(08/02/2018) Seller lists this as a 1947 CJ-2A, but it looks more like a CJ-3A with its lack of bumper gussets and the drip tray under the hood.

A seller named Φίλιππος Κερενκιώτης near Thessaloniki, Greece, let me know that he’s got an M-38 for sale. It’s a project, but it does include the proper paperwork.
He contacted me via FB, so if you are in/near Greece and interesting in this, I’ll hook you up with him. Maybe this is a good time to take your significant other to Greece?

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/d/1951-cj3a-all-original-and/6666685572.html
“I have an all original Willys CJ3A, even the original factory wheels.
I got it from the original owner and it’s been in dry storage ever since.
The engine runs really well, but needs a new water pump, battery, etc.
I have a video of it running.
The transfer case shifts fine but the trans won’t shift and I have never had it apart to check on it.
It has all of the normal, common issues the old Willys jeeps usually have.
It needs a full restoration.
It has a better windshield and hood now, different from what the photos show.
I can throw in a better tub for a full price offer.
I am not in a hurry to sell, I really don’t need to sell it other than for space.
I don’t need any help selling it and low ball offers will simply be ignored.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $4200.
Has a few updates.
“Parked for 10 years, this WWII Willy’s is equipped with a possible non running Buick V6 and a T90 3 speed manual transmission that is in pieces. Engine and Transmission are a factory option mated unit from 1966. Interior and paint are in good condition. Machine gun mount still attached to frame and can be viewed from underneath. 5 brand new 16 in wheels and tires dress this classic piece of history. Body off restoration performed by previous owner. (Have pictures). Thanks for looking.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $6200.

“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A 3speed, 33’s, light bar and pods, runs decent. It’s a fun little rig!”
Seems like a good price considering the rims and other parts. Looks to be a glass body on a CJ-5 chassis. The cutlas hubs appear in great shape.

2 manual transmissions
2 PTO winches
1 complete body
2 seats
And I think 1 soft top

https://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/cto/d/1948-jeep-willys-rate-left/6665891761.html
“Jeep is in need of complete restoration or use for parts. Engine turns over freely and cylinders are clean. We had plans to get running and started working on it but have no time anymore. All the parts we took off to take the engine out are in a box, we also have a snow plow that goes with it.”
