(05/26/2013) “This 1954 Willys M38-A1 Jeep (Korean war era) was completely restored a few years ago to nearly like-new condition in olive drab with matching canvas upholstery and top. Attention to detail throughout. Extra clean frame, no rust, this jeep is a true eye catcher and a lot of fun to drive around town. Complete engine tune-up done approximately 12 months ago. Engine runs very strong on 4×4 or 4×2. This jeep drives very well, as a correctly restored and mechanically sorted 1/4-Ton 4×4 should. It has all the right military jeep stuff, including decals, combat lights, jerry can and spare. Door safety straps and reproduction of the original maintenance and operation manual are included. The Jeep has a clean California title.”

“I have for sale my 1967 CJ6 half cab. It was a frame off restoration, however, paint color and half cab is not original to the jeep. A lot of new and rebuilt part. Original drivetrain; Dauntless V6 engine with rebuilt T86 transmission and T18 transfer case. Dana 27 front axle, Dana 44 rear. All new steering linkage with rebuilt Ross steering box. “Up for sale is my fully restored and customized CJ5. I am the second owner of this Jeep, it was purchased by my Grandfather in 1966, I got it in 1998. He and I finished the frame off restoration in 2001 where we stretched it 20 inches to 101 inch wheel base (CJ6). This is a trail Jeep, not a crawler, but will go virtually anywhere you point it if you know what you’re doing. Rebuilt the Dauntless V6, T86 3 speed and Dana 18 xsfer case. Custom list is far too long but here are a few items; 4 inch lift, shackle reverse kit, msd offroad digital ignition, Holley 2 barrel carb kit, custom dash with autometer gauges, tilt steering, dana 30 front end swap W/ disc brakes, 11 inch drum kit in rear, completely hydraulic brake system with manual proportioning valve and OR racing master cylinder, completely new Painless wiring system with fuse box, AGR power steering system, Upgraded headlights, off road lights, rear tire carrier. “This is a hybrid Willys CJ2A body and chassis, with an MB front end, with correct military accessories, and correct WWII Olive Drab green paint, made to match that of the WWII Willy’s MB. Ready to drive. It cold starts first try every time, runs smooth and drives straight. Converted to 12 Volt system. 4 wheel drive is fully operational. 8,000 miles on original 4 cylinder L head Go-Devil engine. 3 speed – T-90 Transmission. 5 brand new military style tires. Always garaged. The body has been restored, minor rust on frame. Includes PTO winch on front end, which is operational but does not have a cable. Comes with authentic soft top from a Ford GPW. Locations of choke and throttle do not match that of an MB, but can be moved to correct locations. Includes spare cylinder head, all gaskets necessary for an engine overhaul, brand new spare Solex Carburetor, new spare intake and exhaust manifolds and gaskets. “This is not a show vehicle but a solid reliable daily driver. I have had the truck for about 13 years. It was originally licensed in Colorado and when I purchased it in Cincinnati it was in original condition but not drivable. It had been repowered probably in the late 60s early 70s with a 1956 Ford Y-block V-8, a not uncommon repower choice in those days. I changed the distributor, plugs and oil and have driven it about 20,000 miles since.
The drive train is original: Dana front/rear axels (front lockout hubs)
T-90 trans/T-18 transfer case rebuilt
Overdrive Warn aftermarket rebuilt
Brakes original/rebuilt
The electrical system is 12v, alternator with new wiring. Paint and Rhino liner new in 2003”

This M-677 has been crossed with a 2006 Mitsubishi truck chassis.
“You are looking at a One of a kind 1964 Jeep setting on a 2006 Mitsubishi chassis with a 4 cylinder Turbo engine with 16,000 original miles and automatic transmission!!Yep, you read that right!! This is a 1964 Jeep, forward control M-677 Truck……she is sitting on a super straight frame that can be easily stretched. It is set up to haul a 5th wheel with its 8 foot western hauler bed, has an electric wench on the front, Tilt cab, cruise control, tilt wheel, ice cold air, a stereo system and even has reclining seats!!
The original Mitsubishi instruments and wiring were used during the construction. It was then taken to the local Mitsubishi dealer and checked to make sure everything was like it was supposed to be. It is titled as a 64 Jeep so the taxes and registration are a lot less than a 2006 Mitsubishi. She can do it all!! We are selling this vehicle for a customer who custom built this beauty. He informs me that he had close to $45,000 in the truck when he finished it. It would be a super truck to put a roll back bed, or a ramp car hauler bed on. Dana 44s front and rear, 4.88gears spool in the rear, detroit true track in front, on 35in wrangler MTRs. Warn rear bumper with a custom swing gate on it with a full size spare Full auto meter gauge set including speedometer. Full roll cage 6 point to the frame, not to the body. This Jeep is ready for the trail right now! Has been on the Rubicon trail several times, a well as the Fordyce trail. I am 6 foot tall and can be in the Jeep all day and be very comfortable. “I’ve got a mostly original Willys M38a1. Very good condition and always kept in the garage. Great for cruising around town and I always get complimen’s when filling it up. Runs and drives great, but I don’t get the chance to drive it much anymore. It’s got the 4 cylinder engine with the 3 speed manual and twin stick 4×4 transfer case.
Backseat, and all buckles, and about 75% tread on the tires.
12 volt conversion.
It has the blackout light, but is not hooked up.
Missing the emergency brake cable.
Shifts smooth, but you have to double clutch from first to second. It’s done that since I got it, I’ve never fixed it because it doesn’t bother me. Does not grind. Might be a good winter project for somebody with more time, or just do what I did!
Engine rebuilt by a professional shop, I have the receipts. It does drip a little oil though, nothing major.
The odometer reads 1,876.

“1946 Willys Jeep. Original flathead four-cylinder engine, manual transmission, manual steering and brakes. It has been converted to 12V electronics. The engine was recently rebuilt and a lot of the wiring has been redone. The jeep comes with two sets of tires. One set is for Highway/rode use. The other set is for off-road use. This is a great little Jeep with a clear Arizona title. Come drive it home.”

(02/10/2015) Sounds like this might have some interesting history.
“Up for sale is my 1943 Willys MB army jeep. It was motor pool refurbished by a WWII veteran and friends. I bought it from his son after he passed on. When I bought it I cleaned the fuel tank and lines and installed a new fuel pump. It runs okay but the engine needs a tune up. Brakes work good. Transmission runs quietly, but shifts poorly from 1st to second, and back. Tub was rusty but repaired. Needs new wiring, and generator rebuilt. Lights don’t work. Have speedometer and other gauges, but aren’t in great shape. Needs shocks. Comes with new NDT tires. Also have 5 combat wheels that go with it. This jeep has lots of extras. Clear open title. Reenactment quality. $12,500. I like to trade, but don’t ask unless you have a delorean or clean jeep wrangler /sahara that is paid for. Price is firm, I don’t have to sell. Don’t need a job, or help selling it. As always, local pickup and cash only. Serious inquiries only”
