UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
This CJ-2A was listed on eBay for $1200 (also listed on craigslist for the same amount). No bids were made. Bidding ended on April 13, 2010. However, it looks like a decent price to me. It is a complete jeep with a PTO winch, a top, and a cj-3a windshield with good glass.
“1947 Willy’s CJ-2A with Hardtop and doors. It has a F-Head motor with a 3 speed manual transmission and a CJ-3A windshield. I bought this for $1500 almost 5 years ago. It started right up and drove until I brought it home which is right around 9,000′. I could not get it started and since it has just been sitting in the driveway. I had the starter rebuilt at the cost of $189.81 with a receipt to show. At the moment the battery is dead and the carb. needs rebuilt or replaced. My plan was to upgrade the ignition and put on a new carb. This is a good old flatfender that just needs a little time and money. There is a swing away tire carrier with 2 jerry can holders.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
It’s got an unusual top.
“1950 Willy’s Miltary Jeep for sale. 2000.00 OBO. Jeep is in need of new tires, but will make a great project. was running last time we started it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
This looks in reasonable condition. I do wonder what gun fighter shot a hole in the hood of this poor, defenseless jeep.

Transmission is a 3sp with hi/low transfer case 4wd. This jeep runs and drives great. I have owned this jeep for about 5 years. During that time I have had several people wanting to buy it. I purchased it with the intention of restoring it. Realizing that I just don’t have the time, I’ve decided to sell it. Also the title is free and clear.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000
This looks like a nicely stock plow jeep at a good price.
“Classic 1963 Jeep . Vin number lists everything on it as universal, so its a standard willys jeep. Has hard top and doors. 4 cyl not running currently. Good solid jeep. Very strong. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Gerald pointed out that this appears to be a Right Hand Drive CJ-3b. I agree it looks that way. On closer inspection, as Felix noted, the Willys was backwards. Some of these pics are flipped and some aren’t, though who knows why ..
This jeep has been sitting for 20 years, but it looks more like it has been sinking for 20 years.
“1964 Willy’s Jeep. Has not been operated since 1990. In fair shape. A Great Restoration Project or for Parts. I can email any interested party additional pictures. Comes with the snow plow attached. We cannot provide the title (it has been lost), but do have a New York State Registration document for this vehicle. Additionally, we cannot provide a key to the ignition. This car is sold as is. “For sale are a 1954 Willys CJ-3B with factory hard top. This is a rolling chassis only. I don’t have the drivetrain. The axles are complete from drum to drum and are in good condition. The front axle has the factory lockouts that are functional. There is an additional 1956 CJ-B tub, fenders, hood and grill that go along with this that is in great shape. this jeep is body parts only. I also have an extra pair of original hard doors that go with this. These jeeps would be great for going back original or making a fun toy.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Lots of rust in this CJ-3B.
“Nice rare Willys Cj-3b jeep in great restorable shape or for parts. No papers but bill of sale, Serial #15370 . 4 cyl. F head Engine should run, turns over, but not attempted to start. Has original wheels, interior seats, and excellent and rare all aluminum aftermarket hardtop. Body is very nice for this vintage, SURFACE rust only all over, with repair work needed in the pass. floor and side panel. Was originally a municipal vehicle in Irvington NJ as a meter patrol. Hood and windshield have original stencils from the town. Very nice windshield frame and fenders. Has the often missing side steps in good shape. Silly aluminum bolt on bumpers remove to expose original drawbar underneath. Excellent restoration candidate, please email with questions. Sold as is, no warranty express or implied. Buyer to pick up. Peeling paint and surface rust make it look really bad, but the body is really very solid.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $850. I assume the unusual windshield is due to the hard top.
Here’s a jeep with an unusual top. and it appears to be a lefty, though the tire is mounted pretty high.
“Project i never had time for, nearly complete except for a few parts that were taken by midnight shoppers. starter air cleaner, carb missing.”
” This is an incredible find! 1948 Jeep Willy “hard-shell” ambulance. Includes siren and light. This is the perfect restoration project for the Willy/Jeep collector or the person who must have that incredibly “head-turning” must-have collector vehicle.”
This has an unusual top.

Springs reworked, body patched but extremely solid tub and floors. New inset taillights. Rewired but turn signals need done. Switch is there. This 2-A has a 3-B 1/2 cab and windshield that has been extended 4-1/2 inches. Can see out of this 2-A when driving. Pretty neat. Runs good. 12 volt system with alternator. Have truck heater mounted between the seats. Not much to get this on the road.”
Here’s a great price on a running CJ-2A with a working snow plow. The top is rather funky.
“For Sale a used 1946 Willys-Overland Motors CJ2A Jeep with hydraulic snowplow. Runs great, solid engine and drivetrain. Needs minor exhaust work. 54,810 original miles on engine and drivetrain.”
Yeah, it’s a bit rough. But, how can you not love the top?

Check out the top on this flattie. It looks really well executed. I wonder if the windows roll down a little or not.

These are both pretty rough. Neither runs.
” I have two Willys CJ2As. I was going to make one,but i don’t have the time or space. The 47 has a hard top with doors, the glass is good in the top but not in the doors or windshield. It is all stock with a Koenig PTO winch. The 48 is less together but it seems to all be there. It has 33X12.50 15 mud tires with 70%or 80% tread. Both have titles. Neither of them are running at this time. These are up for auction together.”
I’m not sure if there are any ’42 parts left on this jeep.
“1942 ford , very strong 327 chevy , th400 transmission with 2800 stall converter and shift kit , pro stick shifter , dana 20 transfer case , dana 44 rear end with track lock posi , dana 30 front end welded , 35 inch tires , power steering with tilt wheel , power drum brakes , full roll cage , nice seats , no rust but there is bondo in the hood and front fenders , aluminum hard top , also have a good windshield frame for a soft top , not a real pretty jeep but it has alot of character and is alot of fun, runs and drives great and will go just about anywhere you have the guts to point it. $4000.00”

“Hard to find, 4 cylinder (original engine), 3 speed, 4×4. Engine runs, drive train & 4 wheel drive good. Needs, battery, tires, some brake work.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $12,000
“This Jeep has been 95% restored. All the mechanics was done by Edgewater Jeep and the paint was done by Sunshine Custom Paint. All the chrome was done by Collins Custom Plating (including the pot medal) and there is a lot of chrome including engine parts. This is a great Jeep to have. It is 2WD (not 4WD) drive. The Jeep has “3 on-the-tree”, left hand seating. This is NOT a postal Jeep. It has the “I” beam front axle, which is the old school Jeep”
“1946 CJ2A Jeep with Arctic Top. Engine runs good, rebuilt starter and Carburetor. New tires. This jeep needs some body work (after all, it’s 62 years old.) The frame rails are solid, only surface rust that I’ve seen. I’m sure I’ve done some other things to it. If I think of them I’ll edit the posting. And yes, the carburetor has been covered at all times. I just took off the cover for the pic. I’ll sell the Jeep without the Arctic Top for $1600.00. Prices are firm. These Jeeps are getting more valuable daily. I just don’t have the time for it any more”
“very rare 1965 tuxedo park mark IV. there was only 459 of these jeeps ever produced and this model is the original long bed of jeeps. It has a very strong v-6 engine with 99,150 miles on it and it also has an extra gas tank for those long backcountry trips. The four wheel high and low work perfectly and the front lockers turn very smoothly.”
