It’s certainly well-equipped, but there aren’t enough pics to tell how original it is or isn’t.

“1957 willys jeep solid , runs great”
For the quality of the rebuild, I don’t understand why this was militarized??
“I HAVE A SUPER CLEAN WILLY’S. WAS RESTORED APOX THREE YEARS AGO. THE BODY IS RUST FREE AS IS THE FRAME. HAS CENTER LINE TIRES. IT HAS XXX577 MILES ON IT. HAVE THE ORIGINAL GAS CANTEEN FOR IT. IT HAS A THREE SPEED TRANSMISSION, RUN AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM! THIS IS A MUST SEE!!”

“Meticulously and authentically restored” 1941 MB? With all due respect to Mr. Weinberg, it’s nicely rebuilt, but this has authenticity shortcomings (the grille, the dash, the wheels, and the gas tank for starters).

“Seller’s Description: 1941 WILLYS MB MILITARY JEEP for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this spectacular 1941 Willys MB Jeep. This genuine WWII Jeep, which saw service in the European Theater, was meticulously and authentically restored by Max Weinberg to honor the military service of his wife, Beckys, father, uncle, and cousin, whose names and service records within the United States Army Signal Corps are inscribed on the right side of the vehicle.
Mr. Weinberg personally researched the history of the Jeep with the Department of defense and its history is documented. The markings, numbers, and military insignias are true to its original configuration. We have never seen a military Jeep restored to such a high standard.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200.
Includes some parts not shown.
“Up for sale I have an original Ford GPW Engine.
The serial number places it in 1943.
The engine has been refreshed, with a new gasket kit, new valves (omix ada), new timing chain (omix ada), and new points for the distributor.
Although not pictured, included is the oil rod, oil spout, flywheel, and the piece of metal that goes between the engine and the flywheel.”
This was published around 1950. It’s less story and more marketing, but still interesting. The argument that the trencher doesn’t affect the roadability of the jeep might be a stretch ….
Starting bid is $680.
“You are bidding on an original slat grill for a 1941 Willys slat grille Jeep. This also includes (2) headlight brackets& 2 small Lt housing.
Brackets are out of shape ,a small stress cracks, Frozen Hinges. One Lt Housing rusted out.
Colorado Ranch Find. Light Rust, Some Original Paint here and there. One Slat is Loose.
Overall pretty decent shape – a great grill to use on your restoration.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000. Greg suspects this may not be a Parkway.
Lots of updates to this runner.
“1950 Willys
Small Block, 400 Auto, 3/4 ton axles”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
(10/02/2017) Dan spotted this late model truck, manufactured not too long before the switch to the Gladiator.
“Im selling my 1963 Willys pickup because I’ve moved and no longer have room for it. I found it sitting next to someones garage it had been there for a while. My son drove it for the next 6 months it had no problems. We then would drive it around occasionally, We moved to a house with a smaller garage and no longer have room for it. The previous owners had a ton of work done to it, its mostly original its just missing the factory bumpers and I believe it has A aftermarket bed.”
Does not indicate that it runs.
“Barn Find!!! One owner, complete car, highly sought after & collectible. Call for an appointment. Superior Motors”

This has a passenger tank and some diamond plating along the side. The seller does not indicate whether the 2A is for sale or not.

This M-38 has an APU hood. This must have been swapped onto it when the F-head was installed (maybe from the same APU?).
“1952 Jeep m38 need radiator, and maybe engine overhaul. See pictures needs to be restored but good project for someone. Asking $500 but look and let me know,”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
(12/28/2017) Steve shared this one. Sell listed this as a 1949, but based on the serial number it was manufactured near the end of the 1948 run.
“Late Willys CJ-2A Jeep, manufactured shortly before switch to CJ-3A. Runs and drives well. Rebuilt engine. 12-volt electrical system. Operating Meyer snow plow with original hydraulic pump and custom-made reinforced mounting rig. Original Willys hood, tailgate, windshield, front seats and rear seat, with original-style vinyl covers by Beachwood Canvas. Repro CJ/M38 body tub has some rust but definitely repairable.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $400.
(12/08/2017) Roger’s got this set of dual wheel adapters for sale. One side of the adapter has been welded onto 15″ rims. These appear to be the same unknown adapters as the sets seen in #5 on this list. If you’d like to know more, contact Roger at 937-477-5270.
The seller indicates this is a 1959-60, but the 0-8 King Seeley speedometer suggests it was early 1956. The seller also has a fiberglass body to sell.
“YESTERDAYS PROJECT.. Too many projects going on, this one has to go. The Jeep drove to it’s present resting spot, it has seal problems, I think it was leaking oil badly. It comes with the plow, and I also own a Fiberglass body that I need to sell. I checked and thought it was the correct wheelbase, but needs to be checked for sure. The price is for the Jeep, not the fiberglass body..”

Fiberglass body:
There seems to be some value here in the tires and rims.

This might be a replacement body on a later model frame (the front crossmember is what puzzles me). There’s plenty of work to be done.

“Old Willy’s. Axles are good, and the engine will crank, but it doesn’t run and drive. Be Good yard art or use drive train for parts.
Update due to so many questions.
I have the original 134 engine. I have extra clutch, radiators, starter, generator, seat frames and original filters, etc. Some from this Jeep it and Other parts are from a 1948. All the parts go with it. I also have old registration papers through the 70s and 80s on it as well.
It is in rough shape. Very rusty body, for those who want a vehicle to restore, the body is beyond that point so look elsewhere.”
