“1952 Willys M38. Flat fender Korean War era Military jeep. Many OEM and NOS parts. Very good “driver” condition. Could be a class A restoration in a few long weekends. 134 “MC” stamped motor with T90 3 Speed transmission. 24v, blackout lights and all gauges work. Open to offers but please no low balls. This vehicle is a real “head-turner”. You can hardly get fuel without someone coming up to talk about it with you. We have mounted a spare tire to the back since these photos were taken. All steel body with NO !! rust.

“This specific cj2a has had only two owners, runs, drives, and stops great. The highly sought after “Go Devil” engine runs very strong on first turn. The 3 speed manual transmission functions as it should, smooth, and with no hesitation. 4wd functions in high and low, and the frame has no rot and very little rust. “This 1963 Jeep Forward Control 170 (FC-170) was recently acquired by the Kentucky-based selling dealer from its previous owner in Georgia. Power comes from a 226ci Super Hurricane inline-six paired to a 3-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle had been used as a daily driver, and the prior owner installed locking hubs, a new exhaust system, auxiliary gauges, new tail lights, a new fuel tank, carburetor, air cleaner assembly, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and much more as detailed below. Three months ago, the seller also fitted new period-correct wheels and new tires, re-wired the headlights, and added a new fuel pump, spark plugs, coil, and distributor. The four-wheel-drive system is claimed to work well, and this Jeep is now being offered with a receipt for the seller’s recent service, along with a clean Kentucky title.”
Works for parades. A few years ago a buyer could get a nice MB or GPW for this price.

This a rare factory photo of early Nissan Patrol 4W60s. It was taken only three months after they began production. The 4W60s were made through 1960.
“1951 Press Photo Japanese workers build jeeps in Tokyo factory, Japan. This is an original press photo. Jeep-Japan – Industry – Bigger and more powerful than their American counterparts, Japanese jeeps receive their finishing touches in the Nissan Motor factory in Tokyo. The jeeps are used by the national rural police to speed up investigation work. More than 100 of the vehicles, which are constructed from materials from Japan, have been delivered. Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches. Photo is dated 12-04-1951.”

UPDATE: Rudy has a similar exhaust manifold, but it is cast iron.
Dave writes that he picked up this boat marine inboard exhaust manifold. The former owner said he tried to google it, but could find no information. It came off a Jeep mb motor. Anyone recognize it?

(08/16/2017) Has some updates. Price seems good.
“I’m selling my ’54 Willys CJ-3B. Engine is a Chevy 350. Runs great. 3-speed T-90 transmission. Everything shifts smooth. Too speed is around 50-55mph. Tires are 32×11.5 BF Goodrich in like new condition. Miles are unknown, as the odometer does not work. VIN on body and frame matches. Body is fairly clean considering its age. New battery. 12 volt electrical. Drum brakes. Soft top is in decent shape. Smog exempt. Registration is up to date. Includes tow bar and lights.
This jeep was well cared for. I’ve owned it for a little more than a year, and haven’t had any issues with it. Unfortunately, my plans changed and I need to part ways.”

It’s name appears to be the “Taurus Turtle”. Look like an older build.

“1949 Willys CJ3A Fire Engine Jeep. This is a Boyer conversion. This jeep is very complete, original, and unrestored. This jeep has less less than 3200 miles on the odometer. Lots of the original accessories are still place. I understand that some of the nozzles are collectible.
The jeep has been in long term storage since it was taken out of service in 1980. The jeep is not currently running but the engine is not stuck. It will turn over by hand. The jeep was driven into the storage building that I found it in. I bought this jeep from the first civilian owner. Since this is an all original jeep, I have done nothing to it. I have not even washed the nearly 40 years of dust off of it. You are getting a very complete and untouched original fire engine jeep here.

This is being sold as a 1969 CJ-5 with only 8730 miles on it. Yet, the tail lights and the front parking lights are not original. The speedometer does not look original either (wasn’t the 69 CJ-5 still using the 0-9 speedo?). Anyone else have thoughts about it?
