The windshield, grille, gas tank, and lack of drain hole suggests this is an M-38.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2200.
This has a fiberglass body.
“Runs Drives stops fiberglass body Buick v6 newer tires no dry rot .located in Decatur Mi pick up and be seen in Decatur 2200 obo”
This could be worth a look.
“All original Willy’s high good, new tires just out on, up and running. Great project, or wheeler build.”
It runs.
“I have a 1956 willys cj5, 4 cyl 3spd twin stick 4wd. It runs and shifts fine. Needs body work mainly tub work, needs fuel tank. The frame is in good shape and the shackles and axles are original. 1 tire looses air but i just keep it aired up. The seats are in good shape. I purchased it to make a weekend driver, but i have ran out of space and time. New parts included are as followed. New bikini top. New brake master cylinder.”
Both vehicles have titles.
“I bought this wagon in Phoenix, AZ in 2008 and haven’t gotten around to bringing it back to what it should be so it is time to move it on. This vehicle is in great physical shape and it was running when I parked it. Rust is limited to the driver and passenger floor and tailgate. The floors are the original. The sale comes with a real solid replacement tailgate, bumper and much much more. It also comes with a 1955 donor wagon that has a good frame and lots of parts. Both are titled. Both have new tires and the 55 has original repainted wheels. I have not included pictures of the donor vehicle. The 1950 has an F134, 4 cylinder and the 1955 has a Super Hurricane, 6 cylinder which was also running prior to moth balling. There is a full set of glass for the windows and lots of hard to find parts. This is a must see to appreciate what it is and what goes with it. Feel free to call or text. My number is in the reply area. If your looking for a Willys Wagon project you won’t find a better one to start with.”

UPDATE: **SOLD**
Seller is accepting bids. It’s not clear what needs work on this.
“Old mail Jeep in great condition. Runs and drives really well. SO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE! My intentions were to 100% restore it as a collectors piece but I’ve been very busy with work and we are in the process of moving. I do not need to sell but would like to not worry about it at this time. As time goes on I’ll continue to restore it slowly and the price will go up if I sell later on. Please do your research before bidding.”
The body has been stretched to fit the blazer frame. I’m not sure how much value is here.
“47 jeep willy on blazer frame with 350. Runs an drives needs brakes finished an mjnor touch ups to be a badass mud toy. ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Not sure how much value is here, but there’s value if the wheels are included.

Before changes:
Nate’s at it again. He got to thinking about upgrading his steering on Ted, his CJ-3A. One thing led to another and soon he was developing a fairly non-invasive (no saginaw-like alterations) way of improving his steering. He’s spent the past month and a half writing it up on the earlyCJ-5 page.

Here are a few pics.
Could be a good price.
“Five new 31” tires 215 CI V8 Runs and drives no problem”

“This is a 1951 willys rat rod truck with 305 V8 Chevy engine and automatic transmission runs great. Clean title. Very Fun. Don’t really want to sell but got too many projects”
No drain holes, so this may have had some body work. No wipers or holes for wipers. No description provided. Might have a plow.
Looks solid.

“Hello, We are selling our 1952 Willys Jeep. It has a GM Buick Dauntless V-6 engine and runs like a top. With overdrive box, lock-out hubs, all in great working condition. This vehicle is a real “head-turner”. You can hardly get fuel without someone coming up to talk about it with you. We have mounted a spare tire to the back since these photos were taken. All steel body with NO !! rust.
Driven approx 50 miles a year for the last ten years. Collectors plates. Top is in excellent shape. Get ready for the parade season with this Jeep. Please, no “low price” offers, this is truly a one of a kind.
Thank you,”

This may have some Allstate hubs.
“This specific cj2a has had only two owners, runs, drives, and stops great. The highly sought after “Go Devil” engine runs very strong on first turn. The 3 speed manual transmission functions as it should, smooth, and with no hesitation. 4wd functions in high and low, and the frame has no rot and very little rust. This willys was garage kept and never saw snow, or salt as it resided in St. Petersburg Florida with its original owner since initial purchase. The body, floor, rockers, and frame are 100 % rot free with very minimal rust. All parts are original excluding the tail lights and spare tire. All electronics(lights, gauges,ECT.) function properly and tires have good tread and no leaks. Jeep has been well maintained and is ready to hit the road or trails with all needed paperwork. Priced to sell fast, a great ride in rare condition and a real head turner. Feel free to call or text anytime. I have email but will respond faster on my phone. Price is negotiable, open to trades for classic vehicles and jeeps only. No top included”

Chad shared this auction. The Bring-A-Trailer bid as of this writing is $11,500. I’m a bit floored by that bid, as the paint isn’t perfect and there are some dings in the metal.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1957-jeep-forward-control-170/
“This 1963 Jeep Forward Control 170 (FC-170) was recently acquired by the Kentucky-based selling dealer from its previous owner in Georgia. Power comes from a 226ci Super Hurricane inline-six paired to a 3-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle had been used as a daily driver, and the prior owner installed locking hubs, a new exhaust system, auxiliary gauges, new tail lights, a new fuel tank, carburetor, air cleaner assembly, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and much more as detailed below. Three months ago, the seller also fitted new period-correct wheels and new tires, re-wired the headlights, and added a new fuel pump, spark plugs, coil, and distributor. The four-wheel-drive system is claimed to work well, and this Jeep is now being offered with a receipt for the seller’s recent service, along with a clean Kentucky title.”
Works for parades. A few years ago a buyer could get a nice MB or GPW for this price.
“This ARMY JEEP runs and drives. It is equipped for use, as if it was on active duty.”

This doesn’t run at the moment. Sure looks like an unrestored gem that would clean up nicely.
“I am selling a 1951 Willy’s Wagon for sale. This is a very clean vehicle. Must see to appreciate. I have not had it running in awhile, but it did run years ago. Very low original miles. Asking $10,000, but will consider all reasonable offers. Thanks for looking!”

It doesn’t run.
