UPDATE: **SOLD**
“Here is an unmodified Willys flathead Jeep with very little rust and no patch panels. The only rust I have noticed is in the outside fender steps and one small area on top of the rear wheel well. The foot, gas tank and tool box wells are solid with no repairs. The wheels and buzz saw have been sand blasted and power coated. The original L134 flathead engine runs strong and all 6v electricals work including the gauges and horn. Turn signals have been added but the original wiring harness has been left intact. Vacuum windshield wiper works (except when going up hills). Transmission has an oil leak; shifts well with no noises. Steering is tight; brakes need adjustment. Clutch rattles when pedal is depressed but works fine.
Includes a complete buzz saw assembly that attaches to the rear of the jeep. It is driven off a flat belt pulley on the rear PTO. The PTO drive shaft is bent but still works. It comes with an engine governor which needs a control arm. The speed control handle is still present on the dash. Also comes with top bows for a soft top.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4700.
(05/16/2017) Runs and drives.

(06/04/2017) There seems to be some parts value here. It has a Studebaker-type overdrive.
“I have a 1957 Willys CJ6 with hard top,
It doesn’t look pretty, but it is basically complete and it does run and drive (with a little help).
It is no where near road worthy, but it shows it’s all there.
There is rust, but it is restorable.
It is a CJ6 (just like CJ5, but 20” longer in the middle).
It has a small block Chevy v8 but I do not know what size it is, never looked. It has a T90 3speed transmission, a Dana 18 transfer case with a factory overdrive attached to the rear. It is NOT the warn overdrive, it is a Studebaker overdrive with cable engagement and lock out solenoids.
The engine runs, very smooth and very quiet. it can and will drive up onto a trailer on its own power. Brakes really don’t work though.
Stock front and rear differentials, D25 front and D44 rear.
60/40 front seats, no rear seat.
4 old dry rotted stock type tires that will hold air long enough to move it around.
It has a Koenig full length hard top with some rust here and there, but again it is easily restorable. The rear hatch is missing.
The top is off and disassembled in the back. All pieces that you see in the pics are there.

Thanks once again goes to Charles for sharing these photos.
This German soldier was 7′ 6″!
This photo is from 1944 at the Battle of the Bugle. These are some Belgian SAS members.
Blaine shared these two pics of a Topeka mower he spotted at the Ag Museum in Union Gap, Washington. This one has a little different look on the front. You can bet we’ll be stopping by and checking this one out in person.
Glenn spotted these FCs. There are 35 days left until the auctions finish.
This DJ-3A Convertible is #30 (SN #10030). It looks like they opted for a hardtop rather than a soft top. It’s been sitting in a barn for many years, but looks pretty stock. The jeep has a Sears Aluminum Deluxe top, so hopefully the floors are in good shape. You’ll see on the engine an original dry-type air filter. The engine compartment also has a washer bag, suggesting this has a windshield sprayer; I wonder if it was foot powered? t only has a single vacuum wiper (the passenger side is a hand wiper). It may make a great restoration project. The seller listed it on Facebook here:
This jeep has a rear PTO and gearbox.
“1961 CJ 5 Willys Jeep – $6000 I have had it over 30 years. Runs great. Original with PTO. Matching bumper attached trailer included. No rust! I’m selling it because I’m downsizing.
Cash or cashier’s check only. No scams. Don’t waste my time.”
Mark posted this at warjeeps.com.
“For the past 50+ years it has been driven roughly 30-50 miles per year. It was owned by a former board member of the Reno Air Show and was trailered from Reno to the event and only used to drive around the grounds of the show. Still has the original stickers from the air shows on the front wind shield. Recently had service done on the brakes, oil, etc.
Most likely one of the cleanest non-show car 75 year old vehicles you will see. Recently we did $1400.00 worth of maintenance. Runs great. Would like to find it a nice home.”
Not sure what it has the bobcat hood if it still has the original engine.
“$5000 obo, runs good, original flat 4, rebuilt in ’80, maybe 500 miles”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000.
(10/01/2016) Has some useful updates.
“48 cj2a, 134cid flathead, t90 tranny, Dana 18 t case, new 11″ big break kit in front, new rear breaks, new best top, new fuel tank, new sending unit and gauge, the jeep runs and drives great. Has 31/10.50/ 15″ tires,12 volt conversion, includes tow bar. $5000.00 firm or may trade for 72 ford short bed v8 pickup in good shape no crap please”
Includes a variety of parts.
“This has been on this farm for 40 years and been my toy and tractor. I can no longer give it the attention that it needs. I started to fix it up a year ago but lost my health. I put new Edelbrock carburetor, high output coil and new electronic distributor. It’s got a late model 3 speed transmission full sincro. The tub is in rough shape but running gear is good. It’s got a 44 rear end and upgraded front to handle the 327 cubic in stock engine. I have a fair amount of parts that go with it. A bunch of chevy parts, terra tires and extra wheels plus a lot of other things I will throw in. 2 Holley carborators extra Transmission and other auto parts.
I would like to make this a package deal because because I’m downsizing for a move.
I’m asking $3000 boo for a lot of stuff. I’ll try to show pictures but not sure I will get it all.”
Is that a winch on the bumper?
“1949 Willys CJ3A jeep mostly restored, new military tires, new carb, radiator, brakes, gas tank, military winch, starter, just ran out of time/money/interest for full restoration as a project car. Military OD green inside and out.”
