“THIS IS NOT A RUNNING VEHICLE. I have a project that I recently purchased that is just not a good fit for me or my garage right now. It is a 1949 2 Wheel Drive Jeepster by Willy’s. I bought a few months ago after it had sat in dry storage for a number of years. It looks like a mid 80’s restoration to me. The body is in remarkable condition and the vehicles is for the most part 100% complete (I threw away the top). It was originally a Butternut yellow color. The current paint is passable as driver quality. The running gear is a 1973 Buick 350 and matching bop transmission, the original rearend is still in the vehicle.There is a nice Ron Franicis wiring harness installed complete. The engine is out on a stand and needs rebuilt or go the SBC route. I curently have the front sheetmetal off and stored, there is no radiator. All of that said this a really fun vehicle that would be great with a little work as a driver or do a complete restoration. I am not selling because I need the money and the price is reasonalbly firm. I am however very open to trades which might include: 68-72 Nova, second gen camaro or other muscle cars,”

(02/29/2012) If the body is good this might be worth a look.  It needs a fuel pump and tires at the very least.

“90% Original 1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A with all the original brass plaques in place
Has been converted to 12 volt but otherwise is in original condition with flathead 4 cylinder.  I put new points, rotor, distributor cap, and condensor in last fall and got it running but it needs a fuel pump which I have but never installed

All tires are dry rotted but all hold air and have for over 3 years. Needs brake master cylinder installed that I also have and goes with it”

“What you are looking at is an original restored 1943 WWII Ford GPW Jeep. These have become quite rare. Nearly all parts are “F marked” from the factory all the way down to almost every bolt! This Jeep is nearly complete from top to bottom and is mainly all original and factory stock. All that you see on the Jeep goes with the Jeep. The body is in very good condition. The front floor has been replaced along with all the hat channels and the fuel tank well. The bottom of the floor and top of the floor has been coated in bed liner to protect the metal and the hat channels are made from galvanized steel. The transmission Is a T90 and was installed with care. For a 69 year old vehicle, this Jeep looks great and is ready for you to hop in a go. The engine has been overhauled, brakes reworked, and all the electrical replaced. The engine runs perfectly with no miss or no smoke! It could use new tires, but drives good as is. The Body and Frame are number matching! The Jeep has a clear title! Sold as is.

“This is a very nice 1948 Jeep Cj-2A restored in military configuration. The Jeep always starts right up and runs great. It is in excellent condition. I have used it for many years to run up and down the hill at my boating cabin. I have thrown a lot of stuff in the bed and you can see some old blue paint through scratches. It is very rust free an has excellent floor pans. It has newer military tires that look great. I have clean title. Absolutely no trades, please don’t ask!”

The seller turned this into a M-606 clone.

“This is a CJ3B/M606 clone.  This unit ran so fine that I cnverted it to my militay hobby of Jeeps.  All parts replaced are new, including the wiring harness and any needed parts.  The milage is unknown and I installed all new spedometer and guages.  Everything is as close as possible to the original military version.

New brakes, Steering wheel, guages, lights, clutch, etc.  Too many items to list.  Feel free to contact me for details.  A vintage military radio of the Korean war era will be a gift as is, if desired. STORY BEHIND THIS LITTLE JEEPMy buddy is the second owner of the Willys, it’s been in his family since 1967. His dad bought her from a neighbors wife after the original owner passed away. Most of the modifications were done in the 60’s, she’s all original steel and been kept in that 60’s style. The springs and shocks have been upgraded and motor was rebuilt about 5 years ago, the 5k miles is original to the motor and the speedo reflects it. The paint looks very good, there is a few scratches where your feet drag getting in. The body seams were all welded properly, not just covered up and there has never been any body rust. The most off road she’s seen is Deer Hunting, so mainly Forrest type roads and never been wrecked. It’s a great little rig that would make a cool daily driver or weekender.”
