Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This mixer was featured in the 1949 Willys Overland Equipment Book. It was manufactured by Hertzler and Zook, a company established in 1899 out of Belleville, Pennsylvania, that manufactured an array of machinery and farm implements. There are still a few catalogs left out there, such as this 1926-27 catalog for sale at Abe Books.

Intersting collection of parts. The flat fender body looks like it could be new? One of the tops is an earlier Kelly top. The other could be a 1960s Kelly top?

“1982 AM General postal jeep. This was my route vehicle until I retired last october, and is is very good condition. Everything works as it should, and there are upgrades. Headlights upgraded from sealed beam to H4, and to use a relay for each circuit, hi & lo(spare relays will be included) Rebuilt 2.5L GM engine has less than a thousand miles on it, comp cam, 9:1 pistons, weber carb conversion complete with electric fuel pump. Extreme heavy duty flasher for hazards, an aux heater that runs off engine coolant, stock heater works also.
Doesn’t run at the moment. Has a Meyer hardtop.

Not a ton of value here, but at a minimum does have the VIN plate, the engine, hubs, and rims.

(06/24/2018) This may have a rare Worman CJ-3B hardtop.
“1954 Willys CJ3B. Great project. Very solid and straight. Has arctic hardtop. Engine and seats are missing but everything thing else is there. Find another 134 “F” head or perfect for a v6 or V8 conversion. Last driven in 1976. Stored under a carport for a majority of the time since then. It will be hard to find a better CJ3B to restore than this one. Has not been abused or molested like a most. If the ad is up it’s for sale. No trades too many projects already. Do not respond with an offer to help sell it.”
