“It is registered as a 1974 JEEP CJ model but I’m told by the Jeep experts that it is actually between a 1946-1949 Willys Jeep CJ2A. If your a Jeep lover this vehicle might be something that you are interested in. It is pre smog certificate, has a 350 Chevy Engine, an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburettor, 3 speed Toyota transmission, 4×4 and locking hubs and a Brand new high end battery. All function and work great. Joe-in-Mesa has this unusual Bellhousing and adapter combination. He’d like to find a good home for it, as he has no plans for installing a 260 Ford into his flat fenders.
“This bell housing is from a 1962 Ford Falcon 260 (V8) motor with 4 speed trans! I also have the clutch/bearing arm for the bell housing. That’s the same engine used just 2 years later in the Mustang and even early Cobras J. The bell housing is marked C2OA-6394 FoMoCo 62-1 (Jan ’62?) and Sheffield.”

Brandon spotted a Willys Wagon in a photo hanging on the wall of a Bowling Green, Kentucky, Steak N’ Shake.
UPDATE: John spotted this video. This 8×8 was last listed on eBay and sold for $11,100. It was relisted in 2014, at which time the video below was posted. I believe this sold, as it is no longer listed on the seller’s website.

-Rebuilt 327 Corvette engine powers ALL 8 Wheels!

In full disclosure, the items that are not 100% show quality as follows:
-There is a bit of overspray on the drivers side
-The interior could use some TLC to get to show quality
This Willys will literally go anywhere, and it has. Dick Cook personally drove this rig with his daughter from Crested Butte Colorado all the way over the pass to Aspen only a few years ago for a road trip. With the option of locking out the rear 4 wheels this rig will motor down the highway at 65 mph. Also has one of the best turning capabilities of any auto out there. It will “crab” down the road in a parade or 8 wheel steer itself out of any trail corner. Bid now and be the owner of this one of a kind WIllys 8X8 Overland before it makes its way to Barrett Jackson Las Vegas and goes for who know how much!”

“Here is a stock, unmolested survivor pickup. It is very straight and mostly rust free. Very solid, was used on a farm so only bad part is the tailgate is rough. It has 230 tornado that runs good and t90 3 on the tree transmission. Nothing has been modified, including hubs. It has 4.27 gears and does hi way speed easily. Glass is all good, doors are tight. It has sat at times but I drive it once a month , 30 miles round trip to my daughters. You will not find a better candidate for restoration or just drive. I have extra parts from a j3000 I was going to install, but decided to keep it stock. complete set up for power steering, door mechanisms, and some other parts. It also has stock wheels and hub caps in the bed. Yes you can drive it home, it has collector plate. $2500 or possible trade.”
It appears this is a WWII chassis and front clip (fenders/grille/hood) with a CJ-2A or CJ-3A body. In addition, the steps on the body have been modified and the drain holes on the sides have been filled. The rear of the body appears to be filled in. The windshield is aftermarket or from an M-38. ew 1970’s type jeep dual brake master cylinder, new steel and rubber brake lines and wheel cylinders. Brand new tires 33×12.5R15LT on 15 x 10 wheels. 1966 jeep dauntless 225 V6 engine that runs strong. T-86 transmission bolted direct to 1946 twin stick transfer case (no adapters). New fender well headers and thrush mufflers with black ceramic coating and rubber mounts. New water pump and radiator hoses with brand new radiator.

This is listed as a 1941 with an M-38 body. The body lacks the M-38 glove box, but has the battery box lid. The frame has the angled rear shock mount rather than the vertical one, so the chassis may be civilian.

“Selling a circa 1950 Willys truck trailer with a vintage camper shell. Good heavy duty trailer, tows nice and the lights work. It is pretty rough ( not a good candidate to restore), and the tires need replacing ( have extras for free) but very useful. Losing my place to store it, need to sell. No trades.”
