Has an updated engine. It looks like a nice Jeepster.

“1949 Willys Jeepster This is a cool little crusier to enjoy,but I am in need of more space to store my other Cars. It has a great running 350 sbc and 350 turbo auto trans.The rear end is a later model Ford
with 3:45 gear ratio that moves this Jeepster with ease.It also has new upholstery,like new top and side curtains,Elec.fuel pump,12V conversion,new starter, dual exhaust (nice rumble) 15″ chrome
wheels and baby moons,like new tires. The brakes are good (new lines) Lights and turn signals all work. Frame and floors are solid,carpeted. Paint is driver quality with some scrathes and chips.
Items needed are: pass.door latch, wipers, pass. wing window cracked.
This is not a concours restoration,just a fun around town crusier and the price reflects as so.

“1956 Willys 1.5 ton pickup. 350 Chevy motor. Turbo 350 trans with shift kit. Power steering, power brakes.
1974 Wagoneer front axle. 1979 J-10 rear axle. 3:07 gear ratio. New springs. New shocks.
Everything is rebuilt or brand new. Only 900 miles, since placing on the road.
Vehicle is inspected and runs and rides great. Unfortunately, due to health problems, I have not been able to complete all the body work. It is all original steel with very little rust issues. Frame was blasted and finished with Por-15.
Asking $ 15,000 or best offer—-$25,000 invested.

(07/10/2012) “have owned this jeep for 30 years and its time to move on to a new owner. m38 tub was stretched 24″ to fit a reinforced CJ6 frame. body is RUST & DENT FREE. minimal bondo on it. mounts are for a 350 chevy, 700r4, 2 1/2″ YJ leaf springs. roll bar is tied in to the frame in 6 points for safety. 20 gal fuel cell, dual batteries mount in the floor, tuffy security box for a glove box, auto meter gauges, new scout steering box. all the parts pictured plus a heavy duty tow bar. current non op, chp inspected and new vin# issued. I have a ton of money and 50 years of wheeling experience wrapped up in building this jeep.”

Fully restored, with tons of awesome features, not available in ’46, and even sports a chevy small block. Totally road ready, and off road ready. Also included is my extremely rare Arctic Top and doors. Most of these tops and doors were used at military bases and eventually scrapped. Email if interested. (03/28/2015) “This is a restored M170 Willys Ambulance as a troop transport. Comes with an M101 3/4 ton dump trailer as well – been using it in military parades Bandera/Utopia area. Time to move on to something else. Powerful – engine rebuilt, along with tranny, transfer case, wheel seals, etc. New exhaust, everything works except emergency brake. All there just not hooked up. Good canvas, have the doors, new seat pads in the back, no rust to speak of. Very rare, extended wheel base and not the “tip over” typical M38A1. Would make an excellent vehicle to transport hunters to blinds.”

“1958 Willy’s delivery Wagon. I’ve owned this vehicle since 1991. It had 800 miles on it when I bought it from the Warroad Mn. Fire dept. where it was used as a rescue vehicle. Not many folks to rescue I guess. It now has 21,000 miles on it. It has the original Warn winch. I had the overdrive installed shortly after I purchased it. I have much of the original literature for it. I recently had a complete new wiring harness installed. It runs great. The only thing that doesn’t work at the moment is the windshield wipers. The interior is very utilitarian”

“Very minor rust, very straight. Power steering leaks a bit. I have the original compass that was on the dash that still works. Interior needs to be redone. I have some of the door panels and the original headliner is still in place. Car was originally Amber metallic. I painted it an original Willys parkway green and have some paint that I will include.please ask any questions before bidding. Mileage is unknown.”

Jeep is about 95% restored, 100% cosmetic restoration with a few mechanical issues to resolve. Ready for whatever final markings you decide.

I bought this jeep from a friend’s dad that purchased it from the Gov’t post war, so I guess I’m the 3rd owner, I’ve owned it since 1993. In the early 2000’s I started a restoration. In 2004 I had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt , (At that time I purchased an overdrive with PTO that I did not install that is also for sale). In 2005 (after my 4th kid was born), I took the jeep to two jeep buffs for restoration. They both live near me in Northern Ca.

“Engine rebuild included: new pistons and rings, machined the crank and cam, new oil pump, all new seals, and new lifters.Issues: I had this on the road last year and it drove good and climbs any thing pretty much. I have struggled with it overheating and one of the new oil lines needs replaced in order to drive it. The radiator had been checked and cleaned but I believe the overheating could be due to the radiator. So the jeep still needs some work done to it but you will love it once it has some TLC.Body: In amazing shape. It has some minor surface rust but no holes throughout the body.

You are bidding on a 1954 Willy’s CJ-3B jeep. The motor has been rebuilt with hard seats to run unleaded gas and has less than 500 miles on it. The transmission has been resealed to take care of those pesky leaks. Many new parts to include: battery, break master cylinder, break slave cylinders have been refurbished, rubber break lines, steering gear box resealed, new clutch kit, and misc. items.

Engine rebuild included: new pistons and rings, machined the crank and cam, new oil pump, all new seals, and new lifters.

Issues: I had this on the road last year and it drove good and climbs any thing pretty much. I have struggled with an issue of overheating and one of the new oil lines needs replaced. The radiator had been checked and cleaned but I believe the overheating could be due to the radiator. So the jeep still needs some work done to it but you will love it once it has some TLC. The speedometer needs replaced.

Body: In amazing shape. It has some minor surface rust but no holes throughout the body. A New Mexico Jeep (very dry climate).

Electrics have been changed to 12V but the 6V parts are with the vehicle. Vehicle has an original speedometer indicating under 10,000 miles to the best of my knowledge this is accurate. Asking $12,500.00 OBO. This is not a mudder it is an antique.”
