The frame horns suggest this is a CJ-2A chassis topped with a DJ-3A body and hardtop.

I accomplished a good deal of wiring yesterday, with more to do. We got a 7-day heatwave (+100 temps) coming in a couple of days, so I’m going to try to get as much done as I can before the shop is too warm.
I won this service station brochure off of ebay. I’d never seen another one. The folded brochure measures 11″x4.5″, then folds out to 22″x17″. The Form Number is SF-11-57-X.
Here’s the front of the unopened brochure.
Here is the back:
The brochure opens vertically first:
It then opens horizontally:
Part of the brochure then folds down to reveal this fully opened page: Continue reading
Blaine shared this link about an original Hamilton Air Force jeep up for auction on Bring-a-Trailer. It sold for $1200! I’ve added a video of it below.
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/hamilton-steel-products-air-force-jeep-pedal-car/
The current price for this is $19.99. Some nice bit of art. It’s the first I’ve heard of the Pike’s Peak Jeep Posse.
Andy shared this rare still-in-box toy. It is currently sitting at $75.

“Vintage 1950’s Auburn Truck & Camper Set With Accessories. New in Box.”
Tim shared this pic on Facebook (not for sale). It shows a jeep with a DJ-3A body and, possibly, a CJ-5 hardtop, both with a custom extension, atop a four wheel drive chassis. He plans to talk to the owner to learn more about it.
It’s a great looking wagon!

“A VERY rare, complete 1967 Jeep “Jeepster” Commando, four wheel drive…even more rare by virtue of the intact factory convertible top, factory continental kit, and 3-speed automatic transmission. It has been speculated that this might be the last living example of this combination of “Jeepster”.
Overall in very good condition–body and chrome bumpers are dent free in excellent condition…all glass, including light lenses are intact…convertible top including rear window are intact…Michelin street tires are in good condition…all Jeep branding medallions are in place including on chrome hubcaps…all interior is in original and very good condition.

This is a good price for how nice this jeep is. Thanks to Tom for sharing it. As of this writing the sale is pending. It has a problem continuing to run. There could be something in the gas tank (maybe some customer dropped something into the gas tank).

“Korean War 1952 Willys M38. Starts easy. Doesnt stay running, stalls. Maybe bad fuel pump. Vehicle is located inside retail store so its difficult to work on it without fuming up the whole place. All 24v components in place. Correct carb, fuel pump, distributor, voltage regulator, generator. Vehicle is clean, no mud, oil, grime underneath or on engine or transmission. Body is original, decent shape – a little beat up. Floor in back has rust holes, but is pretty solid. 30 cal is a replica made by Hoosier Hot Shot https://www.hoosierhotshot.com/ and is not included. Mount is negotiable. Indiana title numbers matching in my name is included. Vehicle will have to be disassambled to move from the retail store when a serious buyer is found. All the bolts holding it together are new and have never been in the weather. We should be able to do it in a day or so. We will do the dissassembly and reassembly. Buyer can help if they want.”
The front springs have been outboarded some and I imagine the rear springs have as well. Looks like it has been lengthened, too.
