UPDATE:  Was $13,500. **Status Unknown**

It’s a solid looking M-38 with very little rust. I know the seller just washed this just before taking these photos. I don’t understand letting water sit in the jockey box underneath the seat and a few other rust prone places shown in the photos?

“1951 M38 Army Jeep – Original Condition – Runs and Drives – RUST FREE!
Has Current Title

This has to be the best M38 I have ever owned. Body is rust free and very straight. I have done a few things to this M38 to get it back on the road but without messing with its original condition. The following have been done for drivability and safety. 1. New brake shoes and wheel cylinders. 2. New rubber and S-shaped metal brake lines. 4. NOS master cylinder 5. New fuel sending unit (correct M38 one). 6. Complete wash of vehicle to remove about 1/2” of dust and other stuff that had accumulated on the M38 over the years of being in storage.

1964 FC-170 Flanagan, IL $28,000

• CATEGORIES: FC150-FC170-M677 • TAGS: , This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE Price dropped to $28,000.

Up for auction is a very rare (1 of 1,119) 1964 Kaiser Jeep Forward Control 170 3/4 ton pickup truck. 1964 was the last year of production for the FC-170 and the end of the Kaiser/Jeep era. This could be your only chance to ever buy a fully restored FC-170, no kidding they are that rare.

This Jeep was fully restored by a professional shop in 2010, not some father son project in a back yard. The attention to detail speaks to this fact. Since restoration the Jeep has accumulated approximately 1000 proven miles.

The Jeep was restored to original with a few modern upgrades. The seats are a bucket type that are fully adjustable. Custom 33 gallon fuel tank with stainless steel filler neck. Custom made rear bumper with built in LED tail lights. LED side marker lights. Two storage lids were fabricated behind the seats to cover the battery and a storage area. Engine will run on unleaded fuel.

The teal green is the original color as is the white grill and white wheels. An additional pin stripe was added around the white accent.

The front winch bumper was most likely a dealer add on. It has a Ramsey 8000 lbs PTO driven winch with 50′ of cable.

Engine and transmission were fully rebuilt and hardened valve seats were added to the engine so unleaded fuel can be used.

Completely Stock original 2WD 1959 Willys Wagon. The truck is complete and the stock motor has been professionally rebuilt. It is originally from Georgia and rot is present only under the accelerator pedal and the tailgate hinge. The rest of the truck is rust free. This is a very restorable vehicle and is difficult to find in such original and complete condition (vacuum wipers, owners manual, service manual, spare gas can, spare tire hub cap, etc. The photos show the trim missing, but I have it. It has been garaged for the last 20 years. Buyer to make pick up arrangements.”

1962 Wagon Mesa, AZ **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Willys Wagons • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $6000

This wagon has an updated motor.

1962 Willys Wagon with a Chevy 307 V8 engine matched to the original 4 x 4 drive train with lockout hubs. Manual 3 speed transmission . Remember that these transmissions do not have syncro’s for first gear and you must come to almost a complete stop before shifting down to first gear. The drive train is in good condition and the vehicle runs & drives well with manual steering. The 307 engine was recently remounted with custom engine mounts, the Quadrajet 4 barrel carb was rebuilt, the distributor was fitted with a pertronix type system to eliminate the need to replace points and new dual exhausts from the engine to the rear . The Willys also has a new generator and battery–(12 volt system). The battery was moved to the rear of the vehicle and installed in a new battery box. The interior is in decent shape with nicely upholstered seats and camao side panels & head liner. It also has a recently replaced speedometer (overall mileage is unknown). The windshield wipers work but not the turn signals. The exterior is in need of restoration. The frame has typical surface rust but no rust through issues. The body was redone at some point and needs repair–no big dents or rust holes but does have bondo issues (cracks and signs of a poor job in the past). There are obviously dings & scratches here & there. The bumpers need to be straightened and re-plated. Tires are in good shape. This is not a show vehicle but could be a daily driver or hunting/camping vehicle with off road capabilities. I have tried to be as informative as I can. “

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.

1951-m38-steve21

1951-m38-steve22

“Take a look at this completely rebuilt beautiful 1951 Willys M38 Army Jeep.

This jeep was rescued from a gentleman in North Jersey in 2013. He had begun to restore the jeep but got in over his head. I purchased it and it underwent a frame off rebuild.

I’ve owned over thirty flat fender jeeps and have restored approx. 25 of them and have sold them successfuly on e-Bay. This Jeep had an excellent 1951 M38 frame and drive train including a correct MC marked engine. The engine was professionally rebuilt by Sigafoos Rebuilders in Easton, PA. The tranny was rebuilt by me and the transfer case and axles have had new seals, bearings, and fluids as needed.

Everything has been gone through on this jeep and everthing has been sand blasted, cleaned, repainted, or replaced with new, NOS, or repro parts.

Chassis and Drive Train: new leaf springs front and rear, new shackles, new shocks, new axle bumpers, frame stripped/blasted and painted, new front bumper, new rear crossmember, new clutch and bearing, new seals and bearings on tranny(rebuilt) and transfer case which were drained and cleaned repainted, and all fluids and gaskets replaced, new e-brake pads, hardware, and cable, new engine/tranny mounts, new brakes including all shoes, lines and hoses, new master cylinder, four new wheel cylinders. Rebuilt steering box and drag link and original steering wheel, original rear bumperettes, original pintle hook. 4 new STA 7.00×16 NDCC tires and an authentic original Goodyear spare tire – all on 16″ original rims.

Engine: Completely professionally rebuilt. professionally rebuilt civilian WO Carter Carb, new civilian fuel pump, rebuilt manifolds and new gaskets, new 12 volt alternator, new period correct wiring(not military), new battery, new hoses, new fan belt, new 180 degree t-stat, new temp. gauge, new ammeter, new fuel gauge and sender, new fuel lines, new plugs and wires. Radiator professionally tanked/cleaned repaired and painted.

Body: Authentic Willys M38 body; original tub, fenders, grill, windshield including glass with new rubber seal, reproduction hood and tailgate, original front seat frames with repro rear seat frame, new fuel tank, original top bows, new brackets and hardware, new canvas top and seat covers (All canvas is Beachwood canvas), repro. shovel and axe, original correct dated gas can, rebuilt authentic drive blackout light and new grill blackout lights, rebuilt headlights and NOS tail-lights, new dashboard data plates, original body serial number tag.

Misc: Vehicle is wired for 12V civilian use, all new gauges, including speedometer, all lights, all new switches work properly (except brand new military style light switch is not connected to the new wiring- a new modern fused two pull switch is connected to new wiring.) . Water fording system was not installed. Jeep has proper vacuum windshield wipers installled and working.

Vehicle includes the pioneer tools(shovel and axe). Vehicle Does not have a title. Mileage is unknown, but regardless of odometer reading (approx. 0 miles) this Jeep is better than motor pool, almost like it just came off the assembly line.

The only thing left to do with this vehicle is have fun driving it and possibly outfit it with some Korean War Era paraphernalia.”

(08/05/2014) Make sure to put “Cab Over” in the subject line of the email to help seller weed out spam emails.

Please read entire ad before responding.
1959 Willys Jeep “Forward Control”, FC-150, Deluxe Cab over engine, 4×4. All original and always stored indoors.
Runs, drives and stops well for 55 year old vehicle. New carb. kit, installed. New fuel tank and sending unit installed. All fluids changed. Good windshield. Door glass and rear glass are cracked but good for templates or drive as is. Flat glass can be replaced by most local glass shops. Cab corners in good shape. All interior parts are there, including dog house, rare glove box and has new seat covers installed.
These vehicles are rare to find in this condition, anywhere, in the Midwest.
It is NOT a rust bucket, NOT a parts truck.
All frame, tailgate and sheet metal in great shape. No rust or rot.
A classic vehicle not seen often these days.
I DON’T NEED to sell it and I, sure, DON’T need any help to do so.
I know what these are worth so save us both some time and don’t attempt a low ball offer, not going to happen. I’ll just keep it.
It’s a cool old truck! It needs to be driven and I don’t have the time.
Local pick up only, will not ship. Have your money in hand. I have title in hand and it is current on registration. Registered in Iowa as “Antique”, includes perfect, vintage Y.O.M. (1959) Iowa, “Iowa County” (48), plates to drive with legally.
Can e-mail pictures, etc.
Include “Cab Over” in subject or it will be deleted due to scammers.
