UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8500.
Has a variety of new parts.
“Runs perfect and has restoration done to many parts

Looks in good shape. It might be the photo lighting, but the area around the driver side drain hole doesn’t appear smooth.
“1950 CJ-3A in great condition. All original jeep minus the Buick V-6 and 12-V electrical system. The Buick 198 engine has been recently tuned and runs great. Fun to cruise around in. 3 speed T-90 and Spicer transfer case. 5.38:1 original gearing. New clutch, new brake master cylinder, new tires, Superwinch locking front hubs, newer black Bestop soft top. Same owners since early 70’s.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
I don’t understand why the body seems to have water stains, but everything else looks very crisp. It may have a new body kit. The missing windshield glass suggests this hasn’t been “fully” restored just yet.
“1953 CJ-A WILLYS JEEP

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.

New fuel system: fuel filler, & gas tank. Newer muffler and tail pipe. Seats are in excellent condition- and has the jeep lap seat belts, dash pad is great, no rips or tears. Door panels are painted and still have the arm rest. Floors are solid with extra thick rubber floor mats and there is no carpet. The hood does have some dents on the top. The underside is in excellent condition. Very Straight body. Tail gate in good condition and not rusted like some. Runs and drives good.”

Seller believes this to be home made, but it looks like a Sears Half top to me.
“home made aluminum hard top taken off of a 1946/1953 cj2
very well made, sliding windows”

Listed as a “Navy” 1948, this may have been a Navy M-38.
“1948 Willys Jeep Navy Military issue. Engine runs good needs a little work. Engine is 4 cylinder flat head. Make Offer.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500.
(10/05/2017) It’s missing the steps, but appears solid. As the seller notes, the VIN 39353 def suggests it is one of the last column shifts made.
“46 CJ-2A Column Shift. Runs and drives good. Just took it on a 500 mile cruise a couple of weekends ago. New gauges, rebuilt starter, new voltage regulator, powder coated wheels, heater. Solid jeep. Side steps are missing, but I have them and they go with it. Serial Number: 39353. Quite possible one of the last column shifts made. Text preferable. Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/19/2017) Body might be a little rough on the passenger side.

“1946 Willys CJ-2A – Has clear Colorado title in my name along with Collectors plates that were just renewed for 5 years
Original “Go-Devil” Flat head F-134 engine, T-90 3 speed transmission, Dana 18 twin stick transfer case and an original Warn Overdrive unit (RARE!)
Converted to 12V system – works great with newer battery – drained and flushed the cooling system recently and replaced the radiator cap.
Early CJ-5 axles so it has the rear offset dana 44 and front dana 27 both with 5.38 gears – drum brakes – replaced some of the hard brake lines recently since a couple were pinched

(04/14/2017) Craig shared this good looking truck.
“For sale only cash 1958 Willys pickup sitting on a 99 s10 4 cylinder automatic runs and drives good”
UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $11,800
(06/02/2017) Nice looking truck. The most unusual aspect is the location of the gauge panel under the passenger side glove box.
“CLASSIC 1948 WILLYS TRUCK (Jeep Style) REBUILT TOP TO BOTTOM ! – 1994 S10 Chassis-4.3 Vortec 6 Cylinder AUTOMATIC-AIR CONDITIONING $11,800”
It’s a mix of parts.
“Solid body n frame is very nice. Engine is locked up from sitting, have it soaking now.”

“It is hard to determine what type of vehicle this is – a truck, or an SUV, or something special. It is a one of a kind. Its foldable tarp roof makes it a great summer vehicle, strong heater warms it up nicely in winter time. Its fuel economy is phenomenal for a 4×4 vehicle – around 33 MPG.

“My personal M38 is for sale because I am downsizing my collection. This is a great example of the M38. Included with the sale is the trailer pictured on the back. This jeep runs, drives, and looks great! Great little weekend cruiser that will get lots of looks.”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $1250.
It’s a plow truck.
“1962 Willys. Has been a yard/plow truck for many years on my property. Runs great. Obviously not Road legal but is great around the property to haul branches, firewood or whatever. Plows snow very very well. Very strong old truck.
Huricane 6 motor, 3spd manual, 55,643 miles, Fisher Speed Cast plow, 2 sets of wheels/tires with chains on rear of one set. Brand new battery last week and seasonal oil change/tune up done. Ready to plow someone else’s yard for many years.
Bought tractor with snowblower and just never use jeep anymore”
Given this doesn’t run, Id be careful spending more than $2000 on it. Parts are hard to find and expensive (I owned three at one point). There is a FB page for Champ owners.
“1952-62 not entirely sure of model year, Austin Champ. England’s attempt at making copy of the Willys jeep. 7spds forward + 7 in reverse. 9000 original miles. Right hand drive. 4 cylinder Rolls Royce engine. 24v system, 4 wheel independent suspension. antique fisher plow. one of very, very few here in the U.S. This thing will go like a tank. $4000 or best offer.”

I’m not sure if it still plows or now. Has a Koenig hardtop.

https://scranton.craigslist.org/pts/d/sears-allstate-aluminum/6394294335.html
Has some mods. Looks solid. This was manufactured just after the Lefty batch. Vin is 186729 and Lefty’s ended approx at 185769.
“1948 Willy’s Cj2a 90 % completed needs new tie rod ends and nuckles as well as a new or rebuilt 4barrel carburetor. The jeep has a Chevy 350 in it which runs very well, no smoke (needs carb work). Comes with a Best Top which is in perfect condition. Also included is a 6 point roll bar by extreme fabrication designed to be welded to frame ( not installed). The drive train and frame are original and are in very good condition and function properly. There is absolutely no rust or bondo on the vehicle, very clean! The tub is a steel aftermarket one and is correct with the Willy’s markings. The transmission is a three speed on the floor with a Saturn over drive, both of which function flawlessly. Has good rubber and aluminum wheels. The vehicle has a title and was purchased in Wisconsin about 2 years ago. the jeep was stored for years in a garage in Wisconsin.”
https://maine.craigslist.org/cto/d/1948-willys-cj2a/6399553142.html
There’s value here. It has a SN tag, an engine, and other parts. The SN# indicates this was a November 1962 CJ-5.
