This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Very rare 1946 Jeep Willy with 9x,xxx miles. Very good condition. It has been in a shed its entire life. 2 owner vehicle. We but a battery and some fresh gas and it started right up. “The Jeep CJ models are a series of open bodied off-road vehicles built and sold by several successive incarnations from 1945 to 1986. In fact, the 1945 model was the world’s first mass produced 4 wheel drive vehicle for civilian use. As a result the CJ stands for Civilian Jeep.
In 1946 it was equipped with the L34 134ci Flathead 4 cylinder which was nicknamed the “Go Devil” that is mated to a column shifted Borg Warner T90 3 speed manual transmission. This sweet Jeep is also equipped with 3 very rare options making it extremely desirable which are the front tow bar, the rear draw bar (hitch) and the rear bumper mounted Power Take-Off (PTO) which was designed to drive equipment mounted at the rear of the vehicle through a shaft drive assembly. It is also used to drive trailered equipment, operate belt driven machines and shaft driven winches.
The seller has a variety of parts, including what looks to be an FC door. The body appears to be a VEC CJ-2A.

“Willy’s flat fender, Engine starts easily,runs smoothly, Lights work.all gauges work. Top is newer. No rust: Tires have excellent tread. Not a project ready to go have fun. All the comforts you could ask for in 1946 This is one fun ride. Definitely don’t worry about getting stuck. Pto winch works great. Partial trade considered”
