I’m a bit puzzled by the way that winch is mounted on the back of the body. That is a mini winch, yes? Looks like a solid jeep though.

“Beautiful Willys jeep with a rebuilt 283 engine with less then 50 miles on it. The jeep also has new tires with less then 50 miles, in addition it has anew soft top and doors still in the box. The jeep is in pristine condition, and very clean, it shows no signs of rust. I wish I could keep the jeep, but with a new baby in the family I need a family vehicle. I am set on the price and would rather keep it then budge off the asking price.”
This looks like a solid jeep for the price.
“Good running jeep.stock 4 cylinder engine. no leaks and no rust. Ca title. will take part trade on something I can use. respond with a phone number and I will get back to you”
UPDATE: Was $12,900. **SOLD**
This looks like it has gone through a frame-off restoration. Not totally restored to original condition though.
“Better than New.
Total Frame Off Restoration”
The paint job on this is unusual. The cammo even extends across the headlights. But the inside of this looks quite nice. The jeep may be in good shape.
“Call 906-341-3582 or e-mail for more info. Nice old jeep. Great shape.”
Looks like a fair price for the combo.

(10/18/2011) Looks in great shape, though I’m thinking painting it green will help sell it.
“hate to part with my baby, but I never use it anymore. Here it is. Time for someone else to fill it with kids for the parade, and to climb the hills and mountains with a rifle or camera in the rack.

This is worth a closer look. It has a nicely aged patina to it. As long as it runs and drives, I’m not sure I’d want to do much more to it.

Alex spotted an article about eMBs. The Electric MB is supposed to be made to order and cost 755.000 PhP, which is about $18,500. I did not see the electric jeep listed at MD Juan’s website, though I didn’t do an exhaustive search.
According to this excerpt from the article, “the [electric] Willy’s MB which will be powered by a 4-kilowatt, 48-volt electric motor deriving energy from eight units 6-volt batteries. Its manufacturer – MD Juan Enterprises – calls it the eMB.
The new model of the vintage MacArthur jeep, the latest product of MD Juan Enterprises and PhUV, Inc., made it debut last week at the Philippine Die and Mould Association exhibit at the World Trade Center. The body of the electric MB was made using locally-made dies and moulds and manufactured in MD Juan’s stamping plant.”
Here’s the official press release from MD Juan.

“I have for sale an all original 1956 Jeep Cj3b it is in very good condition for its age. It has never been restored and is all original. I have been collecting jeeps a long time and this is one of the closest to original jeeps I have ever seen. I have owned it over a year now and drive it about twice a week. It is currently tagged and insured. It is also one of the most well documented jeeps I have come accross It has all the receipts for everything ever purchased for maintnance on it. I also have the original invoice and title from 1956 where it was purchased new in atlanta for a little over 1700.00 You will not find a better jeep for a restoration as there is little to no rust. The engine and electrical is still all 6 volt. It runs very well and can be driven anywhere. Top speed is around 55-60 Mph. Tires are in good shape. Top and doors are also in good shape and have no rips or tears. Price is firm you can email me for any ?’s”
