“1946 willys cj2a. Bought as a project but don’t have the time to work on it. It will start and run. Has a ford 2.3 in it and it comes with alot of stuff. 3500.00 bring a trailer.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
Runs and drives, but is a project. The “top” or cover looks to be made of fiberglass. I don’t know if this was a one-off or not, but I could see this being popular with the folks jeeping in the desert back in the day (much lighter than a Muller Top for example).

“1953 “high Hood” has a Ford 302 V8 everything else is original. Runs and drives but it is a project. I drive it local and have taken it hunting several times. Good little jeep but I don’t have time to finish it right.”

“For sale is a pair of Willys Go-Devil engines. One is a military unit in a generator, the other appears to be from a CJ. The yellow one is stuck but may be repairable. The blue one was rebuilt when purchased several years ago. They come with some accessories seen in the pics like starter, distributors, oil pump, fans, flywheel, timing cover etc. $450 each or $750 for the pair.”
This has an odd rollbar setup. Note the ends of the loops are not connected.

“1948 Willys CJ2A with GM Iron Duke engine. Has a welded in roll bar, power steering. Body is in great shape. Does not run and has no title. Was set up for trails but is street legal. Bought for parts, but is too nice to strip down.”
The cooler temps (highs in 70s, lows in 40s) this week means winter is approaching all too fast. Our pasture irrigation will shut down Monday, so we moved cows, slaughtered our 2 steers (with 8 of our neighbor’s steers), so I am flush with beef cheeks, hangar steaks, skirts, tails, and some organ meat (neighbor wanted none of those cuts). I walked away with about 100lbs of extra meat! Our three heifers get slaughtered next month.
We joined lots of other folks who enjoyed the northern lights this week. These are early shots (circa 8pm) as Ann is still navigating life on a knew-trike after having light foot surgery earlier this week, so we didn’t stay out too late.
The other day Ann and I talked about how we wanted to remodel part of the shop so we can add a pool table and some other stuff, including a Wurlitzer jukebox. That led to me doing some searches to see what a jukebox would run. It turned out, a local guy was selling off his uncle’s collection of jukeboxes, speakers, and music. This guy’s uncle has so many records, they line the walls of his roughly 60′ shop in multiple rows– immense!
The guy also had 36 jukeboxes. Apparently, he was quite the collector before he passed. Anyway, since I was local and since I mentioned that Rudolph Wurlitzer was my great great grandfather, the guy cut me a heck of a deal on these two jukeboxes. I haven’t had a chance to plug them in yet (figured I’d do ewillys updates first). I know they at least light up, and given what I paid, just that would be enough.
The one on the left is a 2600 from 1962 and the one on the right is a 1500 from 1952.
So, no surprise, not much done on jeeps this past week!
Sounds like it runs and drives?

Odd Jeep COE, cab over. It just sites there and needs to go to someone who will have fun with it, I have too many toys to keep up with”

“Restored 1946 Willys CJ2A, cloned to look like a WWII MB Jeep
Runs and drives as it should and passed MA inspection.
Lots of fun to drive , everyone will waive and salute, great for parades.
Sold as is seen in the photos , there is no top for this jeep.
The Jeep is stored inside with climate control on a trickle charger.
These old jeeps are not meant for highway speeds and you can expect 45 MPH
I will help with transportation arrangements and loading if needed.”
This one has an unusual hardtop.

“1947 Willys Jeep. And a 1951 Willys Jeep for parts. The red 47 was running and used to push/pull vehicles into an auto clinic. Hasnt been syarted in several years and rats got to the wiring and hoses. Motor turns over by hand. The blue 51 had a new clutch installed a few years ago, but haven’t done anything with it since. No titles and lots of rust. I don’t have time to fix them up like I wanted. Located near Clifty, AR. $2500 obo.”

“What you’re looking at is a 1956 willys cj5 with a clear title, I’m selling for parts or a project. Though it is a little rough around the edges, this old jeep is very complete and stock minous the seats and my favorate part, the engine. Very early in its age, the 4 cylender was removed and it was hotroded with a Studibaker champion flat 6. It does run but needs a little work to make it drivable. The brakes need gone through, right now the pedal sits on the floor. It needs a water pump. It’s got a new fuel pump, new points&condenser, new coil, new ignition switch, new muffler. The body is in rough shape but could be repared. My plan was to preserve it the way it looks and get it back on the road but I have too many other projects. I’m asking $3500 for it but I’m open to cash offers only. No trades.”
It’s a project. Thanks to Bill for sharing.

“I believe this is a 1943 Willy’s mb or gpw not shure. It was a working project but i found another hobby and ran out of funds. So I’m selling as is, has a new set of tires and has been sitting for about 3 years. Has all the seats that need upholstery. The engine runs but fuel tank has a leak , the clutch needs adjusting and never got to it. I put new gages and rewired electrical, like I said it’s a working project, the frame has a serial number 50675 stamped on it . I have no title for this vehicle, so I’m selling as salvage. I also have extras that will go with the sale , 2 gal. Military green paint new, also have another extra engine like the one on the photo placed on an engine mount see photo, also the original radiator and a set of 5 rims for that type of vehicle, and lots of other parts. All go with this sale. I am retired and and will be moveing to a smaller home cant take everything with me so selling all as is.”

“Cj2A tub. Left sided spare tire bracket, called a “left tub” I was told there was only around 10,000 made but either way it’s a half way decent tub that will get your project moving. Better suited for a driver or rock bouncer, or if you’ve got the time it’s restorable.”
UPDATE: price bumped to $10,000.
