“Koenig hardtop and doors with glass off of a 1955 Willys Jeep”
The windshield glass looks larger than usual. The custom frame could be of value if well built.

“1946 Willy’s Jeep Project – Will send pictures upon request. Always garaged. This is a definite project. Not for the faint of heart”
This sign used the July 1961 brochure for its art.

“Willys Jeep Collage Backlit LED Lighted Sign with all Models. Collectible Reproduction 1960’s Dealer Sign Here is a very nice backlit LED sign with image of an early 1960s Jeep dealership sign. The sign is a new reproduction, but is very cool and would make a great centerpiece for the Jeep Cave. Protective strips at side peel away to reveal chrome trim on an all wood box. Lighted sign measures 25.5″ x 17.5″ x 4″ deep. Hanging hooks are installed on the back panel. The light box includes a multi-function remote control that enables background color change throughout the spectrum. It also has a blink function, and you can set it to fade in light to dark and back again.”
Some of these clips form this four-plus minute 1943 movie are familiar, but the video also offer a wide range of clips I hadn’t seen (that I can remember). There are Bantams BRC-60s, BRC-40s, Ford GPs, Slat Grill MBs, Ford GPAs, and MBs/GPWs.
This “That’s the Car for Me” Ad was in the January 1947 issue of Holiday Magazine and listed for sale on eBay. I don’t remember seeing this one.
I like the desk, along with the history.

“This is one rare and special 4×4. This early production Gladiator is still tagged as a “Willys” not “Kaiser”. It also is equipped with the coveted “Thriftside” bed and small rear window. It is titled as a ’64 but believed to be a ’63 model.
The truck was part of the California AAA Auto Club fleet. It was not used as a tow truck, but as a service vehicle when someone needed some gas, a jump start, or a push. I was told that these AAA Jeeps were used to pull the Rose Parade floats.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Jeep lacks brakes and the trencher needs some work. Has a Meyer half cab and a plow up front.
“Here is one of the Holy Grails for the Jeep Collector. The “Jeep-A-Trench.”
I recently uncovered this Jeep from a farm in Winters Texas. The rancher had owned the Jeep since the 1960’s or so. It has the ultra rare Jeep-A-Trench rear end and the front mounted Dozer blade. It is also outfitted with the Arctic top and hard doors. All the glass is good and I even have the back cab glass thats in perfect shape. The seal just dried up.
The Jeep has no found rust through, been in Texas since new. Even the under seat tool box is solid. The Jeep was paint industrial yellow likely when the gear was installed. But the factory original was that nice turquoisey blue.
The Jeep runs and drives but currently has no brakes. The front blade still works and automatic raises and lowers from inside cab. The rear Trencher is all there minus needing a new drive chain and slide on dual sprocket. The unit is otherwise 100% complete.
The Jeep has four new tires and a new battery. I had never even seen one of these Jeeps. There’s a brass data plate that states….”Jeep-A-Trench” on the Jeep. Super cool find.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(08/28/2018) Looks solid and has some updates.

“This CJ-3A was found in Colorado and towed to Wrightwood where it was purchased in 2001.
It had been hand painted and decorated with a brush. Although it still ran it was very very tired.
With the help and guidance of the most recent owner (Vietnam Vet), there was a frame off restoration done!
Along with a completely rebuilt engine and transmission, the body was removed and straightened piece by piece.
51 years of dirt and grease were removed from the frame and repainted.
This Jeep was put back together just in time in 2003 for the Wrightwood Car Show.
Today this Little Flattie is completely original. All of the gauges have been replaced with original equipment.
The electrical system has been rewired to original specifications.
Except for the 15-inch rims that replaced the original 16 inch, this is what it looked like
on the show room floor in 1950.”
It’s labeled as a 1967, so it could be built on a CJ-5 chassis.
