UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800.
Appears worth a look.
“This is a T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case and Saturn OD from a 1946 CJ2A.
They all shift and turn freely. The only evident issue is that some one beforehand had cut the tops of the original shifters and added these rods. Doesn’t affect the function, just looks dumb.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3950.
This might make a good project. These aren’t easy to find. Thanks to TJ for spotting it.
“Very rare convertible with a power top, v6, 3spd. 4×4. vehicle is complete, engine turns over and has spark, floors need work, clear title.”
No pics provided.
“Selling a 1960 CJ6. I really don’t want to part ways with this jeep but I don’t have the time to restore it. The jeep ran a year ago, I’ve tried it recently and it will turnover but not fire up. This has the original engine. This needs brake work probably all the way around. The front pans and back pan will need to be replaced along with the back pan needing one underneath support, I didn’t notice it until I got it home. The gentleman before installed a plastic gas tank he bought from Willys Kaiser and installed an electric fuel pump. There is a little body work that will be required, the windshield frame in my opinion needs to be replaced due to rust.”

If you are in the market for a 225, this may be a good candidate.
“Buick Oddfire 225 engine. Early edition “Patent Pending” (the more desirable model) Offenhauser 360 dual port manifold, Kenne Bell valve train assembly with billet tip roller rocker arms and other high quality parts. I wanted to use this motor in a father / son project we are working on and my son wants to move in another direction. Engine is ready to be dropped in and put into service. First $550.00 cash takes it. I have an engine hoist here at the house to load into your pickup. Please reply via craigslist with you email address or phone number and I will reply to you as soon as possible as I am not allowed to receive calls when I am on duty.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
(12/13/2016) Looks like there are two different shackles on the front. Not a big deal,
“1953 Willys CJ3B. All original. $7250 OBO. Clean Florida title. Have tagged and insured now and drive the family around. 4X4 works great. New battery and alternator. New military 750R16 tires, tubes, and rims. Brake cylinders, pads, master cylinder. Fuel tank and sending unit . Electrical system, gauges, turn signals, and lights. New carburetor, fuel filter, and lines. Spark plugs and wires. Lots of new oil seals everywhere.
New windshield glass and rubber seals.
Paint is pretty good.
Body is very good. Inner tub has rust in areas and needs some better welding clean up work. Very solid. Not a rust bucket.
Seats need to be upholstered.
Just had in Ocala National Forest for 40 miles of offroading and did great. Zero issues. Has a bikini top. ”
A reader is in the process of selling his jeep. He listed it on eWillys and Willysforsale.com. He soon ran into a scam. We don’t know which site “Jay Larsen” used to find the jeep for sale, but I wanted to warn everyone just in case, as this scam has been used before (though I’ve never heard of any problems from eWillys readers).
The seller wrote, “I was contacted by a Jay Larsen. He agreed to buy the Jeep, but told me he wanted to use PayPal. I reluctantly agreed. I received a series of emails this morning indicating that the money was “on hold”. I was told that for the money to be released, I would have to send a money gram to a shipping company. They wanted $2,000. I did not proceed with the deal and told him I knew it was a scam.”
There’s nothing inherently bad about Paypal as I use it a lot to buy things and get paid for advertising. But, it doesn’t mean scammers won’t use it either. So, here are some warnings provided by Papal that include the “on hold” scam mentioned above: https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/article/Scams-on-Craigslist-and-Other-Classifieds-Websites-FAQ3022
Yep, this is all about sightseeing. It couldn’t possibly be a double date?? The nurse climbing into the jeep is Mary Louise Eckes of San Francisco and Dickenson, ND. The other nurse is Margaret Allen of Denver, Colorado.

I’m still finishing up a few detail items such as welting and felt on the radiator shroud; have new air cleaner on order. Asking $14,500 but will consider any reasonable offer (cash offers only – am NOT interested in trades). Additional pictures are available upon request.
