Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Appears solid. Has a few mods.
“Do you want to have a piece of Jeep history? You can have one of the first Jeeps made for the public after the WWII was over. Nice, clean, restored 1946 Willy Jeep, Texas Antique plates, fun to drive and have on a ranch as well. I have on order a water pump and new restored carburetor. Would like to sell due to building a house in a subdivsion.”

(04/11/2015) Those are some rare vintage rims. Has some hunting mods as well.
“1947 CJ2A Willys Jeep. Has a 283 Chevrolet that runs good. Radiator is set up with electric fans. 4×4 and high-low range works good. Locking front hubs. Body is in good condition. Have a clear title in my name. Call or text for more info. ”

I thought the hunting cage was worth documenting.
“Willys truck 4 wheel dr. Truck not running but engine was running. Extra hurricane 6 motor is included with purchase. Truck has minimum rust or body damage axels,transfer case,trans are good. Truck has good texas blue title. Photos available on request”
It was listed as a 1945, but I don’t see anything to validate that date.

Runs on both gas or propane.
“Rare CJ-6, Duel fuel(Propane and Gas) New brakes, new radiator,new generator, new starter, new muffler and tail pipe, new shocks, new real springs, new wind shield wipers and motor, new seats. Front end rebuilt, with new bearings. Ready to go…”

Ran when parked. Has a hunting lift in the rear.
“This truck has not been run in several years. It was running fine when I parked it. Since its been parked the critters have chewed on wires,the clutch has become stuck &brakes have gone away the up side is that all 4wd works great. I replaced three on tree shift trans with floor shift unit ,gearing in low range is 588 to 1. Also has a custom built hunting rack which can be used in high or low position while still leaving the bed open for gear etc. this jeep needs a little work here and there but will go anywhere you point it”
