“I will address current condition, this jeep has no title, you can get in lieu of bond for it, its a really easy process, i will provide a bill of sale which you will need for that process, its all but road worthy, needs new master cylinder, brakes bled etc.. it has a new battery, it will start and run, clutch works, goes into gear, t case shifts in and out of gear, this is still a project, you cannot drive it home, no i do not know how fast it goes, it has the 4 cylinder engine, twin stick Dana 18, offset rear end, the gas tank is clean, the engine runs off of the mechanical fuel pump that is on the engine, it does steer, most of the lights work, yes it has rust, show me any old jeep or vehicle that does not have rust, the price is 1500, that price is firm, would be a cool mountain rig, kid/parent project, please serious inquiries only,”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Unclear how much value is here. It’s got one of the sedan roofs atop it. No description provided.
This seems to be a 1946 and has the early windshield and a column shifter, so likely it’s a VEC. However, it lacks indents. I can’t tell if it has full floating rear hubs or not.

“Hi there, I’m looking for a new and loving home for my Grandfather’s 1947 Willys CJ2A. He was the second owner and was in the middle of having a full restoration done on the truck before he passed away, and I unfortunately do not have the time to show it the love it deserves.
The body is straight, there are no dents, there is no rust, and it has a brand new paint job in a light metallic blue. If you are familiar with Willys you may notice that he updated the windshield frame the the later model to give it a rounder overall look. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials were rebuilt and are installed in the truck, the only thing not installed is the front driveshaft.
I have two sets of doors to go with the jeep and a handful of the original parts to help put it back together. And it has a clean title. I’m asking $15,000 OBO, I know from the receipts I found he has much more than that into it. Trades welcome. I hope to find it a great new home.”
UPDATE: Still Available.

“Mostly held together with bondo. Have original engine at mission motor being stored. Is on a open trailer that can sell with it.”
I think this tire setup should work just fine for now. There are skinny wranglers on the front and some classic desert dogs on the back.
I decided to upgrade to a 1″ bore master cylinder from Wilwood for the clutch. Honestly, it kind of feels light and cheap. Unfortunately, the new MC did not include an adapter (A FEMALE(3/8-24 INVERTED) with a MALE(1/8-27 NPTF) to connect the flair tipped line to the MC and our local auto stores didn’t have the correct adapter either. Ugh … This should reduce the clutch stroke without making it too difficult to use (my first jeep had a really stiff clutch, but I never minded it). Hopefully, I’ll have all hooked up by later today.
Chris shared this nice looking original CJ-5. If you are looking for an early CJ-5, this one looks great for the price.

“I’m at the point the only way to finish my current project is to sell my finished Model T or to sell one of my future projects. Don’t want to make a bunch if listings if you’re interested in something message me we can discuss. I will be honest though these are my personal projects, these aren’t customers cars or projects I bought to make a quick buck. If the tire mount is original to the driver’s side location, then this may be a “Lefty”. There are no top bow holder brackets on the passenger side.

“1952 CJ3a. The 4 cylinder flat head runs for a second or two when gas is poured down the carb. Tub has lots of rust. Clean title in my name. The windshield and hard half cab are for a CJ2a and do not fit quite right. Seat frames, wheels, and heater appear to be period correct. Located in Ashton, Idaho AND NO WHERE NEAR and hundreds of miles away from Boise or Coeur d’alene, Idaho. Tires will hold air just long enough to load on a trailer. Price is firm or I will part it out to make my money.”
Unsure how much value is here.

“1948 Willys CJ2A with clean Utah title in hand. The Good: 350 CI Chevrolet Goodwrench crate engine with very few miles, it runs well. Edelbrock Pro-Flo multiport EFI, adapter bellhousing mates to the original manual transmission, transfer case features twin shifters. Clutch is like new, All new brake shoes and wheel cylinders, new wheel bearings and hubs in front axle, and lots of other new parts. AutoMeter gauges all work. Includes a soft top. All fluids are fresh. The Bad: Power steering isn’t connected, unsure if it will work or not. Brakes and clutch are not working, likely a bad master cylinder and possibly a clutch slave cylinder. Some cancer on the floor pan support rails which is common because these were built with wood between the metal in these areas. Otherwise the rest of the body is cancer free. This 1948 CJ2A is a great platform for a rock crawler, sand buggy, or whatever your vision is. The 350 small block Chevy has tons of power for a small, lightweight vehicle like this. You can finish it as is or put the clean body on a custom frame built for whatever you’re in to.”
I bought these three Scenic Jeep Tour slides off of eBay, supposedly from 1964. The pic with the FC *might* be ours. I am waiting for the slide to take a better pic.
With the racer near done and the nice weather, I plan on tackling a couple outside projects, then begin work on the FC Tour jeep.
This appear to have some late model Free-Lock hubs.
