Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The bumpers sure are different.

The body appears to have a little damage on the front driver’s corner, but otherwise looks solid.
“Up for sale is this rare Jeep FC-150 truck. This vehicle I extremely rare, and a great project for anyone with creativity, and time. The amount of things that can be done to a unique car like this, are infinite. I no longer have the time to invest in this truck however. The Engine still runs strong, and the transmission, and 4×4 work surprisingly well. I registered the car last year and then non oped it when I realized I was not going to move it anytime soon, so you do not need to worry about ridiculous backed up fees. The car does need work as it is a project, but it is definitely a good start. There is significant rust, but it is a 65 year old car so that is expected. What needs attention at the moment to get it running appropriately are the brakes and a battery, but other than that there is nothing necessary to make it a movable car. Like stated the 4×4 works well also. The lights work fine as well. I will include original seats that I bought separately.”

“1967 Willys Jeep CJ-6 Universal. This jeep is one of the rarest jeeps made in modern history. It is 20″ longer than a CJ-5 and is the predecessor to the CJ-8 Scrambler. This jeep came with the Dauntless V-6, which is a Buick design that GM sold to Willys, so 3.8 Buick parts will work on this motor. The vehicle has 24k original miles and has a three speed transmission, backed by a t-18 warn transfer case. The jeep has a 2″ lift with warn locking hubs. I still have the following items:

The truck is complete, as the seller suggests, but it looks solid. Dan spotted this one.

“L6-226 Flathead, driveline is original with the exception of 12v conversion and electronic fuel pump, Koenig PTO winch (need driveshaft for winch), Warn overdrive, Warn front locking hubs, wagon is 99% all original, interior still has wood slats, Willys floor rubber, all seats, headliner, etc, Willys stamped rear bumper, all chrome molding, lettering and grille slats, etc. I am the 4th owner of the Wagon. I have the original manuals and a pretty good paperwork trail for the history of the wagon. If interested shoot me an email and we can discuss further.

converted to 12V with new alternator. completely rewired. Engine runs good has 60 pounds oil pressure. seats are very good and clean. new wiper motor. painter with automotive acrylic urethane finish.

Need that excuse to visit the Virgin Islands? Here it is. A CJ-3B marooned on a remote island just waiting for you to save it! If you do go, rent a boat and head to the British Virgin Islands and visit Virgin Gorda to swim and climb amongst the boulders. When I visited in 1987 only 2 other people were there; we ran the boat onto the soft sand beach and started swimming. I think I need to return with Ann . . .
“1954 willys cj3b. titled as same. 4.3 v6 chevy, th700, dana 300 t case w/split shift, all autometer inst., custom interior, dana 44 front with arb locker, dana 44 r. 2 1/2 rancho lift, sits on 32×11.5×15 stainless exhaust. Awesome jeep, lots of custom work, lots of recipts, but needs cosmetic work. The asshole I sold it to parked it under a tree for 3 years and it suffered. “FOR SALE is his 1941 Ford GP “PROTOTYPE” jeep that has been restored by him. The jeep has many original parts but also has some reproduction items. The engine is a GP engine but is missing the (holy grail) carburetor. The air cleaner is a reproduction. This jeep runs well and looks very very good.”

This runs. Looks in pretty good shape, but does need some work.
“Runs good…..needs some work; “like all old jeeps.” To make street ready; need to fix tail lights.
For the most part this is original with a few exceptions; 12 volt conversion, new manifolds, larger fuel tank, added roll bar.
Low rust, however the windshield does have a poor rusted arm that was sent for repair. I was not happy with the repair and the shop also cracked one side of the glass.
I purchased this jeep from a person who had it stored in his garage for several years. I did license the jeep and took it for short drives to the grocery store. I just do not have the storage for this jeep.”
