Dash has been partly cut out. Seller has listed it as a 1948 CJ-3A.
https://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/d/jeep-willys-cj3a-price-or/6624740879.html
“Mostly complete CJ3A. The tub is in decent shape although the dash has a large hole where the gauges used to be. The frame is straight with a saginaw manual gear box. It is set up for a buick V6. It does not include an engine but I do have the tranny, t-case, and drive shafts that came out of it, along with an extra set of axles. The floor is not rotted out and and the tub straight. I do have the windshield frame (not in picture). This is a great starter project for a restoration, hot rod, or rat rod.”
UPDATE: Price might have dropped to $3800 (though the ad reads $380,000)
(11/17/2018) This appears to have a set of Warn “Summer Hubs”.

“52 Willys Jeep for sale. Been in the family and garaged since purchased from the government. Primarily used for hunting when it was running. Has not ran or been worked on in over 20 years. Straight body and frame. Hubs move freely but recommend buyer transporting with a trailer. Title in hand. Will not deliver to buyer. Additional pictures can be provided on request of serious buyer. Some rust throughout jeep but not bad for its age. Drivers side floor pan has rust through on the seam. Canvas top with some tears. Great original platform to start restoration or build.”
Thanks to Joe for sharing this link. The sale includes a 1956 CJ-5. Should someone buy the lot and finds there’s a bunch of interesting brochures or documents, I’d be interested in them (or sharing them). No pics provided.

“I am selling my 1954 Willys CJ3B. These 3Bs are getting harder to find in original untouched condition like this one. It runs, drives, and stops! Starts right up no issues. Still has original 6V system which chargers. It has the F134, T90 3 speed, and Twin stick Dana 18. Dana 25 front axle with warn hubs, Dana 44 rear axle. I have put on a new exhaust system, OEM spec front leaf springs, pivot bolts, U-bolts and shackles. New shocks all the way around. Brakes are brand new from master cylinder to wheel cylinders as well as shoes and lines.
Engine has new water pump, thermostat, radiator hoses, and fuel pump. Carb has been rebuilt too. original rims come with it. Driver side floor has been fiber glassed until I could get around to welding in new floor. I have a gas tank that will work with it until OEM one is bought. Engine smokes do to worn piston rings. can easily be fixed. I will explain on the phone about engine smoking. Jeep will come with the rest of the leaf spring shackles and pivot bolts(new), spare U bolt, 3 moog u-joints, and water bypass hose. Clean title I am the 3rd owner. I have a copy of the title before me and it was October 1970.”
Could be worth a look.

“Great little jeep. Original motor and transmission. Has some rust and leaks a little oil but over all it’s in pretty good condition for the year. The hard top is great. It only goes about 45 mph but still manages to be a lot of fun. I also have a extra set of tires and it comes with a snow plow. Texts are easier for me during the day.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750.
It needs a little work, but could still be a good price.
“This is actually an ex-postal Jeep 1975 DJ-5D. They’re pretty rare. It was used for 20 years for the USPS delivering mail. The engine and transmission were just rebuilt by a reputable mechanic and they have less than 10,000 miles on them. It runs and idles really good. Top speed is 65mph. 2WD, Automatic 3 speed, steering wheel is on passenger side. It’s big enough inside to fit a dirt bike or mtn bike. Tires were just checked and filled by a tire shop.
It needs just a couple things: 1) new battery 2) front brakes 3) transmission pan gasket 4) steering stabilizer
I just found out that I’m having a baby sooo I guess I need to start selling all of my hobbies 🙂 I’m firm on the price. I’ve got the title in hand. Text is the best way to contact me.”

“1965 Parts are from a jeep I got in 1975 from a local nursery that used it for moving plants etc. around on the grounds. The jeep body was in pretty bad shape but it only had 19,000 miles on it. I can send pictures of the ring and pinion teeth, super clean.
