This club badge would have been mounted on a jeep. I tried to learn more about this club, but had no luck finding any info.

This unusual Jeepster is for sale through Facebook. There are enough unusual things about it that I began to wonder if it is a prototype of some type. It seems to have the top from a wire gauze air cleaner typically seen on the Kaiser Darrin and some DJ-3As (surreys and converibles in particular). The sliding windows on the door are also interesting. That’s what got me thinking that there might be something unique about this rig, possibly even a prototype of some sort??

“This has to be the most beautiful Willys Truck I have ever seen, I am listing it for a friend, I went to Cape Cod and picked it up from an elderly gentleman for my friend, when he bought it, so inspected it myself before paying for it. It was garage kept, and only driven occasionally on weekends, and to car shows. It has a small block Chevy, and all the original Willys drivetrain, the truck runs great, as does the 4 wheel drive. The interior is perfect, and the truck has no rust anywhere, it was all red, but we did the black in my shop. Also, a 3” suspension lift and new tires have been added, and mounted on the original Willy wheels.

“Family situation forces sale. 1953 Hurricane engine, T-90 transmission, new glass, newer tires, newly rebuilt generator, 12 volt, newer battery, new regulator. The tool channels were filled with bondo.
The id number is a MB number, but is considered a 1947 by the DMV. The tub is a MB. The jeep was modified for a film to look like a M38. The driver side has been smoothed over with bondo at some point, but the ribs for the tools can be seen on the inside.
The window is post war as well as the M38 grille.”

Not sure how much value is here. It is listed as a 1947 CJ-2A. It might have a mix of parts.
“47 flat fender project. Was going to build it for my daughter to drive to high school but had a change of plans. It is currently registered and titled in my name. No motor or trans but the complete chassis and body is there just far from perfect. The tool box under the passenger seat is not rotted. Interested in trading or selling. Always looking for chevy/gmc stuff preferably 4×4 but open to offers just no fords.”
Desert Magazine reviewed the “new” CJ-5 in 1963. Click on images to enlarge them. Spoiler alert .. the author concluded the jeep is a “man’s car”.

(11/26/2017) Looks in good shape.
“1957 Jeep Cj6 Willys. Completely stock. Frame off restoration completed before I owned it. The original Dauntless 134 was completely rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. It runs perfect. Everything works. It drives very nicely. Original 3-speed trans, manual drum brakes and manual steering. Paint is in nice condition. The prep on the paint could have been better and it does have bondo in places. However, it looks really clean. It has a winch on the front and a very nicely built roll cage. If you are looking for a stock CJ-6 that hasn’t been too modified and is not $15,000 this is the jeep for you. They only made 12000 of them in 1957. Super rare Jeep. These are 101″ Wheelbase. So much more room inside and ideal wheelbase for rock crawling. Also comes with a Bestop soft top and doors that has never been installed but seems to be missing a few of the tubes needed. We bought this as a project for my son and we are heading a different direction. May be open to trade for a Toyota pickup.”

“Up for sell is a 1954 Jeep Willys M38A1. It has been great to us but we no longer need it due to us selling our ranch. It was repainted in a line-x paint about 4 years ago and had a majority of things replaced. It has new mud tires and new locking warn hubs put on before we parked it a couple of months ago. 3 Speed manual, 4X4 works great just needs a carburetor kit and a battery and will be up and running. It can be started if you would like to see it on. We also do have original fuel tank but had a small leak so we took it off but it can be repaired. Can send more info and better picture on request. “This 1961 Willys Overland Wagon was purchased by the previous owner out of New Mexico in August 2007 and was acquired by the selling dealer last month. The truck has been repainted in beige under a prior owner and the roof was refinished in early 2016. Work in 2011 included removing the 226ci Super Hurricane flathead inline-six, manual transmission, and transfer case, and replacing all gaskets and seals. The cylinder head was machined at the same time, and a tuneup was conducted with new ignition components. Both the front and rear axles have been rebuilt, while four new shocks were fitted. Receipts for the mechanical work and refinished roof are included in the sale, and the truck is offered by the selling dealer carrying a clean Texas title.”

“This is a very complete farm Jeep with all the cool stuff still on it. It has a full PTO with a perfect pto shield, novi governor with complete handle and linkage, original head lights, and front weight. Jeep was running several years ago when parked but it hasn’t been started it since. The engine and all gear boxes turn freely and shift fine.
Body tub is obviously shot due to rust but the cowl, dash, and firewall are uncut and perfect. The fenders are very ruff and will require a lot of work to fix. The hood looks worse than it is as the dent will come out without a lot of trouble. The windshield is very solid and straight with only a few extra holes from the license plate and rear view mirror. The grill is absolutely perfect as is the frame which is solid and straight front to rear. This jeep even has the original ignition key and the switch turns freely.

“1945 Willys CJ2A Jeep, serial number 10239 making this the 239th civilian jeep off the assembly line. Jeep is not running and the body/frame is in overall ruff condition but is restorable. It has a lot of the early 45 features still intact and does have a clean Wisconsin title. I also have many early jeep parts on my shelves available so ask if there is something you are looking for.”
