,995.
UPDATE: This is for sure a scam. I’ve seen listed across the US. According to one reader, “Seller claims they want to deal thru EBAY where you deposit your money and the Jeep with be shipped to you. If you don’t want it , ship it back and your money will be refunded.”

I’m not sure why this has a Surrey top and tire cover? I think it detracts from the vehicle.
