This has the Pontiac slant 4. That’s the engine I wanted for Biscuit.
“This is a one of a kind project. The motor is a 195.5 slant 4 Pontiac, 389 cut in 1/2. This motor was designed by John Delorian, and is capable of 300 hp asperated & 500 hp supercharged. The motor came only in the 1961 and 1962 Pontiac tempest. I am in a tight spot and must sell.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
There is some parts value at the very least.
“I have a mostly original M38. Its a project needsless to say. I was told this jeep sat in a field for many years. It is a very restorable jeep floors are solid. The only rust is in the side panels. They do sell replacement side panels online.”
Not sure how much value is here.

“Three classic Willys CJ Jeeps. First is a 1951 CJ3A with plow. Ran a couple of years ago and will run again. Title in hand. Next are two 1940s vintage CJ2As. One of those is complete and correct. Have NY registration. All have been outside for a long time and are rusty and rough. Save these from the crusher! A great collection for a project or for the valuable parts that are nearly impossible to find nowadays. $800 takes all. A steal! You move. Must take all three. Will not separate or part out.
Please provide your name and cell phone number if interested in a reply.”
My newest cutting board arrived today, thanks to an eWillys reader named Tom Gallagher. His boards earned a great write-up in the National Barbecue news a few years ago. He carefully selects the wood and makes each one himself.
This is a great addition to my growing collection of cutting boards (I like kitchen stuff as much as jeep stuff), so many thanks to Tom for sending it! You can learn more about his boards at his website: http://pigcuttingboard.com/
UPDATE: Price dropped to $9950.
This has drive train upgrades. It also had a later model jeep rim as an air filter cover. It looks like the rear ends of the body have been lengthened, yielding a slightly different body lines along the rear bottom of the jeep.

The Truck ad is from the September 8, 1955, issue of the Heppner Gazette-Times, while the wagon is from the October 27, 1955, issue. I guess the 1955 fall advertising theme was “All-Purpose”.
This will be auctioned in August.

“Found myself in possession of this great little jeep when my sister passed away and have kept it in a barn since then. Living in an arid climate it has held up well. Runs good but hasn’t been started in a couple of years. The old balloon tires still hold air! Selling for just $3,000.00 although since I’m not sure exactly what I have it might be worth more, Much more. Photos aren’t the best, will get more info for interested buyers.”

“Looking to trade my 1953 CJ3B. It has a 283 V8 with a 2 spd powerglide transmission. I do have the 4wd tranny that came with it and the front driveshaft. Was tagged and inspected last year but have not redone it since putting the auto transmission in. It still needs some tinkering with the linkage to be completely ready. It has a little trouble shifting into park. Starts drives and stops. Could use a tune up. It will need a little patchwork done around the shifter. I also have a brand new soft top and doors that have never been installed. Would like to trade for and older car or truck or a rat rod. Doesn’t have to be completely finished I don’t mind doing a little work on something that catches my eye. Clear title in my name.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(06/14/2018) Has a replacement body.

“For sale or trade. 1953 Willys CJ3B in great condition. Seats were recovered 2 summers ago, amazing shape for this year jeep. Needs a cylinder head, it leaks coolant into the exhaust and smokes. No coolant in the oil. Any other questions just ask. No other issues, drives nice down the road. No bondo anywhere on this jeep, come see for yourself. Won’t be disappointed. I hate to get rid of it but need a pick up truck for work. Looking to trade for a nice standard cab Chevy long box truck in good condition 2wd or 4wd. Asking $4,500 cash. Let me know what’s out there. More pics available if interested.”
