Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Restored Willys Jeep cj3a. Has a Ford – 289 V8 engine, dual exhaust.
Color is tan, with black seats. Sold as is. Odometer reads 1,300, but that is not correct. Still registered in Oregon where I bought it, but vehicle located in Carlsbad along with “clear” Title.“

“I purchased this Jeep in 1991 when I found it. It was being used by a developer to get his clients to property that could not be reached by normal transportation. The Jeep has a full meyers hardtop and doors with the ambulance style rear hatch. It is also equipped with a 304 V8 with a T-18 4 speed granny 1st gear and a model Dana 20 transfer case paired with a Dana 44 rear axel. The Jeep had 47,000 miles when I purchased it, as it sits now it has 81,380 miles. The Jeep has never had any rust on it at all. As far as upgrades, it only has a 2.5″ lift and mastercraft seats along with a set of centerline hellcat wheels and nitto M/T tires. We upgraded the ignition system to electronic and put a intake & 4 barrel carb on it. It has headers with dual exhaust matched with flowmaster mufflers. The paint color is from a 1995 wrangler and is called Moss Green, this Jeep has been garage kept since 1991. Along with the Meyers hartop, this jeep is equipped with the 304 V8 and T-18 being 1 of 131 built.”

“1961 willys for sale. 4×4 new clutch and exhaust . Original super hurricane 6cyl engine.
Runs but needs new bearings in the engine. New floor pans and fairly straight body . Have a tbi Chevy 350 engine that could be installed at an extra cost at our shop.”

It has a tilt steering wheel, stainless steel front bumper, new electric wipers, power steering, good motor, transmission and transfer case, Solex carburetor, custom seats, new wheels and tires, new battery (12 Volt system), new springs and shackles, new wiring and alternator, new Best Top. This jeep is in excellent condition.”

“v6 buick engine, front winch, rag top[new], good tires good condition. Red with black top. Only two owners, brother in law, and myself. No rot, never driven on salted roads. Has always been garaged. “1956 Willys 1 Ton pickup truck ( the only year with this grill slot combination), sits on BF Goodrich Mud terrain 37”x12.5×17. With a bit of body lift, this beast would clear the 42″ Swampers / TSL / Irock or Pitbull tires. Was fully restored 8 years ago & made to haul a 5th wheel across Canada, with a 6.2 GM diesel & new ton housing. 4WD Automatic.
Has the original tail gate with the Stamp Willy logo, these are getting rare… Everything works & ready to go on the road.

“Hunters and outdoors man heads up on a great flat fender Willy’s Jeep. Motor 283 Chevy small block, 4 speed aluminum transmission, bikini soft top, original windshield, tail gait, running gear, axles, transfer case, under seat fuel tank, even has the original bill of sale from 1948. Lots of original parts come with it. Fiberglass removable hood, 33-1250 tires, light bar, and tow bar. Ran in the Big Nasty a few years back and placed 6th. Set up for climbing or off road, has 4 point racing seats and bench, full role cage. This is a goat and will climb more than it should. Has been in some extreme places and preformed like you would expect an old Willy’s to. Won’t last long so jump on it while it is still being offered. Only reason I am selling is we have 2 of them and this is the one I chose to sell.
Would consider trades for combinations of Cash along with 4 wheeler/ATV’s kids and adults, 250 4 stoke dirt bike, Tractor, Backhoe or large RV Camper with Bunk Beds and preferably a slide out. Or other outdoor toys of equal value, what do you have?”

“This is a rare Willys M38A1 Marine Corp Radio Jeep. A limited quantity of these vehicles produced with this radio setup. The radio is still in the dash.
The body of the Jeep is in very good condition. There is some minor rust spots on the hat channels. The Jeep is in good running condition. It is still 24 volt and all original under the hood, has a new canvas top and canvas seats and is road worthy ready.
This vehicle did not receive a show restoration, but it is a great driver. This is a turn key and drive away Jeep. If you are looking for a get in and go Jeep then this is the one for you.

(10/10/2013) The entry points of the body have been altered a little.
“1951 willys jeep, 283 sbc,sm 420 four speed,dana 18 transfer case and Warn over drive. New drive lines new u joints,wiring,windshield. New Mickey Thompson mtz 35×12.50r15 Mickey Thompsom classic 15×10 wheels, new four inch sky jacker suspension shocks and leafs. Power steering and front disk brakes. Dana 44 in the rear and Dana 30 in the front. Aluminum radiator, Kenwood stereo,amp and Fozgate speakers, seats redone new carpet. Willys was a total frame off resto. I have maybe 300 hundred miles on it, haven’t even changed the break in oil yet. I’m sure there is stuff I’ve left out, askin 10,000.00 and open to trades what do you have. ”

“For sale is a 1957 Willys 4X4 Station Wagon in excellent condition. We have done a complete overhaul on this vehicle, just short of a frame off restoration. The 226 Super Hurricane engine was rebuilt, the transmission was rebuilt, new paint job (interior and exterior), the seats were reupholstered and a new headliner installed, the bumpers were re-chromed, the oak strips were refinished, a new clutch was installed, floor mats are new, and too many other upgrades to mention”

(10/07/2014) Looks solid. Seller believes the jeep was built in 1945, though it seems to be missing the column shift and a couple other items. It does have full floating rear hubs.
