Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (02/18/2021) This has a DJ-3A body on it.
“Year: 1946 Make: Jeep Model: Willys 1946 Cj-2a frame and drive train with a 1952 Dj tub. Engine will run but it needs a starter and generator rebuild beforehand. Frame has some rot on the inside. Tub has rust holes and body mounts are mostly gone.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
Tom spotted this jeep. It includes an overdrive (not installed). While the fenders and paint aren’t original, along with a couple other items, there’s a lot to like here.
“Nice old Jeep. Was in storage for long time. New fuel tank,battery,tune up, and carburetor rebuilt. Fun little machine. Rare hardtop. Optional Jeep steps. Extra overdrive included.”

“1952 Willys Jeep M38 Comes with Bill of sale Trail Engine Runs and Drives Trans goes thru all gears Electric fuel pump Not original seats New Brake Lines New Master Cylinder previous owner put thick rubber on the floor with stainless steel plate on top of floor pans for reinforcement, the original floor pans are very rusty The M38 is a 68 yr old it has rust, and is a project. Kinda Rare only 60k produced Also has an Ultra Rare Arctic Top with the doors. Rear hatch also opens up. Appears to be in good condition. I can send more pictures upon request.”

This May 25, 1955, photo shows a CJ-3B with a Worman hardtop that’s splashed with Leb’s advertising. I can’t tell what the hood advertising states. The photo was taken outside the Bell Telephone Company in Atlanta, Georgia.
