Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willy’s, has a Buick v6 motor plenty of power, new paint, new tires, nice seats, has the original running gear that works perfect, new fuel cell, been in the family since 1960, the ultimate side-by-side, if a tree gets in your way just mow it over, this thing is built to last, no flimsy A arms and tiny axles, it’s a tank, I had it lifted, with big tires and rims, it looked good but didn’t perform off road, back to a two inch lift with skinny tires, works the best, put chains on the front tires, and you will never get stuck. The motor so strong it will sling mud thirty feet in front of Jeep.”

It looks like there may be some body rust on the driver’s side. A video on the ad shows the engine runs.

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1800. Serial number 57548 91880 indicates it is a 1959 model.

“Runs, drives. starts with key. brakes not working. has title. L134 engine, T90 transmission. PTO shifter with complete PTO unit on back of jeep. when you engage the PTO shifter, a spline on the back bumper turns.”
The seller has a variety of parts, including what looks to be an FC door. The body appears to be a VEC CJ-2A.
