Engine is out of the vehicle.
“49 Willys Jeep, all stock including 6 volt system and flathead engine. Engine is not in the veh. but has been recently machined and partly assembled. has many brand new stock parts, including all new wire harness(not installed) and new stock like tires(5 including spare). Also have soft top frame and doors(no material). The jeep was running in good condition until cylinder failed on engine, had it machined and started to assemble and at this time unable to continue. Asking 9500 or best offer, only respond if serious buyer, thank you.”
I suppose the dalmatic hubs, the grilles, and the rims have some value.

“what ya see in the pics….is what ya get. Rolling frame with wheels & locking hubs, roll bar, front grill, tub, 2 gas tanks, and an oregon title.”

(10/29/2018) Bill shared this one.
https://goldcountry.craigslist.org/cto/d/1954-willys-cj-3b-hi-hood/6742570013.html
“1954 Willys CJ-3B Hi Hood. Great father son project, hunting or parade vehicle. 283 Chevy, three spd. transmission, two speed transfer case with a Ford overdrive. Jeep has 7.50 -16 Remington bias ply tires, Warn hubs and is currently non-oped with no back registration.
Windshield glass is broke and is incorrect windshield frame for the hi-hood. It is off an earlier model flat fender which could be good for taller drivers. Wheel tubs have been trimmed so the seats could move back.
Jeep is mostly stock except for the V-8, unsure of the gear ratios in the axles, drum brakes on all four corners and looks like stock type steering. Have never tried the over drive so not sure if it works. Jeep runs, steers and stops but will need to be trailered to its new home. Headlights, brake lights and blinkers work as well. There is a heater motor with fan that works as well.
Jeep has some neat little features that one of owners has done at some point such as looks like a car instrument/speedometer cluster has been set in the dash and looks like there is a clean rear sway bar to make handle smoother.
Jeep has a single fuel tank but we do have a second tank that came with it that could be mounted under the driver seat. Body seems to be fair with normal repairs, bondo spots etc. There is no top or backseat for the Jeep.”
Andy shared the Willys sales training document. I’d buy it at a cheaper price.

“I am selling a mostly Original 1943 Ford GPW WWII Jeep. It Has matching Frame and Tub Data plate numbers (109596) The Block Is a GPW Block and the Head is a Willys. Everything Seems to be original ford and most parts have “f” script markings. The engine is stuck but I have been soaking the cylinders for a month or so. The T-84 transmission and D18 Transfercase seem to be in good shape. The axles appear to be original and there are Dualamatic Locking hubs on the front. You can shift through all gears.
The top has no marking and I don’t know anything about it. It comes with five 15″ wheels that have had the center torched open. It also comes with two 16″ jeep wheels with NDT tires. The original gas tank is missing and there is a non original tank in the back. The tub has some dents and holes in it (bullet holes) there is some rust in the floors and some on the sides as seen in the pictures, but is in decent shape for it age. The front frame horns were extended to fit a large PTO winch but the winch is no longer there. It has a Koenig model 10 single speed PTO mounted to the back of the transfer case. I do not have a title for it.”
UPDATE **SOLD** Was $4000.
Might be a good price. No good pics of the jeep itself.

Matt spotted this nice looking Ford GP.
“This 1941 Ford GP (#9223) is an early model Series 1, one of 1500 from the earliest series. Restored over 30 years ago by an active member of the MVCC (Military Vehicle Collectors of California), it was sold to the most recent Montana owner over 20 years ago. It is powered by the original spec 120 cubic inch 4-cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission and includes a matching military trailer. This GP checks all the boxes with correct top, trailer with canvas, all of the blinkers , reflectors, extinguisher, flashlight, engine crank handle, and correct lighting.
The correct instructional tags are mounted on the dash, and the combo gauge is center mounted. There are 2341 showing on the odometer, but the true mileage is unknown.
The genuine GP engine # 9547 and drivetrain were rebuilt at the time of restoration. The seller says that it runs and drives great, and smokes a little when cold but clears up once warm. An oil service was completed five miles ago and coolant was also flushed. Brakes and steering operate as designed, and the engine does drip some oil after driving.
