I was wondering about the rim choice, but those were rim’s the restorer’s father had for decades. Seller has other rims as well.

“1946 cj2a Willy. This has been a 5 year project. I have over 150 photos of rebuild (frame off). All has been put back to original. Pasture green tan interior, military tires in great shape. My dad has been holding onto these Ford 1935 wire wheels for 40+ years. and I do have a spare once I find a worthy tire. I have original white top and frame along with doors. I have original rims as well (chrome ). To many parts and things have been done to list here. 4×4 works great. I drive it every chance I get… Weekends mostly. She runs great but don’t get in a hurry… She was suppose to be a daily driver to work since I live so close. Took to long on rebuild now need to move onto other projects. “1950 Willys Jeep, was last driven 3 years ago. Has a clear title. Many new parts and work including:

-Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake lines
-Radiator, hoses
-Alternator w/ internal regulator
-Rear shocks
-Cap, rotor, plug wires, coil
-Gas tank, fuel pump
-Seat frame
-Entire floor replaced
-Good tires and rims

Since the Jeep has sat a few years, I hooked up a battery and it cranked right over. But 2 valves are stuck “up”, I pulled the side cover and can see which ones they are. I began removing the head. Once you unbolt the head you can push them up/down to free them up. I have another Jeep restoration taking up time.

Once valves are free this would be a great running project. Good frame, shifts smooth, nice windshield.”

Body is complete. Stock axles, set up for a small block chevy.
Have a granny low 4 speed, and dana 18 transfer case both have 500 miles since rebuild.
No engine, motor blown. But all pieces are there besides engine to complete.
My father passed away and no time for a project for the foreseeable future.

This 1952 Willys Jeep was reported to be in running condition when put into storage several years ago. The body is very sound for the age and should be a candidate for a full restore. We have installed a new battery and the engine does crank over but so far does not fire. We do have a clean MN Title.

A non stock air cleaner has been installed at some time in the past, the round addition to the hood is to accommodate the air cleaner.”
