“For sale is a Hunter Manufacturing 20K BTU Military Cab heater. It came equipped on a restored M38 I recently purchased, and I don’t really need heat in a topless Jeep. Working and in like NOS condition. Uses engine coolant to produce heat, electrical to run the blower fan – 2 speeds Hi/Low. Includes the switch, resistor and a small Douglas connector wiring harness. These were commonly used on M151 MUTTs but can also be used for 5 Tons, M37s, M38s, M38A1… anything with a 24V system. $100 Firm”

“Rare barn find- 1949 Willy’s Jeep delivery has been sitting in a barn for 30+ years and then my garage for the past 4 years. The beast was used as a grocery delivery vehicle in the 60ish in Western Iowa. Mileage is at 68,000. Pretty rust free but the drivers side floor board is a little soft. It has new brakes, exhaust, tires, battery, and fuel line. This vehicle has the L134 Go Devil engine in it- 2WD. We had grand hopes to rebuild but it just hasn’t happened. “A 1948 Willy’s CJ2A. Jeep is in very good condition. Shows less than 18 K miles on odometer. This was a classic barn find near Audubon Iowa in 1978, and was purchased by my father and driven home. The motor was smoking badly at that time and it sat indoors in heated storage for many years. In the last few years the 4 cylinder flat head motor has been rebuilt, the 3 speed manual drive line gone thru, the brake,fuel, and cooling systems repaired/replaced.

New windshield glass. New seat cushions on all three seats on original frames. Still wears its faded and scratched “Princeton Black” 1948 paint excepting a few areas that were cleaned up as it was restored to be a turnkey driver. Factory(?) side steps All five original wheels, still in faded 1948 “Sunset Red”- which actually was a pumpkin orange- with a black trim stripe. This just might be a modified CJ-3B windshield that’s been modified upward to fit a CJ-3A. Chuck was telling me that he has seen these. If in fact that’s the case, it looks well done. If I were closer I’d get this for Biscuit.
