“I have a 1943 Willy’s mb. It belonged to my uncle for many years. He has gone through most of it over the years. I took it over and got it running again and now it just sits. I have other jeeps that get the attention so it’s time to let someone else enjoy this little jewel. I currently have no paperwork on the jeep but it has been out of the system for over 20 years. Would require a inspection at the dmv. Jeep runs and drives good just needs minor attention. Top not included”

Needs some work.
“I have a 1947 Bantam T3-C trailer in need of some freshening up. Comes as shown with Bill of sale only. I’m also including a sheet steel tub that I had made, it is the correct size to replace the rotten deck, with enough material on the sides to replace as much as you’d like.
My plan was to restore it and make a camp trailer to tow behind my Jeep. This would be a great choice for a Willy’s trailer to tow behind a CJ2 or similar.”
Scott shared a link to this 1952 story about eleven Boy Scouts who drove for 73 days across the country and back in a single Willys truck. It’s worth a read:
Here’s how the story begins: “In the summer of 1952 I was one of 11 Boy Scouts from Glen Ridge who joined Troop 3 Scoutmaster George Gimbel on a 73-day cross-country adventure. The trip took in 22states and two Canadian provinces. Nineteen fifty-two was years before the construction of the Interstate Highway System, so all of our travel was via state and local roads. We saw the country up-close. We camped out every night in national parks, state forests, and Boy Scout camps.”
Seller believes this is an Army jeep due to the passenger side indents, but that more likely the sign of a replacement body.
“1946 Willys CJ2A, Go Devil L-134 4 cylinder engine, rebuilt generator, just tuned up. No rust or rot.
Frame off restoration done 12 years ago. Original PTO in the back. 3 speed standard. 6 volt system.
all gauges work. no directionals, never had any. all lights work. 19,000 original miles. never had windshield wipers. added a 6 volt electric wiper on drivers side but never ran voltage to it. she is a Army Jeep you can tell by the indents on the passenger side of the sheet metal. has some paint chipping. She runs excellent. will add more pics this weekend.”
