“1946 cj2a willys jeep. 3 on the tree, all original. Brand new tires. Needs distributer. Have electronic distributer ready to install. Bought it last year and had an awesome summer with it. Was running up until about a month ago. Not enough time to devote to this badass jeep.”
It’s a project.

“Buick odd fire v6 (running)
Narrow track Dana 30 out of cj5 with disc brakes
Spartan locker
538 gears
Front frame extended with custom front bumper
Dual shackle points, winch point
Yj springs up front
Brand new not installed aluminum radiator
Only thing needed to make it streetable are yj springs in rear and recommend upgraded brake master cylinder and brake lines.”
Might be a good price.

“1954 Willys Jeep pickup project. Runs and drives but not roadworthy. No brakes and blocked fuel line. Cab and hood are in good shape. Fenders and box rough but probably repairable. Good compression, oil pressure. Heavy duty alternator, updated 2 barrel carb. 3-speed trans, high/low transfer case locking hubs. Lights will need re-wiring. Will continue to tinker with brakes and fuel system. As those issues are corrected, price will become more firm.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** “Was $2500.
Lots of rust.
“Up for sale is this what I believe to be as a 1952 Willys cj3b. Under the hood is a good old GM 4 banger with an offenhauser 4 barrel intake. Has not run in about 15-20 years. I was told it was built for someone who never came to pick it up. Will come with spare front axle. Floor is rusted through in a majority of it. Sitting on 33″ tires one of which does not hold air very well. It has no title but we can write up a bill of sale. Would highly recommend bringing a trailer. If you’ve got something you would like to trade offer it up. Worst I can say is no.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
(03/18/2018) This has an unusual dash. I might have seen this jeep at an event circa 1980. That dash looks a little familiar.
“1951 Willys Jeep for sale. NEEDS A CLUTCH. May need to clean the carburetor. Good engine & transmission. Asking $3800 OBO.”

UPDATE: Mike confirmed via an FJ-3A brochure that these are the correct rims for an FJ-3A. I have a hard copy of that brochure and the hubcaps with the jeep name are visible in some of the pics. There can’t be many these hubcaps left.

“This set of 4 hubcaps is extremely rare…original equipment on the 1961-1965 Fleetvan – FJ-3/FJ3A – Walk-In Delivery Van. Willys Motors
introduced the two-wheel drive vehicle in 1961 and it was produced through 1965. Example of these hub caps on vehicle is shown in last
photo. Photo is example only…vehicle NOT included in this auction.
These hub caps measure 10″ in diameter…see photo.
These hub caps are almost 60 years old…they show their age…the chrome is gone, they have a few dents and dings and a bit of rust. Please
examine photos closely and judge their condition for yourself.
Please message any questions before bidding…I will respond ASAP.
Payment will be expected within 3 days of auction’s end. I usually ship the day after payment received…always within 3 days.
Thanks for checking-out my listing.”
This collection has a few interesting items, such as early (factory?) photos of the Porter & Reed Hardtops. But, I don’t see a ton of value here. Interestingly, the rear door of the Porter & Reed top swings sideways.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000.
“Runs good, doesn’t smoke, new water pump, fuel pump, tune up, 4wd works, PTO winch works.”

This photo from 1977 shows some postal jeeps that were caught in a July flood. This was featured on the Smithsonian’s National Postal Museum site.
“Postal inspectors were deployed to western Pennsylvania following a devastating flood, which was caused by a massive thunderstorm on July 19-20, 1977. These jeeps, swept away by the enormous force of the floodwaters, were recovered half a mile from the Windber Post Office.”
I lost a few emails out of my d@ewillys.com account yesterday due to a graphics snafu. If you sent me one between 8am pst and 5pm pst, can you please resend it?

Rare DJ-5 non-mail jeep. Needs a little body work on the driver’s fender, but otherwise this looks like a rare find in good shape. This is a former US Army vehicle (no pic of a Gov plate).
“1970 Jeep Universal DJ5
2 wheel drive
24,xxx original miles
134 F Head Willys 4 cylinder
3 Speed Manual
Runs well
New tires and front brakes
Solid body and floor
Former US Army TMP vehicle
Paint is average for this year vehicle.
Everything works except the heater which is disconnected and one wiper arm is broken.
I am moving and this needs a new home. I brought this vehicle to TX from Georgia. I did not have sufficient evidence of ownership so it has a blue Texas bonded title in my name.”
Greg shared this one. It looks solid. The body might be a repro given the glove box. It lacks drain holes and doesn’t have the Willys script on the hood.
