Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Powered by a period correct 6-226 Super Hurricane mated to a 3spd manual transmission with Spicer transfer case, Dana differentials, and auxillary cooling fan, she is completely finished. Extremely high quality paint job and wood trim looks fantastic. Cosmetically, she is a real head turner. Top to bottom and underneath are all meticulously done. The wood flooring in the back is completely finished, and the only thing that isnt period correct is the aftermarket am/fm cd player iin the dash. All of the gauges are clear and appear new…….I really dont know what else you could do to make her more complete. “I have a 1973 Jeep Dispatcher That was used by USPS as a postal delivery jeep till 2008. I’ve driven this reliably for a long time. The Motor runs really good. It has a rebuilt head, carburetor, new points, new spark plugs, and a rebuilt transmission pump. It has the 232ci AMC straight-six and a Chrysler torque-flite transmission and it all works great. I love this car but I’ve recently bought a new car so it has to go. First $2000 takes her home and I’m FIRM on that price.”

“Custom 4 x4 Willy’s Jeep Pickup. Complete restoration runs excellent and is in excellent condition. This classic little Willy’s pickup is not being shown or driven, start it up once every two months, kept in the garage year around. No expense was spared on the restoration from paint, rebuild engine, power steering & brakes, sprayed bed liner, electric fuel pump and electric fan with large radiator. New tires and aluminum wheels. 350 Chev engine with two barrel carb. Manual 4 speed transmission with shift kit and split gear overdrive. I have driven it to work and back over the years so there are a few scratches in the paint. I have owned it for over 18 years and have over 38,000 in it. Clean Title.”

Unrestored 2A for sale.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A in amazing, original, condition. I have owned this jeep for the past 30 years and have the documents to trace it back to original owner. This jeep needs nothing and is in perfect running condition and is used for chores here around the farm all the time. Has original tool kit, original warn hubs, original fan belt, factory bill of sale, original keys, etc… the list goes on and on. Also comes with a 1946 Sears trailer. The trailer is taken apart because last year someone wanted to buy the jeep and trailer and I was prepping it for shipment. The deal never went thru and now this combination is once again for sale. This is part of a large collection from long time master Jeep restorer Brian Hainer with 30 years in the jeep business. I am hoping to find good homes for all my vehicles and memorabilia.”
