“Old plow jeep. I had it running and idling a couple months ago . Rebuilt carb. Hurricane engine runs very well. 12 volt alternator. Plow setup. Body is rough. Frame looks to be in decent shape. Restore, parts, yard vehicle.

“Runs great. Nice body, good frame, good seats.
Four-wheel drive works well.
Disk Brakes on front.
Skyjacker Lift: springs and shackles.
Roll bar and seat belts.
Great looking tires and wheels.
12 volt: Alternator and new battery.
Steering has been converted from stock: works and drives, but needs work:
· Unknown box is loose: tighten or install the provided/included rebuilt Saginaw box.
· Angle of shaft between box and column is too much for the single joint installed. Needs a double joint <$200.
· Tilt column is too short. Knuckles hit windshield. Need to replace it with another longer junkyard unit or a $90 one from Speedway. (would look better too.)
Has a vintage heater in place of a temperature gauge. Re-plumb it or sell it to a collector.
Comes with a new temperature gauge and proper fittings, need to install it.
New oil pan gasket installed: looked great inside pan.
Oil leak at pressure gauge hose: New hose in shipping now, need to install.
Trans drips so you know it has fluid. Could try 120 wt. or re-gasket.
One of the windshield panes is cracked.
Has most of a good top: both doors, good top with one mouse hole, looks like has all bows, maybe missing windshield rail. (I never put it on)
Note the nice custom speaker boxes that work well. Radio works but missing face plate. Plays the included ZZTOP CD well.
Includes NEW miscellaneous parts: points and condenser, original style carb gasket…
Good windshield wiper and motors included loose. (too close to steering wheel) No horn, I may have one.
Original spare tire mount and bolts. lots of holes to install it on side or back.
Bumper hitch.
In NON-OP. Will register if that works for buyer.”
It’s springtime in Austria. Bernd and his CJ-5 are back to work.
“My jeep helped prepare for a classic vehicle get-together (see links below). Today, I moved a narrow gauge railroad switch for the event. On my way, the traffic police pulled me and the jeep aside. Fortunately, they found nothing amiss, so I left without a ticket.”

The auction just ended, but I’m sure if you contacted the seller he’d relist it for purchase. His starting bid was $6.95 plus $3.78 shipping.

“This Jeep has been sitting in a pasture for 20 years. Prior to that it was used for farm work since the 1960s. It ran when it was parked, but obviously after 20 years it no longer runs. Lots of rust, but lots of history.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(11/15/2018) This is a former Melha Shrine Circus jeep. The seller calls it a 1947 in a video, but correctly notes it is a 1948 in the ad.

“46 Willys CJ2A. Old jeep been on the farm for 60 years I know of, needs some metalwork, but all there. Run, drives and stops. Recent work: New tune up. All lights work. 4 new jeep tires and 2 new rims(old wheels and tires in pictures), all new brakes(front axle has been converted to disc with new bearings). Price is FIRM, this ain’t Uncle Bud’s used car lot. Great for the beer lease or to restore.”
I’d won this a few years ago on eBay, but never got this posted. The scans are not the best, but I’ll have to wait until later to redo them.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This toy is about 8″ long. Seller thinks it might be a Kempro Kit toy.
“Here is a nice sturdy toy car. Unknown maker. Quite possibly was a Kempro Co kit.
It is well made, and has been played with. I love Jeeps and have had a few. This sat on my desk at the shop. Unpacking some boxes the other day, I came across it again.
It shows some signs of age, but otherwise is in very good condition. Nice hardwoods used. ”
The seller has several of these neat Willys Aero brochures. It’s not anything jeep-related, but it’s a neat advertising piece. This advertisement dovetails with Willys 1951-1953 efforts to push the WILLYS brand. At the start of 1953 Willys-Overland introduced the Aero Falcon, the Aero Ace, and the Aero Lark.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $13,000.

(04/18/2018) Chad spotted another California modified Flattie. It’s nearly identify to three other jeeps (same body updates, same dash, same custom windshield, same Muller custom top, etc). The differences are slightly, such as this one has a black rear bumper rather than a chrome one like the others.
Here’s the ad …
