“1953 Willy’s wagon 4×4, flathead 6cly engine runs good. 4×4 works, needs brake work. Very solid good restoration project”
https://centralmich.craigslist.org/cto/d/1953-willys-jeepster-wagon/6362609225.html
Craig spotted this thing. It is listed as a 1948 jeep, but I doubt there is anything ’48 on it.
“Jeep snowplow truck…well sort of….
Jeep truck cab sitting on a military dump truck frame and military 6×6 wheels. Powered by 455 Olds engine and TH400 trans. Payloader and hi-low counter weights with a forklift mast to raise the 9.5 or 10′ county snow plow. Runs and drives but Dad is 85 years old now and does not need to be climbing in and out of this thing that he built anymore.’

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Having the box makes this one unique. But, it appears the bumper has been broken.
“Made by Comet for retirement gift for WILLYS OVERLAND EXECUTIVES. This toy is in excellent condition, tires show very little play wear. Hard to find with steering wheel intact. JEEP embossed in tailgate is crisp and clear. “Gold plating” is in great shape with some tarnish that I will leave to the buyer to clean. Only blemish is right front bumper is typically broken. Box is in equally excellent condition. Both have been kept under glass as long as I’ve owned it.”
This is a unique vehicle.
“1953 Willys Overland. Factory prototype. F head six cylinder. Right hand drive. This is the only one.”

Bill spotted this one.
“THIS IS A COMPLETE ENGINE FROM FAN TO BELL HOUSING – MISSING STARTER, CARB AND DISTRIBUTOR COVER. COMES WITH STAND.”
This photo from the October 1954 issue of Kaiser Willys News got me thinking. Anyone know when the first jeep trenchers were manufactured?
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
Looks like a good A2.

Needs work, but looks pretty stock. Given those steps have survived it might not have been beat up too much.
“All original good body, no damage. Original 4 Cyl. engine. Includes original trailer. In barn for 20 yrs, but had it running a few years ago. I would restore it myself, but I am 85 yrs old.”
https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ant/cto/d/1948-willys-jeep-cj2a/6360646162.html
Seller believes the Koenig hardtop top came off of a DJ, but that top wouldn’t have fit the wider windshield of the CJ-5.
“Been slowly fixing this cj5 up over the last year or so.
Recently replaced-
All fluids
Axle seals
Greased wheel bearings
Brake master cylinder
All brake slave cylinders
All brake shoes
Brake flex lines
Ignition switch
Tail lights
Distributor cap, rotor, points and leads
Spark plugs
Coolant hoses
Fan belt
Installed delco 145amp alternator.
And more I have forgotten about!
The original f134 motor runs well and I have driven the jeep around the block a few times. Still needs some work to be roadworthy but not much. Body is in good shape with very little rust.
Has a interesting Hardtop and doors that I suspect came off a dj5
Vehicle is fitted with a Ramsey pto winch and PTO.
Vehicle needs new rear leaf springs and the parking brake fixed before it will be roadworthy. Also the fuel tank really needs to be flushed and sealed.”

“Complete trans and transfer case with Husky overdrive. Husky brand is a copy of the Warn unit and made in Longmont ,Colo. Missing all shift levers. The trans is a t-98 ,4spd.”
Ann says they tilted the camera for this shot. I can’t tell for sure. This photo was featured in the March 1955 issue of the Willys News and shows Vice President Hickman Price descending a steep gradel in a CJ-5.
Here’s an unusual piece.
