Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have an all original Willys CJ3A, even the original factory wheels.
I got it from the original owner and it’s been in dry storage ever since.
The engine runs really well, but needs a new water pump, battery, etc.
I have a video of it running.
The transfer case shifts fine but the trans won’t shift and I have never had it apart to check on it.
It has all of the normal, common issues the old Willys jeeps usually have.
It needs a full restoration.
It has a better windshield and hood now, different from what the photos show.
I can throw in a better tub for a full price offer.
I am not in a hurry to sell, I really don’t need to sell it other than for space.
I don’t need any help selling it and low ball offers will simply be ignored.”

“Parked for 10 years, this WWII Willy’s is equipped with a possible non running Buick V6 and a T90 3 speed manual transmission that is in pieces. Engine and Transmission are a factory option mated unit from 1966. Interior and paint are in good condition. Machine gun mount still attached to frame and can be viewed from underneath. 5 brand new 16 in wheels and tires dress this classic piece of history. Body off restoration performed by previous owner. Seems like a good price considering the rims and other parts. Looks to be a glass body on a CJ-5 chassis. The cutlas hubs appear in great shape.
