“I’m selling a 1964 Jeep CJ6 project. It runs. It’s a 4 cyl, new master cylinder, new fuel pump, clean Nv title.has minor surface rust”
It is not currently street legal.
https://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto/d/1946-cj-2a-jeep-willy/6820722551.html
“It can be used as a recreational or farm/ranch vehicle currently. It would need more work to become street legal. The engine starts and runs nice. It has a new aluminum radiator and never gets close to overheating. I’ve also recently installed new gas tank, lines and fuel pump, along with a new five year battery. The tires have great tread for the mud. All the gauges and lights work, but recently cracked the back light covers, which is a cheep and easy fix. I have a reprint of the original manual and guide book to the complete tear down and rebuild that will come with the vehicle.”
Only one of the jeeps is pictured and it looks more like a CJ-3A.

Seller has listed this as a 1941, but clearly it’s an M-38. The sides have been modified.
https://austin.craigslist.org/cto/d/mason-1941-willys-jeep/6820972802.html
“1941 Willys jeep with five digit serial number. One of the first 10,000 made that year. Serial number denotes it was made for the Marine Corp. MC66582. It has been converted to 12 volt and was running since conversion. Motor turns freely and will not take much to get running.”
The bumper and front frame rails appear to be angled downward. Tranny has been removed.
https://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/d/dallas-1948-willys-jeep-cj2a/6820376707.html
“Project, appears to be the original unmodified go devil motor, electrical system is still 6 volts. Needs a new clutch, transmission was removed but comes with Jeep. Registered in Vermont until April 2020.
Vermont does not issue titles for vehicles over 15 years old. You can either re-register in Vermont or I will give you a bill of sale to get a bonded Texas title. No trades! $1900.00”

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** was $24,999.
The seller of this jeep suggested to at least one potential buyer that for more pics and a description, the potential buyer could download a book from Shutterfly for $70. While this may or may not be a scam, I feel such a suggestion is inappropriate. Moreover, the seller refuses to be contacted by phone (text only), even though the seller contacted me by email.
“Restored to 90% specification using original parts and other high quality reproductions. THIS IS NOT THE 1945 WILLY’S MB! The 1941 model is exceedingly rare and differs from the 1945 Jeep in more than 30 ways.
Some of the notable differences that are found on this Willy’s are: rubber steering wheel, brass framed instruments, pumpkin air filter, distinct fuel tank and filler, seat upholstery, and gears; heavy drive shaft, rectangular gearbox cover, glass fuel filter, single-piece rims, and more that are detailed in a book included with the purchase.
The vehicle is exceptionally unique and has a clean title. I accept only serious offers. TXT only, please.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $25,000.
The price is listed at $25,000, but it sounds like the seller will take offers.

UPDATE II: Bob Westerman shared a few cage photos he’s found during his research:
UPDATE: Dan tracked down this detailed explanation of the Squirrel Cage: http://weaponews.com/weapons/16209-a-system-for-increasing-the-patency-of-the-squirrel-cage-usa.html
The November 9, 1948, issue of the Evening Star ran a short article on the Squirrel Cage. A February 1949 issue of Mechanix Magazine ran the same photo (and it’s more clear).
These aren’t the greatest brochure examples, but I’ve never run across brochures for A. J. Parsons equipment. Also included are a couple go-for-digger plow documents. The price is crazy.
