“Willys Cj-5 v6, Manual transmission. Front disc brakes and power steering conversion. 12 volt electrical system. 4″ suspension lift with rancho shocks. Full roll bars. Soft top with doors. Bucket seats. Body is in great shape for age with only surface rust.”
Maybe some value in parts?
“I think this is a cj3a jeep has no motor or transmission and body has been cut in to but not the frame. All running gear is there rear ends driveshaft good for parts if you need some. We can load it on your trailer.”
My wife spent her second-birthday helping me in the garage (The 25th of June is the day of her bombing .. she says it was like a whole new life after that). She’s a great help; she does any task asked without complaint. I couldn’t ask for a better co-mechanic!
It’s late, so I’ll make this short. We made good progress today. We installed the vacuum holding tank, installed the passenger seat, bled the brakes, rewired some of the frayed wires, connected the transmission and engine, and slid the power train back into place. Now we just have to re attached some wires, hoses, and tighten a few things and we’ll get to test it. Here are a few
pics:
Original paint, too?
“Willys Jeep for sale, excellent all original condition, with only 15k miles, no rust through or rot. The only items not original are the wheels and tires. This is a true barn yard find (literally). UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
