UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
Looks in good shape.
“Great 1955 M38A1 – owned it for just over a year and in that time have significantly improved the drivability and reliability of it. It is still 100% original, down to it’s 24volt system. 4 wheel drive will climb you up a tree. Runs and drives well, and feels like a 58yr old Jeep! Would be an ideal beach buggy(didn’t get a permit this year, or it would be!).
Most recent work includes:
Head completely reworked, new coil, new plugs, valves adjusted, etc.
Cosmetically it’s in great shape – especially considering it’s age. No significant rust, some surface rust on the frame – no big deal. I decided to have it repainted from it’s original OD Green to a mil-spec Sand Beige (a 3 stage PPG color). I’d say it’s a level above an amateur job, but certainly a 10 footer. A fantastic color though, one that you don’t see enough for this era of Jeep: hence why I had it repainted. The seats were also redone to factory original. Bimini too included.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
“1952 Willys Jeep. M38 body stretched 10 in. with an MB grill
This jeep was hand built using an International scout frame
shortened to a 97 inch wheel base. The Scout frame is a very sturdy boxed frame. It looks good from far away.
“I am selling my 1957 Willys Jeep pick up. I have had it for several years and I cannot find the time to restore it to it’s original condition. The engine is a six cylinder Super Hurricane that runs and holds good oil pressure. It has a 6 volt electrical system, all of the light wiring needs to be replaced. The drive train works as it should although some of the linkages could use some grease. If this is something you are interested please make me a reasonable offer.”

Nice looking restoration. Here’s some information about the super jeep:
http://www.superjeep.com/Folklore/folklore.html
(Note, you might remember the old site as superjeep.info. Bruce updated that to superjeep.com)
“This is a very rare authentic 1973 Jeep CJ-5 “Super Jeep.” It has been meticulously restored to original specifications and details. It has its original factory issued 304 V8 with power steering and power brakes. These were rare options at the time this model was produced. Most of the Super Jeeps had 258 6 cylinder engines with manual steering and brakes. It was last registered and inspected in August of 2012 and still continues to run and drive great.
There is not a lot of information available on the Super Jeep other than the copies of a few articles written about them at the time, They were only manufactured for one year in 1973 and it is rumored that only a few hundred of the models were made.
Everything works besides the gas and oil pressure gauge. I’m not sure why but the previous owner reset the odometer during restoration so the actual mileage of the Jeep is unknown. Since the restoration, 420 miles have been put on it. The Jeep does not have a roof, and the original style white soft top is almost impossible to find. However, there are many aftermarket soft tops that can be fitted for this CJ-5.”
Nice 2A.
“1948 CJ2A Jeep for sale. My dad bought this jeep in 48 and I still have the “bill of sale” for it. It has 28xxx miles on it and the motor and drive train have not been worked on. It is in original condition and is rust free. I replaced the tires, seats, top, exhaust system, and repainted it. I am asking $15.500 or B.O.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,000.
(06/21/2014) Nice looking truck.
“This is a 1958 Willys truck that was built around 2001 it has a small block chevy engine, th350 automatic transmission, three link ladder bar rear end, mustang ll front suspension with power rack and pinion steering, aluminum tilt steering column, A/C, flowmaster exhaust, lokar shifter, new tires and wheels, and just too much to list here without forgetting something a serious buyer can call for more information. I drive the truck about once a week it runs and drives great and attracts a lot of attention. The paint cleans up real good as you can see but it is old and has scratches chips dings touch ups and imperfections and really could use a respray but it is a driver and not a perfect show truck. I do not need help selling the truck I am not desperate to sell the truck just looking to fund a new project. NO PAYPAL, NO TEXT, NO EMAIL, NO CHECKS, NO LOWBALLERS. If you are a serious potential buyer you can call me and make an offer or set an appointment to see it. 17,000 O.B.O.”
