Roger forwarded a link to photos from this year’s Jeep Cavalcade in Silang. It looks like attendance was good. see all the pics here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=oa.10155758622041046&type=3 … fun, and useless, fact: the only VA healthcare facility outside the United States is in the Philippines (US Embassy in Manilla to be exact).

“2 Willys Jeeps for sale. This is a project that I would love to finish, but I’m moving and the cost to move them would be more than they are worth. The Jeeps are a CJ-2A and CJ 3B I believe as far as the motor transmission and transfer case go. I have a frame in good condition with title. My plan was to take parts from both of these to make one Jeep. The black one ran and drove when I got it, but the fuel pump dumped fuel all over the place. The fuel pump and starter were removed for repair and never put back on. The green one started, but would only run for a few seconds before shutting off. Both jeeps will need to be towed. I prefer to sell them together and with the frame.”

The Can has been replaced, in black primer and many other things. I used it for many years at my land but I sold it this spring and it is just sitting now and I have no where to use it. 1952 M-38 Sells for $67,200 at Barrett Jackson Event
This less than accurate restoration of an M-38 sold for $49,500 in 201. Then, just last month, it was auctioned for $67,500, though a portion (no note on how much) of the proceeds was supposed to go to a military charity (it remains unidentified).
Interestingly, Hagerty Insurance valued it at $10,500, which seems a pretty fair estimate.

“his posting is for a 1952 Willys M38-A1 (US Army) Jeep with 59,182 miles. Stored indoors in a climate-controlled warehouse. Beautifully patinaed it runs great and starts every time. Top end is 60 MPH on a flat road (if you’re leaning forward). New starter, coil, five tires and tubes. Gas tank has been cleaned and sealed. Recent oil change. Four-cylinder 4-134 F engine with three speed T90 transmission that runs strong, but does leak a little oil . New complete engine/seal kit comes with the vehicle. Transfer case may or may not work, never put in four-wheel drive. 24-volt electrical system with built in trickle charger. Has roof bow but I’ve never had the canvas top (inexpensive and readily available). Lots of period extras, including practice grenade (drilled and used as shifter), hula girl, ammo box, 1951 oil can mounted to floor with a coffee cup holder, knapsack mounted to back of seat for storage, cut off key for security in glove box, rear view mirror, shovel under hood, blackout light works, Korean War canteen for radiator overflow, gas can, whip antennae, two-ton grill plate, hemp rope, tow hitch and hooks, and latch seat belts from a 1960 Havilland bomber.

“1957 cj6 willys jeep
Very rare to the northeast, this is the longer wheelbase version of the cj6, similar to the cj8 scramblers.
12v system
I believe it is a Buick v6 that came in it from the factory with a 3 stick 3speed manual.
I had it running 2 years ago when I bought it, wouldn’t take much time to clean carb and put some new fuel in. Floor has been patched, bodys in ok shape. Frame has one spot that needs attention. Have the soft top frame and soft doors for it, no canvas. Has old mechanical plow pump and controls, think my blade off another jeep would fit for a little more money if interested. Kept under cover since I’ve owned it. Hate to see it go but I’ve got too many projects and no time. Good to restore or use at camp. No title but will give bill of sale
$2500 obo
Trades considered, try me. 4 wheelers, tools, tractors doa, engines, transmissions, guns, etc”
