“Body is a bit rough but it has great potential. Runs with a Buick 6. It also has Saturn overdrive and goes highway speeds. It needs a brake job like most Willy’s.”

“1946 willys jeep
Runs
Flathead 4
New fuel system,new seats
No title, bill of sale”
This April 1944 article from Popular Mechanics explains how target jeeps work. The photo shows a slat grille MB sacrificed for the greater good.
Has a ventilated windshield.
“Decided to part with my 1955 Willys CJ3B. Before I bought the jeep it had been partially restored. It was repainted, the engine and transmission were rebuilt and the seats were also replaced with new fabric and foam. I replaced the carburetor and fuel pump a few years ago with the Solex carburetor and an electric fuel pump. It starts and runs good, its a solid jeep and the body is in good condition with minimal rust. It has a rare windshield frame, the inner glass frame folds out which is pretty cool.”
Seller lists the price at $20k, but I suspect that’s just a place holder.
“Have one complete 1946 Jeep Willys all original. Have 2 others (1948) that still need put together. Have a ton of spare parts as well. Can send more pics if seriously interested”
It’s got worn brakes and a fuel line leak.
“80% original. I purchased this in 2015 from the third owner as a possible restoration project but I don’t have the time or energy. Believed to have been in southern New Mexico for at least 40 years. 12 volt conversion. Clear title. Original flathead 134 engine. Seller indicated he had engine rebuilt and personally rebuilt both axles but couldn’t provide receipts. I put on about 20 miles in both 2WD and 4WD before parking it in July 2015 and it ran strong and tight. After bringing coolant up to sub-zero specs it’s been parked ever since. Transmission and transfer case shift smooth and tight with zero slop. Original tailgate and hood have embossed WILLYS i.d. Some Bondo patching is evident on body tub but extent is unknown. Tub has moderate rust perforation on underside bracing. All five tires hold air – wheels are non-OEM chrome. Marine-grade vinyl upholstery and top were added at some point – all in good condition (canopy top and bows are included). Also includes various spare parts that were purchased but never installed (seat belts, new starter, locking hubs). Not drivable due to leaking fuel line and worn brakes, and carb is gummed up after 2 years parked. Sold strictly as-is with no guarantees. Mileage unknown (mileage on odometer is incorrect).”
This might be a good price.
“Call for info, Jeep runs, clean title.”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $3750.

“HAVE A 60 WILLYS JEEP REBUILT ENGINE NEW OLD STOCK F- HEAD REPLACED. ALUMINUM RADIATOR RUNS GREAT.”
This has a variety of mods.
“Great running jeep. No rust. New paint. Good tires. V6 Chevy s10 motor but the rest is original with the 3 speed over drive hi/low transmission. Power steering and brakes.I owned it in the 80’s, sold it then bought it back. I’ve known all the owners since the early 80’s. Never been trail ridden or abused. I will take $5000 cash no less, no joy rides, no BS , bring cash if you want to drive it. It could be a daily driver. All lights work, all gauges work but gas gauge can be fidgety, Windshield folds down easily, s10 steering column and seats. 32×11.5-15″ tires with lots of tread.”
